I usually buy directly from Nintendo online. If it’s sold out by Nintendo then my next option would be Game online or collect from the closest store.
Yeah; something fishy with Amazon I'm general. First they don't let you use Amazon gift card balances (if I return an item, I ask the money to be in the form of my gift card balance, becuase it was faster); to buy eshop cards digital or physical. Now this. Yeah, I think you right abkut the rest of your points.

So Mike, have you found any proof of Super Mario Galaxy 2 coming to the Switch in June or July for this year yet?
I wouldn’t invest in a switch 2 unless it came with 3D or VR
But at least pulling the games makes more sense im glad i saw the amazon pull and went gamestop. 😅
Well there are a couple of Nintendo patents that point to a separate VR accessory so hopefully they release one sometime in the future.
Sadly you can't Pre-Order Paper Mario the Thousand-Year Door HD Remake in USA Amazon and Walmart, I feel so sad for you guys😢. But gladly we can Pre-Order it here in the Northen Europe, I'll still buy Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door HD Remake just in a launch day 23.4.2024 or maybe I'll wait it for christmas, because 64€ just from a remake is too expensive in my opinion, but it's the Best Paper Mario game before Origami King! 😊
