  • In this video I go on a tinny camping trip on the Tweed River, NSW. It is the first time I have been on the Tweed River so I cruise around trying a heap of different fishing spots and end up catching a couple of flathead.

    Good start to my Sunday morning. Woke up and here is another adventure with you mate. Great content simply because it shows the reality . You win some and other days it’s relaxing time out on the water and camping.
    As much as I enjoy seeing what’s on offer up north i appreciate seeing how to tackle things at our door step plus the simplicity 👍

    Ever since the boarder closure haven’t been there. Beautiful place to fish always hook on. But we always catch and release to keep the numbers up

      @@AusAdventure I changed it a couple of months ago. A local radio station wanted to interview me about my rock pool videos which was a bit of a buzz for me. Long story short, my old channel name was confusing for some and needed to change. Had to pick an uncommon name. Not sure if I really like the new one but probably shouldn’t keep changing it. Hope all is ok up there mate with the floods. 😃👍

    Gday legend, Im moving round the tweed area soon. Can I ask what’s the go with camping on tweed river did you have to pay camping fee or anything or did you Just go far down river, I’m keen as to do what your doing but I don’t wanna rock up to a spot and water rats tell me to knick off. Ps keep the content coming 🙌

      Cheers mate. I actually saw the tweed water police while I was there and they had no problem with me camping where I did. The council may be a different story though. You might want to do some research online to find out more. Thanks for watching the vid.

    Once again another mint video...... best part is the simplicity of your adventures... and u show the content a lot of other don’t show yeah..... it’s great to land big awesome rod bending fish, but the reality of it is they made 1000 casts to get that fish and only show that... keep up the awesome work.       Thanks Brice and yes I am always worried about the boat getting pinched especially if I’m in a busy area. If I’m really paranoid I will just sleep in the boat. Otherwise I taken as much out of it as I can.

    Hahaha. You had the same shit weekend that i had last week around peel island. Got bitten off about ten times, no fish all day then lost the bloody anchor overboard. Bolt came out of the shackle that was attached to the rope. So you are not the shitiest fisho on the Goldie. I am in the club too mate.

    Nevertheless, it's still a great weekend escape. If there's some sandbanks in the area perhaps try for some whiting? Would have been good to see that firepit/stove last more than once haha!

    I see you run a Honda outboard, a question, how do you flush your motor after Saltwater use. Just curious.

      I use the flushing ears and the garden hose. You can see it at the end of my outboard motor serving video if you like. 👍

    Ya definitely don't need the bling...our 3.7 + Trailer and new outboard only cost me $1,300 LOL. I made an enclosed fire pit/BBQ from an old 9.5 gas bottle way big enough for me and the missus to cook up a feed and keep warm but we sit a bit closer to it.

      @@AusAdventure Yeah mate there are a few coves and islands you can stay on i do overnighters there quite often and the fishing is fantastic , 4 days ago i went out and caught 5 big bream in the late arvo the biggest was 48 cm and weighed 2 kg then that night caught a 102 cm Jewfish . 👍✌️

      @@AusAdventure The best tinny camping and fishing i have found is at a little place called * Farquhar Inlet * its at manning point NSW about 1 hr south of Port Macquarie the fishing is HOT have lots of pics to confirm it too . Lol 👌👍

      Ok so it doesn’t have a weight stamped on it. But the shank is 48cm long and it’s 36 cm wide down the bottom at it’s widest point. I’m sure the sales person at your local chandlery would be able to recommend one for your boat. 👍
