    Thank you. been looking for a video like this forever. I'm planning on starting my son's locs who also has less than two inches. I'm even planning to do the same method with the crotchet needle bc it will stay verses the twist or coil that I probably wouldn't be able to make. He's also autistic so any touching to his head is pretty much a "NO" . But he had locs before and it was just easier for me to manage (when I could) since he wouldn't let me maintain them as much. THanks again!

    Cutting mine soon! The set I have in was coils and I dyed and bleached her. I want a new set and also wanna start with two strands! I’m gonna cut my new growth and then box braid it up for the summer. And start my two strands in the colder months.

    I started my journey a week ago with 33 locs and just need help please your set is amazing. If I wait 2 months to retwist but wash in month will they unravel badly? I have 2 strand twist. Also should I separate after washes or will that mess up parts and how do I prevent flat locs? Anyways love your channel. Shit is fire fr

    • @JA.KARI.A
      @JA.KARI.A  2 роки тому +4

      Sorry but the only thing I can really give you advice on is who to prevent flat locs. It’s not a big problem for me but I just spray water on them. They will fluff back out. Everything else is very much a “go with the flow” kinda thing for me, so I’m not quite sure on what to tell you. But thanks!!

    Can locs be taken down without cutting my hair?

    • @stcolie
      @stcolie Рік тому

      Yes they can! You would need to really saturate your hair and put lots of conditioner to comb them out

    Ima guy & want mines thick like this do you think it would look too feminine or is it all just depending on the pattern of the parts?

    • @JA.KARI.A
      @JA.KARI.A  2 роки тому +9

      It doesn't matter about the pattern or the parts... locs are locs.... they can't make a guy look feminine or a woman look masculine, in my opinion. Go for it and don't worry about the unnecessary stuff, just do you.

      @@JA.KARI.A ok thnks i just cut off some that ive had for 5 years & i miss them but my hair is still long enough to go ahead & start this so im gonna do it…the bigger the part the thicker they’ll be right?

    • @JA.KARI.A
      @JA.KARI.A  2 роки тому

      yeah that's true but if your hair in finer/thinner than mine, the size of the locs will be different even if we have the same size parts
