Had mine for a few months and have used it for zipping around car shows, short trips as well as a 20+ mile day trip. The lack of suspension is definitely my main complaint especially with how rough the roads, paths, and sidewalks are here in Hawaii. Recently picked up an aftermarket seat post and it really makes a difference being able to mount a large spring seat to help soften the ride.
That thing looks like it's straight out of the 70's.
These are solid for what they are, but they compare most to escooters in the 500$ and under range and that hurts it ALOT. If it went 20mph for 20 miles it would be significantly more competitive. As it is, it's a novelty, not really something useful.

Did anyone at honda actually test this thing outside their work campus? Have they even rode on the average city sidewalk?
I’ll guessing it’s not road legal and would take up to much room on most American sidewalks
"You're Under Arrest" Anime features the Moto Compo. It looked like it was a fun ride too, though 92 lbs is a bit much to lug around
Love the compact size but there's nothing suitcase about it. I have a real different suitcase scooter and I love it.
I’d use it as a pit bike at an autocross or track day. The size is perfect, unfolding isnt an issue if it’s just part of unloading for the day. I don’t think it’s meant for daily use with the issues you mentioned, but to do a sighting lap on a race track or autocross course, seems perfect.

This reminds me of what the sidekick characters from a Saturday Morning cartoon would ride. Definitely neat, but the seat would be a deal breaker for me.
This would pay $300 max on this. Most scooters in the $300 area can go as fast as 20mph & have greater range.

Wonder why they didn’t even offer a suspension seat? With a lot of e-bikes, you can go in settings and “unlock” more speed. It might be possible here too!

$399-$499 is a more palatable price point. $1,000 is just too much for what it isn't.
I think the folded form-factor is the only aspect I see as a plus.

It's maybe $500 cool. At a $1000 you're getting into duel motor territory. $1400 you can get full suspension 60v 6000w 50 mph hyper scooter.

Its a mall/airport scooter! Convenient usage for mall security and police and/or people with disabilities who need to cover vast distances indoors such as a mega mall!
Otherwise, just get a Fluid Mosquito scooter for the ultraportable last-mile solution!

Most of the mobility scooters has a top speed of 4 miles per hour. That is roughly walking speed.
That looks like it should be a public use vehicle for large establishments: airports, malls, stadiums, etc.
Maybe if it was a bit cheaper...

Honestly look really good. Prices of good scooters are around $600-$1200, so I think it justified in price.

I appreciate the compact folding design, but for $1000, you can a better e scooter or e-bike with more range, more power and speed. 15mph top speed and 12 miles of range is really bad for $1000.
Electric Scooters and bikes come down to mph. I would not listen to people who owned both for years and brought the entry level long range models that had speed limited by law of 20 mph. At first it was nice until you ride it in traffic and up hills. The speed limit governs how much acceleration you will get and also how much torque it has. I upgraded to a 80 mph electric scooter and could not be happier! Got rid of my Segway limited 20 mph scooter.😊

I'm more curious as to why this thing is 42 pounds? It feels like over-engineering to me, especially when a typical electric scooter is faster, lasts a bit longer, has suspension, and 1/2 the weight, though less compact.
If this thing was half the price and had a bit more speed (like a top speed of 35-30mph) then I could see it selling extremely well. Seeing it for 1000 dollars, while a great design, is just too much for what you get.

@@NextNate03 yup, but all the benefits of this transfer to an EUC, but better. They are more portable, longer ranger, more power, and for a grand you can get a Begode A2 that goes 24mph and a realistic 30 mile range while also being smaller
This thing is a "nostalga product". I have a Jetson Nano e-bike that costs less than half of this and its got more range and is more comfy to ride. Honestly though it looks neat, its Honda, I doubt they sold a lot of these things so w/e. Cool little novelty but not practical.

$1,000? Okay, it's cool that it stores completely flat I'll give them that. But besides that, this is a botched folding e-bike missing the suspension, the gearing to make it faster, and a bunch of other nice things you get from an electric bike that can fold into the back of your trunk.
Most folding ebikes have more features, but this is not for storing in your car, it's for carrying with you on the subway. The target demographic for these things don't own cars
