Ashley Park has such a gorgeous voice! I really love her rendition of this song. As a person who sings in choir, I understand that it is very difficult to control your voice, but she makes it seem so effortless! She is one of my favorite Broadway singers to listen to.
USCTrojan65 i prefer conrads vocals. Not in this performance though. But in the 2015 cast recording Conrad is the best Luntha! He sounds more classical than Jose in we kissed in a shadow thats why I like his version better. He sounds like Josh Groban if Josh learned proper singing technique
@@Es_Campanita He is cute, adorable but those high notes were problematic. I'm a fan, he can sing, but this isn't quite right for his voice. He's clearly talented but I think his looks definitely helped him get the role and I'm always happy when openly Gay men "pass" for straight in acting roles. He's a late bloomer, which gives many of us hope, He turned 40 this year.
He has a natural rich voice. Just needs more training when to switch from full chest voice to a mix or falsetto or practice just going all out and committing.

Love him but those high notes can sound strained in the recording as well. Although clean. He still has seriously wonderful pipes!
