Great video, keep the hard work .D, two suggestion, first, playing the whole song in the beginning or in a separate video can help getting more views to the channel or excite and inspire those who come to learn the song, will make the video longer but will look awesome if you play it and latter make a compilation of all the song. Second writing the notes on the description or (even better) in the video, will help a lot to the tutorials, most of the time you pause the video will playing the practicing the song, rewind, hear again the explanation and comeback to the piano, and having the notes on the screen will make it really easy. i know that you don`t do this for money, but if more people see this channel, the better for everyone who loves Coldplay, Thx for reading this, sorry if is weird, im from Chile and writing is not my strong part xd, Saludos :D y sigue así
Agreed. The thing is most people can't read music; they just want a key-by-key tutorial. I can read it just fine, but I think once you include the notes in the vid they get overwhelmed. Like unless you play piano, I doubt you'd know what a Bsus 4 is...

I can play by ear quite well but not this well. It's like you can detect each individual note in each chord phrase and get the rhythm just right too. How do you do it? Awesome!

Thanks for the lessons mate! I already got part 1 down. I'm having trouble on part 2 though. I could get the chords down but I can't get the rhythm. I try to copy the way your left and right hand go in your Christmas Lights cover but I'm still having trouble.
EuphoriaCare It is very tricky indeed. Its a bit hard to describe through text, but essentially the right hand rhythm somewhat off the normal beats. Id say to try and slow the song down and play along with it, and do the verse over and over. Then you can start to pick up the tempo. Also you can always change it up to better fit your own playing style. Put your own spin on it! You could also just play the chords along with the beats.

If you wanna learn to play with both hands something that will realy help you is to learn how to play Clocks by Coldplay. That song realy helped me to get independence in both hands cause you have to play the same riff on both hands.

That song takes a lot of practice. Particularly in the live version, you have to play octaves with the right hand while diddling around on your left.
Although HFTW isn't one of my favorite songs, it's still interesting on the piano. Great job Kyle!

Yes 90 BPM is correct but if you wanted to hear the clicks more frequently you could do 180 :)
