Not dying in my book. In fact, not bad, unlike that one in a cafeteria of a video done by Brettman273, IIRC. The cafeteria here, was an ongoing issue: ua-cam.com/video/r0j_LPTHup4/v-deo.html It was working in a previous video, but it wasn't loud, IIRC, then in the recent one that I know about, it's dead now!
At least the pulses between the temporal 3 mechanical horns and 60 bpm TrueAlerts are in sync. Now they just need to set the TrueAlerts to temporal 3 as well…
My Job Has a Similar Layout. I work at a Childcare Facility, Its big but its a Big 4010 Classic Installed in 2013. The N/A's are Wheelock LSM Strobes And beside them Are Simplex 4901-9805 Remote Horns. They Sound Beautiful, None of the Horns Ever Needed Replacing. We also Tighten the Loose Screws to keep the Horns from Going bad. Our Monthly Drill Is coming up But the Signal Code Used to Be March Time. The Building was Constructed In 2000, Sadly the Signal Code Changed Last month. All Of the Horns In the Building are the Originals, No New Installs or nothing. There was a LSM Strobe that was Replaced With a L-Series Strobe and One Dead LSM Strobe That was Replaced with a Wheelock RSS Strobe Plate And the Horn Was Mounted on the Plate in the Gym. I hate they Changed the Signal Code tho. The New Pattern Is terrible. But Im happy none of our Horns Sound Dead or Awful. They sound Really Healthy. The Echo with the Tile Floor Isn't the Greatest, Especially in the Gym, But Its Beautiful UPDATE::: The new Signal Code Is Of course Continuous, Apparently it was done to meet Current Code Requirements In my City. Since the kids were out of school, They were in from 9-3, they decided to do a Unannounced drill from Noon to 12:10. This was the first time I heard the horns on Continuous code, Since Chicago Mandates This code on Systems(Idk why), its from what we were told I guess, They have some strange Exception. Scared tf out of me when I heard them. They were doing An art activity, And The horn blared out of nowhere. I jumped. But the Echo In the halls are Insane. Its a Big place with only two floors, But its insane.
They must be still so loud. Lol. Thank God theyre on code 3. Like i said, theyre on march time when i was there for summer school. Scared the sh*t outta me the first time. Imagine continuous lol. Yikes. How many alarms does park have?
@@RaccoonAlarmsVosgra well talk to the school engineer he’s the one that did all of this in the first place the engineer told me that was the reason he wanted to upgrade lol
One of ceiling-mounted horn/strobes sounds like a Simplex TrueAlert but on pulse signal while all the mechanical horns are on code-3
i'm glad your school went from an old Simplex 4100 to the newer 4100ES.
Yea but I miss March time tho
@@firemarshallrj9838 The 4100ES actually does march time. but the fire code recommends code 3.

OK
I think my school is scheduled to have its fire drill later this week.
Why not get horn/strobes?
2nd video with the mechanical horns being on code 3.
3rd one be coming in November
Why is the panel in trouble?
Because some of the alarms is it working property
I thought the fire alarm was going to do the slow whoop and then a voice evacuation message since it’s a 4100 es
Huh? We don’t have speaker strobe’s we have Mechanical horns
sounds like a duck alarm

Why the upgrade
Bc the 4100 classic was having all types of trouble on the panel and plus Half the horns wasn’t going off because of panel
