That little smile she gets when he says he betrayed the Olivia he loves is priceless. She knew she was the right Olivia. She could feel it because she had the memories of having been betrayed. I also think that's why she was so patient. She understood what he had gone through last time and probably appreciated that he wasn't just excepting the first Olivia that comes along.
I love so much how Peter is embarrassed when Olivia says they would go back to one of each other's houses. This is such a natural reaction, there is so much intimacy and vulnerability in it. JJ is just great!
I love how in these peak emotional scenes, Anna’s Australian accent peaks out just a little. 😊❤️
One of the best Olivia Peter scenes in the whole show. And a bunch more are as well in this episode. Beautifully acted here by Anna torv and Josh Jackson
Underrated show, ahead of its time. really wish they could have made one or two more seasons.

from my point of view the timeline is like a VHS tape, and the amber timeline was recorded over the top of the blue timeline, but it left a magnetic imprint that started "bleeding through"
throw in "the power of love" and a little cortexaphan and BAM, Olivia and Peter back together.

For some reason getting her memories back seems to have strengthened her bond and given her confidence that she didn't have in season 3
Man I love this scene one of the best Olivia Peter scenes get the Blu ray you all if you can looks awesome on Blu ray and If I remember that animation episode was where Olivia really overcame her fear she had of certain things and to move forward that's where I think she was showing confidence. I feel you saw that toward the end of season 3.
@lee parsons Maybe, but her being this sure and unafraid, that's something that has changed. What i mean is, since she got the memories back, and by this point also has the memories of the new timeline, she knows what it's like to have love and not have love at the same time. It's strengthened her desire to want it back
That's true.i was watching episode 1 season 4 and she said to Lincoln I know what it feels like to have that hole in your life that something is missing is what she was trying to say of course that something was Peter
@lee parsons I always felt like in this new timeline she had a feeling about Peter. But like Peter said, she looks at him as of she's afraid. Of course she was afraid, she had this connection to do this dude she didn't know. But the very fact that she seemed to be the only Olivia who wasn't the least bit interested in Peter tells me she was intentionally keeping him at arms length because she felt the feelings even then. Those feelings are what brought him back according to the observer, so they had to be there, she was just pretending until the memories came back.
@@ryanabate1981 that's what my thoughts on all that was as well!yes September said those that love and care about you could not let you go I think you call it love At the end of season 3 when Olivia said I love you to Peter and Walters love for him iv always said it's that powerful love Force that drew him back and Olivia abilities powers that brought him back as well. I really believe once Peter was back Olivia and her powers went bonkers just being close to him even without cortexifan her powers come out. Love activates them too. And little by little every episode goes on she starts the transformation back to are Olivia. Really by a better human being she was back to being the original timeline Olivia but this new timeline Olivia memories were fading a lot. Was about Nina she remembers some things cause Olivia is empathetic so that was one of the reasons
I don't understand how people think he's in the wrong timeline. lol Their memories of Peter and everything his presence affected was erased in the season 3 finale. So this is his timeline, just re-written. I just don't get how Olivia is getting her memories back...It's so confusing! Jeezusss!
In the end Peter was right, she is our Olivia :)

well this is just fucking cute but how am I supposed to find a guy like peter and then be a fucking cute couple just like these two? ...Beside the fact that my life is completely boring in comparison to theirs but anyways, this show totally ruins my expectations in the matter of relationships and shit! :D

@KawaiiPanda8D I agree with you. Especially about Olivia's feelings for Peter. It seems like this Olivia achieved harmony with herself. She is more open and self-confident.
It's amazing to me that Pacey from Dawsons Creek could play such a good TV SciFi/Thriller lead. But after Fringe, Josh for me stopped being Pacey from Dawsons Creek and became Peter from Fringe.

it was pretty obvious there was no other timeline to go back to, he was "deleted" from this one, so yeah, I knew he'd never wind up back in the blue timeline, unless he planned on building a time machine and re-saving himself as a boy, and that would be just plain silly.

@nixer42 It is Peter's "served purpose" and the intervention of the Observers that changed this, but only slightly. It may simply have been a reset on the part of the writers unwilling to deal with the "loose end" of Peter's son or there may be some larger plan on how to use this. At this time I'm not sure what they're planning. Which is kind of nice.

@NeitherHerexNorThere But now we're getting existential, my friend - if the only difference between this time line and ours is the life of Peter Bishop than how is that Olivia gaining the memories from the influence of Peter's life any different from our Olivia? Personally I think her love + cortexiphan has allowed her to pierce the veil of the Space/Time continuum to Peter's (our) timeline. In that sense she is 100% our Olivia.

@alvly1 An interesting idea, but Fringe veers away from anything so "challenging" (at the expense of consistency, time after time). While it is true that the general sci-fi theory of "alternate universes" follows from quantum mechanics and the philosophy of free will, and therefore any new universe *is* simply a new time-line (and these should be infinite), it has been firmly established within Fringe that we only interact with one alternate universe.

Artemisss1 it's Liv, but that present was different cause Peter wasn't supposed to exist in that universe, but he somehow came back & Olivia got her memories back

Altliv has brown hair with her bangs just above her eye brows and you can tell another way on how she dressed and drinks! The REAL Olivia like the one in this one, drinks very fast and s lot xD, the alt does not
