Love how September has just the barest trace of a smile on his face when he says "She is your Olivia." He wants them together too. September's a shipper!
hejlmatthew September loves them just like we do 😊
September be like ...bro ! She's your olivia
No.
He means that they are meant to be together.
His intervention with Walternate's research to cure Peter's disease was accidental on his part.
But after Peter persists in the timeline following his attempt to erase him, September has decided that this alt Peter was always meant to meet Olivia - and judging by the way she reacts far more positively to Peter for controlling her powers it seems extremely strange that they should come across each other by accident.
Ergo September believes that the universe/space/time has brought them together, or whatever the Observers would call fate.
I honestly believe that Etta with Cortexiphan would be even more dangerous than Olivia given her fathers brains and her mothers emotional capacity and pre exposure to Cortexiphan.
The reason why Peter came back is the best thing ever. I mean, they could've explained it and made it too difficult to understand. Instead, they chose to make it as simple as possible and it turned out to be perfect and fitting with what's been told from the beginning: Fringe is a sci-fi show, but its main subject is love and what we can do when we love.
it's 2019 and this scene still makes me cry
It's 2020 and it is impossible to find a scene that doesn't make you want to cry.
2021!
At least once a year I go on a fringe binge and always come back to this scene :)
I love Fringe
2022, still makes me cry
That line
"YOU HAVE BEEN HOME, ALL ALONG"
😫😭😭😭😭❤️
I just started watching Fringe like 5 days back and I'm already half way through season 5. I don't want to watch anymore for the fear ending it so quickly. One of the best series I've ever watched. This scene was wholesome.
Going through the exact same thing 😢 I’m on 5x10 and I dont want it to end
I love how she sees Peter smile and start to walk to her, and she like instantly recognizes that he knows she is his Olivia now, and that he was no longer going to leave. Such a good show.
This couple is so underrated, one of the best in the history of tv for me easily!!!!
You got that right. They are!
I may have (slightly) screamed at the screen after this: 'I KNEW SHE WAS HIS OLIVIA!!' My father was scared.
em. 😂😂
Just the hint of a smile on his face
😊
Way to go Michael Cerveris
What's great about this, is that this actually is a "love letter to the fans". Unlike the ending of Chuck, the showrunners actually cared about the fans and what they actually wanted to see. Thank you Fringe writers and producers.
Aaron Smith "unlike the ending of chuck" 😂
Aaron, I totally agree with you. I was so ticked off, how they ended Chuck. They could have at least, showed Sara getting her memories back.
Whats wrong with chucks ending ? Yeah sarah lost his memories that was not a good move but at th3 end she decides to stay with chuck...she had been avoiding him and their story at the end she asks them about their story and we can see her instantly connecting with it ..she tells chuck to kiss her right away on that magical kiss theory even though they both knew its not logical but she wanted it because she chose to be that sarah once again and have that life and chuck with hopes that her memories will come back as they were triggering around chuck throughout last 2 episodes and she finally accepts her feeling and emotions that she did feel something for him she couldn't kill him had 2-3 chances...its just that sarah in s1 before she became chuck friend and actually started caring for him posed as a cover gf and a friend as part of her mission but at the end when she realizes that her memories were erased and she is back to how she was 5 years ago and there is no mission bartowski so she doesn't need to pose around him as a friend so she is acting all logical and spyish driven by revenge wants to kill quinn and thinks emotions and knowing about her past life will jeopardize herself . She cant accept herself being a family woman because she thinks that its not for her because those were the things that happened to her slowly so shows resistance but when she starts to get to know chuck she begans to realize it why she would have married him she believes that what chuck told is true but she doesnt trust anyone to let know what she's feeling etc (she decided to dissappear forever initially but at the end she says she needs time to find herself. to be alone for a while and think about starting over and even after that she doesn't leave the city and finds her way thru her heart to their spot on beach showing that even w/o memories she remembered the place were she bonded with him) when chuck tells her to trust him (like once he did) and he just wants to be there for her no matter what she decides because he didn't want to pressure into doing anything she didn't want to he just wanted to be there for her thats when she breaks down realizing how much he loves her and she feels his pain she opens up to him asks him about their story..she realizes her association with chuck is strong even w/o memories and he is the only ine around which they triggered... within a span of 2 epis (or 2weeks for the show timeline) she is much more like herself after hearing their story she likes what she had become, did the memories come back that wasnt imp but did she stay with chuck that was because staying with chuck was what would help her remember and she showed signs of it
@P The Spidey I would have excepted it more if it wasn't the final episode. The issue was that they ended the entire show that way, on a cliffhanger basically. Kind of a messed up way to end your show. Fringe got it right. They were unsure if they would get a season 5 so they made sure to close out their series with the most important relationship fully intact
September: The Real MVP 😂😭❤️
By far, my favourite ever Fringe ending. The way they both smile at each other. Brings a smile to the face and a tear to the eye.
Oh my god!! I scream when september tells peter that he's been home all along and that this was his Olivia!!!! It was about time Peter understand, Love the ending!!! :D
September is Saying what I've thought the whole time watching the first episodes of season 4: The two people who love him most are the ones he appears to. On some level Walter and Olivia did recognize him. They just weren't aware of that.
Best Scene in Fringe. The first time I watched Fringe, I was annoyed it took this long from the season 2 finale to put them together finally, especially after they got together at the end of season 3 and then like 3 episodes later he's erased. But, now, after watching it a literal 10 full times through, this is the exact perfect timing.
#bestgoddamnshowinthehistoryoftelevision
Just love this! "And Olivia?" "She is your Olivia" And he waits for her then they run into each other's arms...........................AHHHHHHH - GREAT! Thank you September :)
September being like: "Go get her, bro!"
September already knows what he's gonna say, but he lets him say it anyway.
😭
2021 and this scene still makes me cry
The music. The soundtrack, that beautiful sounds they put behind the scene is what make us feel it.
One of my favorite scenes, if not my favorite from Fringe. Always brings happy tears.
Just watched all of Fringe again during the quarantine. There are many great moments in the series, but this is probably my favorite. You learn in season 5 that he and the other 11 scientists were not told of their true mission, but developed emotions in proximity to their era. When September says "They locked me out," it became clear that it was September's home as much as Peter's. Neither one of them belonged in that universe, but they became attached to it because of love.
I also love the look of determination as he puts on his fedora, because everything he did after this moment was to ensure Walter could save their universe from the Observers.
I love this show.
I'm rewatching the show too. Although September is written to be a sympathetic character, him and his whole species are actually just trying to harvest this universe. Saving Peter and everything September did was just so that he could make sure the universe survives so that he could harvest it.
This is so beautiful, one of the only scenes in any tv show that made me cry! I love and will always remember you Fringe
This scene is so heartwarming !! Loved it
September never had a bad scene.
"I believe you call it, Love."
"And Olivia?"
😂😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️ PETER
I can't explain to you how much I love that she was his first thought
OK...i’m a dude...and I very well may loose my ManCard for this.....but that episode was just perfect. From the Fringe investigation to the segments on Peter and Olivia. You know Peter didn’t want to make the mistake of betraying Olivia again by not knowing being able to distinguish his Olivia from F’Olivia...F’Olivia=Fake Olivia....LOL...classic!!!!
So glad I’m a fan of this show!!!!
Best scene of the series..Loved it..Fuck*ng perfect..
Thank you, Fringe. For being a candle, being a warm and hopeful light, lighting my way 😊❤️
One of my favorite Fringe moments! 🥰
I love it so much when he says it cannot be scientificly explained
This scene always brings me to tears
I swear to God this is one of the most wholesome feels-evoking heartwarming deep shows I ever done seen you guys like this is not a game this is real life 😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love
It
Sooo
Much
So, if we care about September and don't let him go, he will no desapear. Nice.
Miss you sweet September.
My favorite scene. Thank you
How awesome was this scene!!!!
The spin and kiss was a perfect ending, no surprises no twist just Happiness!!!!!
THIS IS WHY HE SAID "I've come to believe Home Is Where The Heart Is" 😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️
Just Lovely and lovely !!
Chills everytime
So corny and yet so awesome. One of my favorite scenes in the series. And September is a total badass, as always.
I can't help but laugh giggle squee cry every time I watch this scene 😊😊😊😊
I'm glad it wasn't something overly scientific that explained why Peter was already home...it was something unique to humans...it was just about love...
Maybe I'm just cheesy, but I was happy :)
I love how the observers play off of saving "important" people and are supposed to have "historical scientific objectivity," but they learn and we are reminded that people, fully ordinary, can be and are so, and are the most special, most extraordinary people to *us*, in all the world.
😊
i love the music too.
It was beautiful! Really beautiful.
Show is a goddamn masterpiece
😊😊😊😊
2:50 That faint hint of smile on September's face just KILLS ME AAAAAAA
3:00 SOOOOO WELL PERFORMED BY JOSHUA JACKSON TOO 😂 CRYING
Faith in humanity restored lol
September: The Real MVP
So simple, so beautiful. POlivia is everything, their connection and love exist in every timelines and universes and September is the shipper who ends all the shippers in the multiverse.
This scene reminded me so much of Lost, and thats a good thing. Glad to see Fringe finally wearing its heart on its sleeve like Lost did throughout its run.
3:40. It took 15 episodes to hear the actual Peter/Olivia theme again. It had been an inverted version all season up til this point
He even uses it as late as 2:25 in this very clip
This show is my whole heart
Thaaank you! That’s all I needed to know. ☺️☺️
Finding and protecting and loving Olivia
OMG!!!! Thanks for uploading so fast!!!! Its a fantastic scene!!!!
The BGM is so beautiful...
This scene is so emotional I can't stop myself from crying...
Polivia
When you need a show to keep you warm
And yes, I swear to God, a LOT when it comes to this group of individuals 😂😭❤️
#WorthIt
One fucking great show! It is missed big time.
"Hello Peter. They locked me out because shipping is expressly forbidden in my society. Anyway. Don't let this be for nothing. Seeya, champ."
A fedora has never looked more awesome.
I love this monologue so much
Omg, idk why i cry at the end. Probably because it's so beautiful and they finally reunited. Love the reunion/ending. Perfect. :')
Can’t say this enough, but this scene is perfect. 😊😊😊
I love that she found him. 😊❤️
The music and everything 😊😊
they merely confirmed what i know all of season 4 episodes before this that he was in the right world everyone had merely forgotten him but she regained those memories which was nice but wish it hadn't taken till episode 15 for them to be together again
This scene is amazing! my favorite from season 4 ! So sweet scene
I wonder everyday if I were on Peter's place, if someone would love enough not to let me go
CRYING
This reunion is perfect. It's like in the good old movies ;) I love it!!
THANK YOU
There goes my shipper heart... floating away, light and happy...
I LOVE THIS SENCE!!!
He's all like ''Go get her champ.''
September is such a shipper 😊😭❤️
His Olivia--and Our, Olivia. 😊😊😊
I love how in determinism Olivia and Fauxlivia are only different people because of their vast different experiences but in reality they both have souls and are their own people
You should be thanking fox. The could of cancelled the show after season 3. They gave us another 30+ episodes
True....i believe it was great to have it till 5 seasons.... They gave 5 seasons although s5 was short but made sense because in s5 had a time jump since they had a kid when observers attacked so they knew who the enemies were ...as a fan i would have liked 10 seasons but it would have made the show go down its good they wrapped up the story with the observers who were a mystery since s1
We won't let You go, September
Best clip ever
LOVE. EVERY. SECOND. 😊😊😊😊😊
Oh god i really really love the final scene, no matter whs at happen Peter and Liv always find each other
BAM! I'm crying :)
I love that even though this is a Peter centric episode you can feel Olivia and Walter and even Astrid all throughout - the whole family
RIP Lincoln
I still feel bad for Lincoln
But he got what he deserved, too 😊😊❤️
Peter crossed an universe to be with Olivia. Lincoln just waited for her half hour in a bar where he was going to be drinking anyway.
Well at least he got the other Olivia lol
the soundtrack remember's me Lost..... Awesome episode
the best scene
"Care," in the present tense.
😢
And i´m so happy because September is alive.
BEST GODDAMNED SHOW
IN THE HISTORY OF TELEVISION
XD
Aaaaaa, Fringe. 😊😊😊
What do we owe to each other, indeed
i cried.
Best scene ever...
Magic. 😊
i love this scene!!! I LOVE Peter and I'm glad it is finally his Olivia and they are back together again!!!
Best monologue ever 😊😊😊
This sounded a lot like Lost in the end. Love it!
I loved september charcter
They found a use for the weird diggy thing! 😊❤️
P.S. Not surprised, but impressed - that they remembered it
"wHAt wOuLd i fEeL" XD Olivia I love you both slash all so much
Had exactly zero people fooled with that line lol
Somebody asked in another video like "who's chopping onions in 2018" and I was like "THIS BENCH 😭😭😭😭❤️"
So true
