Sambora's electric guitar solo n Tico's drum solo were out of this world. Richie shredded his guitar n Tico blasted his drums. Jon was really lucky to have them in his band. Wish I was there in the 80s to see them LIVE.
I loved the competition between Jon's and Richie's fans during "Let it Rock". It was so much fun to watch :-D
Bon jovi is the best band in the world, love them forever 👍👍👍
My first concert, Joe Louis Arena with my two best friends and my late father, who somehow managed to fall asleep.
He has gotten a lot better as a singer and performer... He's all over the place on this first song...
Yup. Saw him May 1st in Providence,R.I. on this tour. Cinderella opened. He was lagging on the first tune here. Wish someone had the show I went to,here on youtube.
David fantastico, Jon stratosferico
Me and My Best friend Cheri were there that night at this show in detroit.. Main Floor.. Best Show EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
He was only 25 here...Lots of energy. I'll be seeing him on his birthday next year, here in Florida...He'll be 51 and still rockin'!
Thx for this, man!! I was there with my dad it was my 1st concert.. RIP dad.. It was a great show!
Wow I could have written the exact same comment! Every last thing!
I was there!!! Damn what a showman he is!!
I was there. Great
I don't have my ticket stub that I know of but I was there. First time I searched. I got a free ticket and hotel room for driving a friend and her sister who were both scared to drive in Detroit. I lived in Ohio then. WOW what a blast from the past! I was almost 27 then.
Saw them with Cinderella in Portland Oregon that same year. WOW, what a SHOW. Bon Jovi and Cinderella KILLED IT
Saw this in Providence, RI! Was either going to this show or The Who at Foxboro, MA. No brainer here! 80s were the best!
Saw this tour as well! Cinderella opened at the old Omni in Atlanta! Such a killer show! I was a freshman in High school lol
@@sccub4chubs I was a freshman in high school as well.
Me and my BFF was at this show and I won tix to the second night. Bon Jovi & Skid Row Killed it.
Skid row did not exist at this point dumb ass
I wish he was this energetic now
Amazing concert. Thanks for posting. All 5 of them were at their peak ❤
First concert I ever saw... Thank you for this
Quantas saudades dessa época...
Thanks for posting. Brings back a ton of memories. Saw this tour a couple times in Chicago. Was at the show in Chicago at the UIC Pavillion when they filmed the Wanted Dead or Alive music video. When JBJ flew over the crowd on to the small stage, he sang 'Silent Night' off of 7800. Next time around they played at the Rosemont Horizon a few months later. This really is cool to see again.
I was at those Chicago shows as well, both of them, what memories. I wish i could find some footage from this shows.
Band unica al mondo
Folks were always ragging me for liking Bon Jovi, as many people had thought that they were posers! I never really understood that, as they were legitimate songwriters. For them to still be big...ginormous, actually, here in 2023, isn't exactly because they were immature or negligible writers! Take it all around, even younger, I was never impressionable, and just don't recall looking up to dudes older than me , in order to change my mind! The fact of the matter was, that I just didn't give a flying shit! If I liked something, and stood alone while doing so, I figured that there were worse things, you know? I loved their music, as well as their look!
I was there!!!
6 fila!!!!!!!
My BON BON JOVI!!! 😎❤️😎❤️

AC/DC concert 1983 joe louis arena BON JOVI 1987
I have the incomplete video of AC/DC in Detroit 1983, I already shared it on UA-cam, and they just blocked my video and I already disputed it.
Why they did not open up with let it rock still angers me
signed in under my sons acct.. whoops!!!
Richie's vocals are higher than Jon's even tho Jon is a tenor and Richie is a baritone
Well at this point you can already hear John shredding the shit out of his vocals...... That constant tour, album, tour, album cycle the bands were on back then was pretty brutal. Not to mention the years they spent hashing it out in bars before breaking it. Lack of in-ear monitoring technology teamed with an audience you can barely hear yourself over and it spells trouble for any vocalist. But yeah, Richie's voice has held up a bit better over the years. Helps when you don't have to carry the lead vocal weight though.
Hooper Crookedtrip Chen Levin higher doesn't mean better, to me his vocals are high and screechy, lack dynamics, the ability to sing softly then belt it out, you need depth to convey emotion which Jon does in bucket loads. Hence why jons solo stuff was no. 1 and Richie's wasn't.
You have no idea about music man....
@@melclibra you contradicted yourself. While I agree that a great singer doesn't always have a very large range (take Frank Sinatra as an example), I wasn't saying anything about Richie being a great singer. I just said he sings higher than Jon even tho he's a baritone and Jon's a tenor. That is because Richie's technique is better that Jon's. Jon can sing with that FEEL tho.
@@bjfanrunawayalways9602 I wasn't saying higher means better. I just pointed out a fact.
wow a Bon Jovi concert where the fans sing the chorus to "bad name" and not the singer. The stupid shit never ends
