21:30 I think Kreide is a pretty good showcase of where her limits are with the module. Phase 1 Kreide gets +50 RES so he has 70RES total and that's definitely where the damage is dropping off really badly (same on the Witch King with his 80 RES). The improvement in the 40-60RES range is crazy, but the crazier thing to me is how she eats elites alive. And of course, there's the usual Jesselton bullying... really a sad boss that second phase just dies of normal attacks before skill is up again.
50 res bosses are her bread and butter, because activating burn just in 4 hits is insanely good. But against 70 res she looks pretty decent too, even 1 burn is enough to deal a lot of damage.

Have been using her whenever I can when she debuted in GL. To me they just turned her into a burn ground ritualist. Which isn't bad, she takes advantage of the broken burn impairment and allowing other arts dmg dealers to dish out more dmg.
If Reed (medic) gets a module that increases her Cinder effect, it may make it a broken synergy for her. Though, I guess there won’t be many situations that’ll be needed. She already handles too much on her own. Maybe in RA, high difficulty IS or when we get another CC.
Oh. I mentioned Reed because that Cinder works as an arts fragility and debuffs attack. Actively helps Viviana deal more damage and receive less. But I would like to see how much HG would improve that effect of it they’re going another way
I've had her built S3M3 for many months now as she has always been a pretty solid operator even if unexceptional, she did her job of dueling hard hitting enemies pretty well, especially with that short CD and respectable DPS and even better when paired with someone who can cut RES like Haze of Eyja's S2.

The most insane thing is, this is just her alone. Just with burn burst, she essentially has the -20 RES ignore that Surtr has, except it’s even better because she’s not the only one benefiting from it. Ifrit S3? A better lane of annihilation. Hell, you can even make this better since she has her own burn module that would compliment Viviana’s DPS. Saria S3? Enemies won’t be able to beat a virtually immortal deer unless they can one shot her and deal damage quick enough. Warmy? Enemies will just combust on the spot the moment Viviana triggers the burn. And if she’s buffed and overcharged, even better because her talent and skill scaling is insane. This one is actually funny, because Warmy got buffed because of a different operator’s module entirely that’s not even from the same class as her. The module compliments her quite well, and addresses one of the main weaknesses of the archetype, namely their damage output against high RES enemies to justify deploying them on the field along with being able to handle small crowds better with her skills active. Very fun module, can’t wait for it to come to global to watch enemies combust suddenly thanks to an armed deer and a bunny chef.
As a huge Arts Fighter fan, this is very pleasing to watch. Sad Supreme Leader Amiya and 'Mouse' only got +8 ATK SPD, not sure what the studios were cooking.

For Amiya and Mouse it's just disrespect because Amiya is everyone's favorite daughter tied with Romontis (and the literal leader or Rhodes Island, Sarkaz King, ect.) and 'Mouse' still can't permanently reapply her S1 without having to rely on the RNG from her double-hit talent. Might as well not have a module for any of them (including Surtr and Seige, although they don't need to be buffed). In fact, I'd be willing to wait another decade for a better one if it meant they'd take away the current one.

Nah, the 90 Res only few in the game, it just ±15 enemies. So it doesn't matter. We has a Better option to beat Highest Res with the ops who can ignore RES, or using debuffer to reduced their RES

The amount of times people compared her to Surtr when there’s a clear difference in role for each. A stage doesn’t start when the boss appears and doesn’t end when it dies. And dealing with bosses isn’t a solo effort if we’re being realistic.

Surtr wouldn't benefit from burn. She'd take longer to fill the gauge (notice Viviana attacks 3 times in one hit) and that res debuff from elemental burst is not big for someone who already has some res ignore. Surtr would do better with more atk or aspd with the res ignore she got from module. It's not broken (which she already is), but it's solid. If anything she could've gotten dodge ignore for the tile directly in front, but maybe HG didn't think of that.
Burn might actually be awkward to have on her because her talent is basically the burn impairment and she inlu does 1 hit per enemy vs Viviana fast s2 or multi hit s3. I'm a bit certain that Surtr will hit 0 HP then the burn triggers which her invincibility doesn't fully cover.

This comment is absurd and just overrating ‘true damage’ that Vina herself kinda also suck at. Skill 1 and skill 2 is just straight up bad and not even good for lane holding due to her only having 1 block. Skill 3 have an outrageous sp cost for some middling true damage, you most likely only getting her s3 up like two time in a stage.
The module is warranted and im glad to see she got it, I still think the kit is really boring considering the entire thing of the boss unit was doing a large aoe explosion, but there's only so much you can do with a guard I suppose. I just think they shouldve gone riskier with it
Year 0 boss design was ... different. They didnt expect you to nuke the bosses into oblivion (and theyre mostly designed for lower level teams and new players) so the second phases dont get the grace period invuln.
Hot take, but i don’t think this module was the right way to go. It buffed her first talent and added burn, while the second talent is the most important one to her kit and gameplay, while also desperately needing improvement. Now we’re in this awkward spot where her second module probably won’t get burn despite buffing the far more important talent making it a but more unnapealing to use because burn provides her with the much needed res shred. All in all, great module but i wish it buffed the second talent. Happy new year!
Eh i dont know if her second trait needs an upgrade since the whole point of it is being used with her s3.when her skill is active she has like 60% to get shield from each hit so her survivability is pretty high during her skill what she really needed is dmg because without module it sucks

Surtr's module is a hilariously bad joke. +8 aspd when not blocking XD Talent upgrades from 20 -> 26 res ignore. So against enemies with 30-60 res its *huge*, but above that its just surtr being surtr. Below that it does close to, if not literally nothing.
(Math: Pot 5 Surtr has exactly 800 attack; with mod 3 thats 860 - 860 * 240% = 2064 attack 50 Res (-20) = 30 res = 1,445 damage per hit w/mod 50 Res (-26) = 24 res = 1,568 damage per hit Net increase of 123 damage per hit 1.25aspd (4 attacks in 5 seconds) -> 1.16aspd = 7 attacks in 8 seconds - 9.28s to land an 8th attack. 12,544 damage total in 10 seconds vs 11,560 damage total in 10 seconds - 984 more damage in 10 seconds with the damage coming out about 3/4 a second faster. Fully upgrading a 6* module for an increase of 98.4dps is ... Questionable
Viviana is E2 LVL 90 S3M3 with module LVL 3 and pot 0 in this video. Imgaine if Thorns had this kinda module 💀
