This is the best love story ever. It makes me cry to think that they met each other as children and now as adults, they're starting a family together. Talk about fate.
Well to be fair it's not exactly fate when Walter literally bound her fate to theirs by making her part of the cortexiphan trials in the first place.

I also had to laugh when Walter called Astrid by her real name and he says "did I?" and smiles as if he knew all along, but was messing with her for years.

In my country, Fringe is pretty 'fringe'. But for me, still now, Fringe is the best and inspiring.
And the thing is it never had particuarly huge ratings compared to some other big franchises. Enough to keep it going though.
I know I missed a few episodes when it started ( and it never properly aired in Australia), so Netflix and other methods have been a boon. It just seems to fly by when Im watching it though.

I watch this show once in 3 -4 years so that i remember most of it but not all of it. im watching it now currently on season 5. I wish they made a continuation of fringe with anna , joshua , john noble or atleast made the show for 6 - 7 seasons. I can never get enough of fringe
Anna torv is so beautiful.her eyes are amazing. She seems like such a nice friendly grounded person too. She always has time for her fans which I can imagine she has a lot of now x

I think Fringe had a good run. I would have liked to have seen a full season in Season 5, but 13 episodes was okay too. But by season 5, you could see the storylines closing up.
Id like to see a REunion movie one day. That would be awesome.

They had to close up. They initially prepared for seven seasons but upon hearing their likely cancellation, the writers decided to wrap Il the storyline best they could in the final season 😢

If I remember correctly, in the scene where Peter finds his daughter in the next season & finds out it's his kid, I think they play the same song when Olivia tells Peter she's pregnant
Yep and it plays one more time in the final scene of the series. The park scene then Peter gets Walters letter. Beautiful theme

I love this scene.
The problem with what the Observer said is that we don't know how far in the future he was referring to. Does Olivia's death in this episode count as dying if she came back to life? Or is she actually going to die in the upcoming season? Could the writers really be so cruel?
"I suppose the Observer was right...I never want to lose you again..." Peter is just jynxing the heck out of that supposedly fulfilled prophecy too...

I just read an interview with the series showrunners, and they said that "the reason Olivia hesitates will be explained." I honestly didn't even notice it before the first time I watched this scene.

Walter finding out he’s gonna be a grandpa.
I remember this scene from “Welcome to Westfield” and I agree with you that the effect of bright eyes is caused there by the angle to the light source. But it seems to me that in this scene it is not only about the reflection of the light, but about the emotions she is experiencing. In our daily lives we often notice that when person is really happy, his or her eyes are literally shining and at this moment this person is especially beautiful and attractive.
