I think you should put a mini stack on it. One that comes up and bends rearward at the same angle as the windshield. Then reverse cut the tip of it (so the top side is cut, not the underside). Overall make it just a smidge higher than the roof to keep the soot off the car. Beside making the car dirty, that soot is going to look stupid on the car (IMHO). I see plenty of trucks that run a real short stack close to the cab and the truck is nasty dirty. Comes across as a half baked build if you follow.

Matt if your tach and ac stopped working it might be your engine speed sensor on the front of the engine that went out. My 95 2500 had the same problem and it was that sensor that went out. The computer doesn’t think the engine is on so it doesn’t register a rpm and the computer won’t disengage the ac clutch.

You have to paint this that original green color you were talking about. Make it it truly special!

Hey Matt if your afraid to scuff the paint but want to go mudding just do a cool colored bed liner like a midnight purple bed liner on the whole body and leave the rims, bumpers, and emblems black

I think it's badass the way it is. Love the matte black. It just needs more interior so your kids have a safe place to sit. Then ya'll can all enjoy it.

The Cummings Cuda is looking magnificent.
Probably about a year left doing final fitment and all the little odds and ends to get her 100%
I still think you should give her a show quality paint job in green or maybe a hypershift paint.

If you get a good paint job on the cuda just PPF it and you will be able to do whatever and the paint will be protected.

Makes me want my 1970 Cuda! Had the classic muscle car raised back end. Air shocks, Mickey Thompson 50s tires on the back and '70s on the front all on cragar SS rims.

Glad to see you are taking a little bit of a break in you’re UA-cam schedule. I love when you post everyday/every other day but don’t want you to get burnt out. Take the week long breaks whenever you need to. Love the vids man

The only thing I dislike on it is that exhaust sticking strait up like that in front of the passenger seat. Basically I see lots of gas and soot being sucked into the cab through the AC vents. Vent it out the back and skip the black lung.

Hey Matt love the 'Cuda! I think you should get it wrapped in "Panther Pink" just for the test and tune phase of the build. Who knows it may grow on you and that's the color you end up doing the final paint. It's a true Mopar color and very rare...just like this beast is. I think Mere would love it too. She's gonna do it anyway so just beat her to the punch lol. For the hood you can have Brandon fabricate an oversized flat black "Shaker" that's functional. For the exhaust I would lose the single stack and run a custom stainless mandrel bent dual exhaust out the back with "exaggerated" factory tips...I'm sure Brandon could make it happen. Rolling coal out of that cool stack is fun but cleaning the car after every run will be a nightmare not to mention breathing diesel exhaust isn't the best idea.

honestly should do a loud mopar paint color like Sublime Green, Plum Crazy Purple, etc... along with the billboard across the rear fenders.

  • @dgmills5351
    @dgmills5351 2 роки тому

Rolling a little "Coal"! You just need to get a taller stack so the soot goes above the roof line Matt. The speedo may need a new gear for the transmission.

THE CUDA IS ALIVE !!! It may have a black eye and a few bandages, but it's alive. I am so happy for you Matt, you, Brandon and the Bros did a awesome job. Lot's of love from the American Hillbilly and the Hillbilly Nation, Hillbilly Up brother.

I think you only got one sleeve because it's a heat sleeve so you can work on the engine and not burn your arms. I have done Lisle brand ones and I had to buy them individually. I'd assume it's the same thing

19:45 maybe the AC is overworked since it's not operating in a closed off cabin since you don't have side windows?

You could always wrap it till you figure out what you want to do with the outside. Maybe a grey and black camo with your logo on the doors .

The cud’s needs the single dulley wheel. They make them for tractor trailers. Just one single wheel and tire give a more Hot Rod feel. But still gives you load capabilities.

Dude. I just LOVE the sound of that 12 valve idling. I bet with the soot deal you're going to have to lengthen that pipe a bit higher to keep the window from being covered. Orr turned down underneath, maybe out the side. I see lots of soot in the future...lol. At least you didn't do like Granger in his diesel video with WhistlingDiesel sticking his head out the side window and being covered in soot...lol.

Spray the outer body with a smooth armor coat paint like bed liner and then wrap the outside in something cool and if it gets trashed, re-wrap it.

You should do a black rhino lining on the whole cuda. That way it would still look awesome but you don’t have to worry about beating it up playing in the mud.
