your face when Tom said "instant noodle" 🤣 y'all are so funny and cute!
😂😂
Someone needs to make a compilation of Tom burns in reaction to outfits/hairdos/looks etc 😂
I need to correct myself on one part because I misunderstood and got it wrong. For the rice water fermentation process it does lower the PH level (making it more acidic not less). Hair is naturally somewhat acidic (PH4.5-5.5) to keep things like bacteria and fungi away so haircare products that are a little acidic are beneficial (it tightens the cuticle/pore and therefore adds shine). If it’s more alkaline the cuticle expands and you get moisture loss (hair will become more dry).
When fermenting the fruit, should it be refrigerated?
Love the content Taylor, your so beautiful
One of my faves on youtube 😍❤
OMG when Tom asked “what are you doing here” and you said “I’m spraying my hair with beer” I laughed so much.
Me too. His reaction funny 😂😅
Taylor’s videos are always so well researched. She’s hitting us with the cultural references, the science and personal trials. I appreciate that!
I appreciate you letting me know 🥰 you just made my day!
In Greece we use socks to give ourselves 50’s style curls but I’ve never seen the criss cross curls! Gonna try that now !!
Έλα ρε πατρίδα ❤️
Omg how?
I’ve wanted to try the rice water one for sooooo long and I think this is my sign 😤😤
You should try it, I heard the black rice works better but first try the white rice. Good luck 🍀✌️
DO IT LIKE IT WORKS WONDERS!!!!!!!
It's amazing I did it for a month and I saw improvement
Your face when tom said instant noodle 😂😂 the betrayal
As a kid my grandma was crazy of the child movie star Shirley Temple so on Saturday my hair was washed curling tools put in and coated with beer and she gave me a fabric shower cap. Sunday morning she pulled out the curlers and i had small pipe curls she putted in ribbons and my Sunday dress and of we went to church. Only i was a big rascal and she had to keep me close because before she knew i was in a tree. My grandpa before he died made copies of Shirley Temple her dresses.
taylors hair do be hair goals tho
Omg love the sock criss cross one, the curls look the best!! Can’t wait to have a few hours to try them soon 😚
Hair stylist says THANK YOU. Number one is nutrition❤❤❤ hacks can be a cosmetic fix but inside matters more ❤❤❤❤
You gotta try an Apple cider vinegar rinse!! You mix a couple tablespoons of ACV with hot water in the shower in a big jar/vase and then pour it over ur hair and wait a few minutes before rinsing! Makes my hair super shiny and soft! I always have a good hair day after! 🤓💕💖
Going to try that. Thanks
TRUE
It's also really good for coloured hair, just I've always used it with cold water personally!
Yes! It’s also very good for sensitive scalp! When I have eczema flare up, dandruff or itchy scalp, I use ACV rinse and it helps my skin to calm down 😭
I do this too
Giiiirrrlllll the CLAW CLIPS!! Legit, I'm so excited that they're back!!
My grandpa washes his hair with homemade beer twice a week, he still has a full head of hair at almost 85 and I'm not sure if it is related to him doing this for like 20+ years but it is always soft and smooth haha
I need to add this case to my study 🧐 that’s really cool
@@Taylor_R Omg hello!!! Yes he does a shampoo, followed by a beer rinse, then a water rinse! Love you Tay been watching for years!! :D
Does it leave a smell?
Girl I appreciate the editing time and technique that's been spent on this video. Your work just keeps improving.
Thank you for this vid, Taylor. I'm dealing with postpartum hair loss right now and feeling pretty self-conscious. Can't wait to try these!
I'm older+ and I take Biotene it has really changed my thin hair. It has become a lot thicker and has actually grown for the first time in 30 years.
How long until you noticed the difference?
im preparing myself for the stares im gonna get from my family when i try these out lol
I've used the rice water and haven't had anything but good results. You have to rinse your hair for seven minutes and the rice water can be reused until it gets funky. Phenomenal hair growth!
Rosemary is also good either cooked in water or warmed in oil. Rosemary is very powerful and will cause hair growth all over your body.
Just be prepared for that! 😂
I really appreciate all the scientific and cultural research you do for your videos! I think hack 7 definitely looked the best!
Thank you 😊🙏🏻
So many great tips & hacks in this video!!
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS thank youuuuu! So excited to try these hacks :D
These heatless curls are so surprising! tried some of them myself and it's so amazing 🙌😍 love your content Taylor, can't wait to see more each time x
Excited for this! Missed you
Aahh Taylor!!! Seeing your videos in the morning are always the best way to start the day! Thank youu!
Good morning!! ☕️❤️ Goodnight to me haha (it’s midnight in Hong Kong)
I love rice water! I saw it being used in a Chinese “period” drama for skin and I started looking into it. The rice water toner from the brand “im from” (k-beauty brand) is my fav. Loved this video Tay! 🥰 I love how informative you are at the same time having fun! Between this and the skincare video you are my go-to girl for beauty and fashion.
I’ve been doing the heartless robe tie curl method since I saw you did it on Instagram! It’s super easy and really works ❤️ I’ve been loving my hair thanks to this method! Thank you Taylor ❤️❤️❤️
I just love the presentation and cuts of this video! So quirky and very informative. Gonna try the sock bun and crisscross one! 💯
I have shoulder length hair but I'm excited to try this. I usually do the braid method to get waves but these curls look cute!
I have been having such a bad time lately. I ALWAYS enjoy your videos. Thanks Tay
Just tried the ponytail one as I finished the video and it blows my mind! As someone that has natural curls and gets headaches from elastics this is so handy!
☺️👍✨
I'm so hyped!!! I will test them all😚
Your hair look super healthy Tay!!!! I also love this dark brown on you!!
Thank you ❤️❤️
You look so cute with wavy hair and also you look sooo happy here. It's great to see you smiling !!
taylor i really appreciate you for doing the rice water the traditional way after doing in depth research from what you saw on TikTok!
I love your videos, Taylor -- you are not just pretty, you are kind, funny, enjoyable -- everything! 😊
Thank you so much for this video! I'm going to try a few things you've suggested to help with my scalp & hair. ✨❤️ Love from Canada
omg the mean girls reference in the beginning had me screaming!! 💕😂
Feeling like a queen with an old sock in your hair... I love it! 😂 It honestly looks so good though so I don't blame you ♥️
I really saw results in the rice water method.. definitely going to try once a month too
This loooks amazingg!!!
Love you so much Taylor!!!
Your make-up looks gorgeous in this Taytay! Would love to see another chatty video where you could show us how to get the look. Hugs and kisses from the UK! xx
yay new tay vid as a cherry on top of my week
Have a great week ahead! 🥰🥰
I've been using Viori, a shampoo bar formulated based on the Yao women's concoction! Highly recommend it, leaves my hair so soft and shiny!
The sock crisscross is really the best one! I love it. ♥♥♥
OMG I can't wait to try some of these
Ive been using the sock method for years...love it...
Definitely trying the rice water hack✨
very cool hair hacks thank you for showing them to me take care Taylor ...stay safe....
I need to try the last curling method!! It looks so good
Can't wait to try some of these! Now have something to do on this lazy rainy Sunday :)
Just want to say hi and thank you for your videos! You're making amazingly fun content.
Hiii 😊😊Thank you so much ❤️
I love Tom’s off camera comments! 😂 Thanks for including them
I love the curling method! Been trying it out since you posted on instagram, I love it...works for me as well
Which method do you like best? 🤔
The robe tie made my curls bouncy and suited my hair wonderfully
Taylor, you can do the criss-cross wrapping of the hair with the bathrobe tie method and then it's also comfortable to sleep in. I do it all the time and wake up looking glamourous.
Okay but I’m seriously excited about the ponytail hack!
Wow Taylor, I love your natural hair so so much! You look gorgeous 🤩
😍😍😍so easy, Thank you 😊
Love you Taylor!
I'm going to try the robe tie method tonight! I was hoping you'd post this video after I saw it on your IG!!
Oh I love this so much 👏🏻☺️
loved the structure of this video! the way narrator Tay came in at times felt like i was watching a play :)
These are so neat! I tend to just sleep in 2 french braids the next morning bam curls!
I do the robe tie with the sock criss cross technique best of both 💕
It makes me laugh that Tom still gets surprised by anything he sees you do LOL 😂
OMG the ponytail hack at the very end!! I didn't think it would work but it's holding right now and I have very straight hair!
😊👍✨
i tried robe curls and it worked great!
This video just saved me $25 on some heatless tools for curls I had on my shopping cart, the socks hack literally gives the same result and I’ve got plenty of them!
Oh yay!! ❤️😆
Claw clip is true! I have work one for years now - my hair is luscious and silky it is one that I know works from personal experience I wear one daily
Is it just me or is Taylor's voice so relaxing? Your voice is comforting and calming. Great information, I wish I had time to do them.
Aww thank you ❤️

Taylor help!! How do I keep from bruising my face when I use my blackhead sucker?
My hair is quite thick and definitely more "coarse" compared to yours, but I find personally the robe tie method words perfectly for me! I tie it a bit looser, and due to the thickness, I usually end up with wavy curls. My only complaint about the heatless methods is that sometimes they leave my hair a bit frizzy (and it's a pain in the butt to sleep with on!! 😅).
On a side note, I am loving this hair color on you and this makeup look! 😊
Those sock curls!! I know what I'm doing today
honestly from the insta stories I had guessed this vid was on the way! Woo
😆❤️
To get around the discomfort of sleeping in the last method with the 4 socks, I wonder if, instead of using bobby pins, you used alligator clips to temporarily hold the sock in place until your hair is wrapped around it, then took out the alligator clips, if the hair would keep the sock in place.
Omg wow that #7 method is so good!! I can't believe you did it in just 3 hours, wow! I want to try now 🤓
The editing of the rice water making time and the explanations that you give remind me of Beakman's World 🤣 I already have curly hair, but I watched to the end because I was mesmerised.
Btw your hair looks so beautiful in this lenght!
I'm late but lol I just did a heatless curl/wave hair method before I sleep and I'm watching this video. I tried doing braids before and leaving it overnight. It was ok but there's less volume. Now I just started trying another method which is split my hair into 2 sections(left and right), tie 1 side of hair. Take the other side of hair and keep twisting until it becomes a bun at the top. Make sure u twist it tightly. Tie the bun with 2 hair ties then do the same with the other side. Leave it overnight and when I take the hair ties out next morning, it gives more volume and waves. Although it only lasts a short while for me probably cuz I didn't spray water or anything but I just do it for fun sometimes.
Wow! This video turned to be encyclopedia level informative!
I'm way too early here 😅 luv u, Taylor ✨
The elastic-less pony !❣!❣
Mind 🤯🤯
Your hair is so beautiful ❤️
The first one looks like how my hair sits naturally when it air dries and I actually do everything I can to stop it doing that lol. But it looks so much better on you!
I need to try all of thesseeeeee💕💕💕
i love the ponytail thing in the end oo my hair is a bit too short and heavy for it to hold as of now but it blew my mind it works perfectly fine if u want to create a somewhat lose relaxed look!
Yup! 😍
The amount of information here would make Brad Mondo proud
Rice water grew my hair! Also love the curls they look soo good , I use to use bendy straws over night but that was so uncomfortable so I’ll Def be trying these more comfortable hacks 😄
Taylor on the sock-pin method: I don't recommend sleeping with this, it doesn't seem like it would be comfortable.
Black women: *laughs/sighs/cries in curlers, bobby pins, culformers, spoolies, flexirods, etc.*
Thank you for all the amazing secrets
I'm a man.
I have short hair.
I really enjoyed the hacks, thank you, I will pass them on to my closest long-haired people :'D
I really enjoy your videos, your sunny and bright disposition is always appreciated! Lots of love from France!
Haha, Tom is such a gem! "It's like those... instant noodles" I totally lost it, there's just nothing like casual male ignorance towards hair styles :'D
having straight hair seems so fun omg..
Oooh wanna try the rice water so bad 🤩 always looking for natural products to put on my hair/skin ! I personally put coconut oil on my hair especially on the ends just before washing it to have a bit less frizz (I have wavy hair that frizz A LOT) and it quite work, my waves/curls seem also more defined !
Thanks for sharing those hacks 🧡 sending love from France !
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous curly. My favorite was definitely the robe method but understand that it isn't comfortable to sleep with.. I would love to see you do some of the egg or mayo hair treatments. I heard they are really good for your hair.
12:00 I love how Rosie is just a puddle on your bed 😆
Hey hey it's TayTay day it's Tay Tay day today
watching this even tho I'm black with kinky hair lol
I had to put my hair up with a big clip as soon as I saw this lol I have really really long hair and wearing it up can give me awful headaches so the big clip hack was just what I needed!!!
This is a great video Taylor! I personally prefer listening to you walk us through it than having to super-speedily take notes from your stories! (don't have tictok)
Definitely will be trying the heatless curls however I have extremely thick hair so I might have to use a few extra socks.
Good to know! I’ll try to make more talks through like this or put longer forms in vlogs 😊
