Sounds more like a Dinner cruise, we just returned from a Mississippi River Cruise. Quite a bit different.
I have been eyeing the Mississippi River cruise 8 day trips. Memphis to New Orleans. Which leg did you guys take? Company? Would you go again?
@@ResinAlchemist2024 New Orleans to Memphis on Viking. The cruise was nice, BUT. 2 days in a hotel before and two more after. Also, the 3 hr bus ride from Rosedale, Mississippi to Memphis, Tenn. lasted a LOT longer, left the ship around 9am, got to Memphis at 5 pm. Had two other Major issues, Viking called and offered $1,000.00 ($500 each) onboard credit and we declined. I'll be glad to share the other 2 issues if you want to hear about them.
So what happened did the boat break down 🤔💭

I did the brunch the other day. It exceeded my expectations. I was on crutches and they were very accommodating. The food was solid. The staff was friendly and attentive

I would love to see american river cruising. Noone else I watch does those and I've thought about taking one but they're so expensive.
Do the NCL Hawaiian Islands cruise with Lauren. It's such a beautiful experience and so many great places to eat and do excursions on each island.
Highly recommend this cruise. I have cruised this twice. It is land intensive. Food is good. Entertainment can be good it just depends. So tired when you return to the ship you just want to show, eat and go to bed.
We use the ship as a floating hotel

This is a great alternative so both of you can still enjoy cruising together, for now ❤️❤️ ( Sure I would love to see what some of the other River Cruises have to offer!)

Sure, I would like to see you & Lauren take a river cruise. I have checked out American River cruises, but the prices are SO Expensive!! I guess those river cruises are supposed to be a trip of a lifetime. Hmm, just to go up the Mississippi River. Lol!! This was a nice dinner cruise.
I’m happy for Captain Troy! Starship Cruises is something special to the Tampa Bay Area! Four of my 16 years in the industry were there and you both have to try Statship 4 out of Clearwater Beach!

We did a dinner cruise on the Grand River out of Lansing Michigan. It's so relaxing just floating down the river I booked a ten day cruise on the Mississippi
Ooooo a dinner cruise! Those are so fun! Chicago has great dinner cruises out of Navy Pier, and if you're cruising during the summer, you may even catch the fireworks from the boat! Some of them even have live DJs or small bands, and the last dinner cruise I was on had a magician doing close-up tricks for each table. It was great! 😊
I'll definitely try this next time hubby and I are in Tampa. The food looks delicious

Looks like an interesting dinner cruise on a sightseeing tour boat. You should try a real river cruise in the USA.
Try the Viking Mississippi if you need to do a river cruise and stay in the USA. Or Hawaii if you can skip the river.

Open Kitchen is a wonderful thing! My husband and I took a dinner cruise on the Bell of Louisville about 15 yrs ago. We were disappointed that the food was all prepared off site and all plates and utensils were cheap plastic and disposable. We understood why when we found out there wasn't water or power for cooking or cleaning. If I ever get to Tampa I will have to look this up :)

That looked like such a fun thing to do! I used to live by Cape Canaveral and we used to do the Casino ships-it’s fun until you’re out of money and stuck in a boat for another hour or 2. But this one looks like it could be interesting to try out. And YES 🙌🏽 I’d love to see more of these! Could you & Lauren do a Mississippi River cruise? (Do they have those? I thought I heard of them?) anyways…I’ve been on and off UA-cam here and there. So it’s nice to see y’all 😁 safe travels ❤

Nice for the evening, but take a look into doing a longer river cruise. Viking is a big go-to brand, but there’s also AmaWaterways, Uniworld, Scenic/Emerald, etc

I did one of these style cruises in MN when I lived there. Pretty funny. N then the hubby n I did a casino cruise in Orlando many years ago, before r Carnival cruise.

We were in Tampa this summer. And I wish that we would have went on this Cruz. I thought about it. Tampa is so pretty, but so congested.The water is much better
Detroit Michigan has "river cruise" trips like this and has for a LONG while. We had "Boblo Boat" then converted in 2005 to Detroit Princess cruises. They do have a functioning kitchen although it's "gas" but conventional kitchen it's an AWESOME river cruise. The process from getting it back from Texas alone is amazing. You should come to Michigan and check it out. Maybe reach out Detroit Princess Cruises and see if they may sponsor you. Just a thought. Lauren can even come and you explore travel in Michigan via land based sites as a Travel Agent. Widens your audience and your personal experience. SO many amazing sites in both Upper and Lower Michigan. lol You'll learn to understand the "hand" references when asked "where are you from" and a "UUper vs Troll" concept. ****Oh and Michigan has great state beers, wine and Grand Travers Michigan Hot Sauces which are REALLY good.
