  • This is the first part of repairing the astra back to its former glory. Took longer then we planned to get the video out , life has been busy.
Ripping the interior out of the car. took a lot more then I thought with a few mistakes along the way, proving we are all only human.
comment if you have ever made a mistake that you can laugh about now
all I can say is it doesn't matter what car you have or how big the engine, if you love that car you can do anything to keep it going. proof is defiantly in the pudding as we have worked so hard to get the car back into a state where it can be used again.
Please go easy on the editing of this video as well as the quality we are only just starting out on UA-cam with videos, it just means a lot to get our story out there for all of you.
please if you like what you see feel free to sub, like or share the video or channel, it all helps so much. takes a lot of work for us as we have a lot to do IRL on top of sorting these videos out.

We believe it was the body shop that left the rear window open. Since we have dried the car out and used it a little no water seems to be getting in ( hopefully )
Keep us updated on what you find.

Ive a astra j 2012 estate, thats struggling to go up steep hills ( i live rural ) basically using 2 nd gear going up the hills, losing power in 3rd/4th uphill, drives ok on flat roads, bought it a week ago, hoping it just needs a major service ( fuel filter etc) any ideas if it still doesnt work after a service , cheers 👍

Hey thanks for the comment. What size engine is it in?
Hopefully changing the fuel filter could help. Other ideas could be if it’s diesel. Possible injectors but that would normally show all the time not just uphill
If it’s petrol could definitely be coil pack and spark plugs we’ve had that issue a couple of times
