Get the Kids Outdoors: Muzzleloader 2017 | First Deer Attempt

Been trying to get my boy on his first deer the last three years and we came the closest we've ever been. Had this button buck, which I thought was a little doe, walk out at sunset. My boy was too nervous and couldn't get a shot out in time. Better luck next time.

"I had her"!!! Um....no you didn't. If he had that much trouble finding it in the scope, then more practice time is needed before another trip to the woods happens. He literally gave you a broadside perfect shot for at least 30 seconds which is an eternity. Get those nerves under control and better luck next time.
