My idea for an easy, and much needed improvement is Wilbur asking you if you'd like to visit another mystery island, if you have Nook Miles tickets in your pocket while leaving a mystery island. Creators like TagBackTV often do streams where they visit 50 mystery islands to hunt for a villager they want. It's just too much wasted time to go back to your island, then have to deal with Orville talking all over again.
@@time3081 Yeah, but if you're just looking for new villagers, and not really picking things up, there's no need to put things away. And you can always say yes to going home instead of another island. Mind you, this will never get put into place. Would be nice if they did tho.
I've always liked the idea of having headphones that let you block out some sounds and let you play any registered k.k. Songs. I really want to be able to listen to drivin' on the go
yes or at least a nook phone setting to adjust sound, often the afternoon music is soo loud I cant hear my little radios outside. and when kk, my villagers, the music player and the game world music are playing AT THE SAME TIME, its irritating.
When you mentioned blocking out some sounds, it made me think of that horrible piano smash sound Blathers makes when you wake him up during the day. It's a minor thing but I've disliked this for, well almost decades now! It's so jarring and oddly unpleasant, particularly as I know it's going to do it and that it will break my calm every time - not full on anxiety inducing but not too far off! I don't mind it for 'random' villager reactions but for speaking to Blathers every single time during daylight hours, it's just unnecessary
I have some things that you didn’t mention: I wish that villagers would tell you about a rumor they heard about a villager wanting to move out. That would make kicking out a villager easier. And if you could put things in storage in bulk so it wouldn’t take so long to make your island less cluttery. When you buy things from Nooks cranny, you should be able to pay from your savings, And how it says the hot items on the sign in nooks cranny, I think maybe it should have turnip prices on it too.
Nari _ yeah, in new leaf they had the villager moving out rumor. A villager would say something like “I heard that (villagers name) is thinking of moving out. You should go check on them.”
You dont get the point, paying from saving would get rid of the reason to have a bell limit in your wallet at all. You put SOME bells in your bank to get interest.
Landfill Luna I'm weird but I find it a lil therapeutic to dig up the clams 😂 I legit dug up 100 clams BUT I can see how it can be a hassle having to dig up a bunch of clams (unless u meant crafting then yes I agree with u XD)
I would love it if the tags in the museum actually gave information. The art section tags do this, so why can't I get some info about the Spinosaurus without finding another fossil and showing it to Blathers?

Maybe when friends are visiting your island, you can give them permission to edit your island or something, so you and your best friend can edit together but that one friend that loves to prank you still can't destroy your entire village.
and maybe (not sure how hard this would be to do) they could do a thing where if that best friend DID ruin your island you could kinda like.. roll it back so that the island before they edited it was - there- idk-
Maybe they could have a permit thing like they do with the Island Designer? Like maybe you could have an option to give a permit for placing/moving items in your best friend list. That way only the people you choose have the ability to do it. Eventually it would be cool to be able to do waterscaping and cliff design with people, and having to give out a permit for each different thing would help prevent people doing too much damage.
I also like to keep my tools in the top row. It's annoying when they break and I make a new one and it's in a different spot among the things I want to sell.
It would be best if we got smth like a toolbox where all tools are stored, not in the bag itself. I mean yeah, we got so much space in our inventory, still the tools take away unnecessarily much of it

The adb is a needed option, there were times where I needed just 10 bells for an item. even if its just a phone app where you can do bank transfers to your inventory.

I wish we didn’t have to put our nook phone down each time a visitor comes to the island via dodo airlines, like the waiting time is too long. It wouldn’t even mind if they came silently and we didn’t have to go from waiting screen, to saving screen, to loading screen.
Loading in other games is much faster since all players share the same map designs. (Example is CS:GO) In ACNH, every island is uniquely different, and thus every other player must load each individual asset and placements. Not sure if they can just ditch the waiting time for other players already on the island, and just let incoming players watch the loading screen.
I would personally be so upset if I had to place another building on my island now lol. I'd be happy to have him in the museum again, but that's probably my ACWW nostalgia hitting me as well!
Personally would like ordinances back from New Leaf, more specifically ordinances that allow stores to be open at different times (Early Bird and Night Owl), though most ordinances would be useful in the long run
Oh my GOD I can’t tell you how frustrating it is when painting paths, for the EXACT reason you’ve mentioned. I think I’m facing one way yet I end up painting and erasing the same areas by accident. It’s so annoying

with how many of these videos there are, and hell, there even being a fake update direct for most of these features, you'd think they would've added them by now. these would make the game just that much more enjoyable! great video as always, though!
Personally, if they wanted to do like a 100-500 bell fee to use the abd at another's island would make the most sense.... its like an atm, right. Why not have a fee like real world ones?
I hope in a future update that you could expand the number of villagers you have and then would be able to upgrade the campsite to a hotel or cottage of some sort so you can invite more villagers at once
ikr I really don't want to make my home into a hotel, but every town i'm forced to make my player characters surrender their home and turn it into a hotel or hospital... I really think the island needs at least a clinic for all those wasp stings and scorpions
for the dodo thing i would like an interface where we can just choose what we wanna do, and not listen hours of him asking us every little thing out.. -.- and i would love to have this villager interacting with items thing, but also that we can interact with each thing, i would love to take a shower.. for example..
This dialogues with any gatekeeper were ok in previous titles when we couldn't visit other than local or online. Now we got Mystery Islands, Harvey's Island, local and online which on top divides into Friend and Dodo Code. And don't get me started with hosting! Where we have to crawl through 1000 dialogue windows just to hear information about Dodo Code we already know very well

I so despretely want an indicator that I already own something, just like a tick next to it, similar to when you craft something. It would mean I'd stop buying the same colours of certain pieces of clothing a let me see what colours I don't have for furniture.
YES that would be so helpful! atm I use an app that I found called acnh life (i use iPhone) that I put everything I've cataloged in so I can keep track but it's still annoying to have to pull out my phone and pull up the app anytime I want to buy something or catalog something new
I wanna be able to sit down with my villagers when someone is singing and others are sitting and watching, or I wanna be able to sit down at trees. I also wanna be able to maybe read books with them, hold soda cans and drink it with them, work out with them, etc. It would be so much cooler if I could do that Edit: also what would be rlly cool if you could invite others on ur island to mystery islands or Harv's Island, If you want you could let people edit a certain room (only 1 room per person) and you could hv editing contests and stuff or easy roleplays.
What if there was a bunny island where you could only find eggs and egg diys so if you want too you can go to the island and do bunny day. also sticks with the whole island theme.
Kind of like what they did with the May Day ticket, just designated to Bunny Day instead. All that would really need to be altered would be a quick island set-up using one of the templates and a slight alter to the coding May Day tickets have.
I liked being able to easily find eggs on Bunny Day. Crafting all the items and the special event really got me through the first part of lockdown. However, I can understand the gripes. I think next year for Bunny Day (and most of the holidays) there should be an additional island you can go to to harvest more seasonal items if you want to do that, so you're not constantly bombarded with eggs like we were this year x
I want a way of finding villagers. I've sometimes had to spend a good fifteen minutes trying to find a certain villager to talk to and maybe give them an outfit. This could be changed if you can call or even text your villagers which we know you can do as Timmy and Tommy can call you to tell you about the drop-in box. It could be a fun way of replacing the megaphone in New Leaf with the absolute trash microphone.
I always thought there should be a separate button for building and removing for terraforming. Another thing I would like to see is the option to lock/unlock furniture in place when outside. I usually end up picking up furniture by accident when collecting items.

here's another one, having flower plants stack, as in when you dig them with a shovel then they stack, but i don't understand why this doesn't exist already because when you pick flowers they stack so...
that wouldnt always be a good thing though; even if the flowers are the same color, they can have different genetics so like if I dug up a white rose from one place and wanted to put it in another and then dug up another white rose that I was going to throw away, I would know which is which rather than having them stacked and not know the difference
I disagree. I think having 10 villagers is more than enough. Otherwise more villager houses will crowd up the island, it'd be hard to keep track of who you've talked to, and it keeps it fresh to have new villagers you dont have already!
We need at LEAST 15 villagers allowed living on the island also we should be able to upgrade our first five villagers houses from just a D.I.Y. house to their normal house so we wouldnt have to make all five of our first villagers move out.
They also need to add a ‘move out villager ’ option like when you talk to them there should be a button that says ‘talk about moving out’ and when you click it it says ‘are you sure you would like (insert villager name) to move out?’ And ofc a yes and no button and when you say yes the villager says ‘ oh! You would like me to move out? That’s alright at least I can explore more of the world!’ (It should be a different answer for each personality) and then they would be gone in the next day or two!
I agree with EVERYTHING you said in the video. It makes sense. I have ideas and feedback of my own too -More Custom designs slots. I’ve been trying to decorate my island but it’s been so hard because I can’t decide which I need more for what I’m designing. I’m designing a market place and BOY it’s been hard trying to decide what I want - If you have special guests Isabelle let’s you know This is a simple feature that would help a lot. You don’t have to run around everywhere to see if someone has visited. Like if Celeste was visiting Isabelle could say “Blather’s sister Celeste is visiting today! If you want to go say hi she is on the beach” -Isabelle can tell you what the weather would be like If you had shooting stars you wouldn’t need to waste your time and look up at the sky for a long time. Or if it will be raining. Even if it’s sunny it would be super helpful. -You can track your villagers and special guests on the map This would be SUPER helpful. When you haven’t been able to find one of your villagers when you need to talk to them or see if they are moving out it can be a real pain wandering around your island looking for them. It’s the same thing with the guest villagers. -Villagers has more things to say I get that it would probably be annoying for the people who created Animal Crossing to give almost 400 villagers a different personality. But if they would just add maybe one more option to talk to them that would be really cool! -Best friends do A LOT more. I think people you allow (for example: best friends) should do a lot more. I think they should be able to place down custom designs on your island, able to terraform, place down paths etc., they can place down things and tidy up. These simple features would be SUPER helpful. -You know how many stars you wished on. This is simple. If you are wishing on shooting stars this would be helpful so you don’t have to keep track of the stars. These are just my ideas ^^ I think these could really make a difference in the game.
building with your friends is something i miss, they need to add another level of best friends, giving this to a person you really trust let them do everything you can when it comes to terraforming and placing down things and so on, it is kinda boring to visit other islands as it is now, all you do is look around drop something they want maybe buy/sell something you want from the shop and that's pretty much it.. would be super fun to terraform and build with friends and to get help on your island if you are not super creative (like me) would make the game a million times more fun.
There’s one thing I want that nobody seems to mention: in nook shopping, if an item has multiple variants, if you have them all, the palette turns golden.
There already is a tracker to see which fossils you have, in a way. There's a fossil section of the catalog that shows you every one you've obtained, and it's alphabetized. You certainly don't have to go looking through the museum to find which ones you're missing, as long as you donate all the fossils you can and don't pick up other people's fossils (I don't know why you would, though). So an extra tracker would be kind of redundant imo. I'd rather see other qol changes before that.
I unfortunately only learnt this after uploading, this completely slipped pass me during writing my list! It’s sad I didn’t know about it when I was finishing my fossil exhibit.

On the subject of bunny day, I completed it but it was so frustrating. Well, 5 seconds have passed, better spawn another balloon! You need ore, well here's 8 eggs instead! Prevented me from doing anything else.
Before watching. Turning front (down) when switching items, certain things locked when visiting, inventory space, ability to move wall items with house tool, building tools are massively clunky (need something like the house tool), bridges and ramps take more space than their size, more than 10 villagers, some distinguishing feature on fruit trees other than fruit (may exist and I don't know), no limit on items from nook stop, remove camera restrictions (will never happen, Nintendo loves this for some reason and does it in many games), amiibo or cards for all new characters (i think amiibo is dead now), cloud save backup (I don't understand the rationale for not having it). I had a dream that I installed a third party patch to fix some of this stuff and I jumped onto a slope (doesn't exist) and rolled down and off it but then it turned out to be malware and closed the game and gave me all these warning messages. Random fact no one cares about!
I brought the Switch just to play ACNH and i got SO mad when i found out that it was an unfinished game. Like only 2 shops, no Brewster, no information on Fish, Fossils and Insects and so many other things missing! Nooks only being able to upgrade once too! I'd rather had the game in 2021 but finished. The only thing really left to do is decorate and collect.

What about Having to go back and forth, if you want to redeem nook mile prizes? i mean, its annoying to have to go back and forth, if you want like a nook mile ticket, say 20 of them, its gets annoying after awhile, that is something, i would like for them to change.
When it comes to #6, a nice compromise would be to let specific players take and place decorations on your island, so people you trust could do it but nobody else could.

I think even if Isabelle doesn’t say something like “At 7pm Celeste will be wandering around” even a simple “I’m sure I overheard Blathers say Celeste is coming for a visit soon”
I would love they to implement a system that permits a player to remove any villager they want without have to glitch the game with time travel and stuff...
Having an option to go back in dialogue to repeat any missed speech or to change an option to something else would be really helpful in my opinion E.g. changing an option at the airport to "via online play" rather than "via local play" if you misclicked or even entering a different dodo code if the first one was incorrect (rather than having to go through all the dialogue again)
I have two things I'd want added 1. Being able to choose the width of the path you're putting down 2. Blathers always says "I wish I could purchase these for my personal collection" when you give him fossils the museum already has. So maybe once and a while, he does buy them, but at a higher price like when Flick buys bugs.

I would like to see "multiple NMT buying" where instead of buying 1 NMT, a 'drop list' comes up and you can select how many NMT you want. Also: with dodo Airlines, they ask you if you want to use a Nook Mile Ticket. What I would like is them saying is "we notice you have 20 Nook Mile Tickets, do you want to use those?" You select "yes." Then it takes you to your first island. Talk to Wilbur and he will ask "How can I assist you?" You tap "next island please." He asks "are you sure you want to go to the next island?" You tap "yes." Then you are off to the next island (useful for villager hunting). If you used 4 NMT and got what you flew for, say "I want to go home." He will fly you back home and Oroville says, as he is returning your tickets, "here are your remaining tickets."
Love the content, very relatable indeed, especially the clams and terra forming...I hate how you can pick up placed items without any confirmation. Iff I would get a dollar for each time I removed fences and pools when trying to pick up fruit and wood, the game would've basically been my day job right now
I want there to be a music app. I know about town tunes, but I mean a app where you could make your own music like town tunes only with a lot more notes to work with, and then being able to purchase CDs or pay to get a copy of your masterpiece to register on your Radios or DJ tables. Imagine going to friends islands and hearing a literal masterpiece, that would be so cool!
I totally agree on all remarks! I would also love to be able to visit random player islands, and to be able to have random visitors. That was what i actually thought dreaming would be like.
Yeah, (other person) caught a koi fish when I hadn't got one and I kept searching for another but there was just carp and catfish. Nintendo please make this change
Definitely agree with a lot of these things. Crafting in bulk for sure. The Able Sisters and not being able to buy more than one clothing item at a time and it not telling you what you already have is a bit of a pain. And as someone who couldn't find shooting stars until just a few weeks ago, hearing about when Celeste or a special animal would be visiting would have been super helpful.
You might mention this in the video but the thing I miss the most is the lockers and the storage box. The storage box was for visiting islands, so you could carry more stuff home, and the lockers gave you an extra spot on your island to access your home storage, as well as allowing you to access it from other towns.
i totally agree with all of these, especially the fossil one. i want to know how far away i am from finishing that portion of the museum, it would be so much easier .
*Things I want:* 1: Brewster’s Cafe 2: The ability to print out multiple NMTs at a time. 3: Orville to stop asking for five-hundredth-fucking time if I’m okay with having strangers on my island while I’m trying to trade (Just shut up, dude). 4: More streamlined menu for flying (as you mentioned) 5: More spaces for custom designs. 6: More inventory space (maybe having more wardrobes could increase it? Or a new separate one for clothes?) 7&8: The ability to buy multiple colors of an item in the dressing room & for it to show you what you already own. I know you mentioned some of these, but not all.
Another thing that was in an older animal crossing game and could help so much, is the locker. In new leaf, at least as far as I can remember, there was a really large locker in the train station, where you could put stuff in when you travel to another town to clear your inventory space. I really wish that in the dodo airport, they had another locker. It was really helpful and it would make a big difference to new horizons especially if your like me and usually have a full inventory with no more storage space in the house.
Sometimes I like to buy my villagers matching outfits, or just want to have three color variations of the same dress, and I would love some kind of checkout cart for the fitting room.
I really agree with number 15. I worked really hard to buy a ton of beach chairs for my beaches, and NOBODY uses them! I think it would be cute if my villagers were sleeping on my pool chairs.
I would love for the pool to be bigger/have that as infrastructure, plus a little event of a heat wave where there's more items to farm/DIY, new reactions (panting, fanning yourself, sweating), also swimming in rivers/lakes, also ADD IN SITTING DOWN NEXT TO YOUR VILLAGERS
I loved when a villager would look happy and sing a lil when they had a good convo with another villager, now they can only get angry and stomp around when they interact with some one else
I think we shouldn’t need huge gaps between paths, and that we can put the paths on corner pieces. Also I think we should either be able to access the fourth level when terraforming or get rid of the fourth level completely if we can’t decorate it or even put a waterfall on it
also, sorta adding on to the terraforming grid thing; we need a grid for when we're planting flowers/digging things/placing furniture, it would just make it a lot more convenient
To add to the "grid" thing, I think we need to go further: Animal Crossing as a *franchise* needs a "strafe/select" mode when you have a tool equipped. Holding ZR or something makes your villager's orientation "lock" to their currently facing direction, and movement causes them to strafe and sidestep instead of changing orientation. The right stick is the only thing that rotates them. In addition, their currently selected tile(s) or locations with their currently equipped tool are highlighted with a transparent indicator also highlighting what the nearby grid currently looks like. (or, in the case of the bug net/fishing rod, simply a small arrow below them indicating the exact direction the villager is aiming). Things like fences or any Terraforming mode counts as a "tool". This would immediately solve pretty much all problems with perspective or all of those "shit, I didn't want to dig THERE" moments and allow for things to be much more precise, not to mention allowing people to double-check what their grids are, measuring spaces, etc. New Horizons even has a perfect way for this to not overwhelm new players by just locking it behind a Nook Miles reward, like the tool ring also is.

being able to build a two layer high cliff without needing the stupid 1 grid block step down would be amazing , would be able to reclaim so much land, also would love it if paths actually meshed with the ends of diagonal bridges too and river banks could be curved rather than constantly trying to form hexagon shapes. a shallow bend wouldn't be hard to put in.
I think it would be nice if Lloyd hired some other gyroids for you to pay. This would also free space for extra inclines and/or bridges! It would also be fun and cute to see the designs Nintendo comes up with for new gyroids! This is my opinion but I think it would be convenient!😊
The tools looking more worn idea is really good and was done in New Leaf with the axe. The axe will appear slightly more cracked the more you use it, then it breaks. So I think that'd be great in New Horizons especially considering that tools break way more often in the game.
Idea: talk to tom nook, select 1 or more things you would like to build (ramps, inclines etc), you put up the locations, then outside resident services, you see lloyd Lloyd: "Hello friend! Currently we have some outstanding payments, if you would select one to donate even 1 bell to, it would help immensely!" You select one from a list and then like normal you select the amount of bells max or a random number. If you pay off the rest of a build, Lloyd says: "hooray, thanks to you we can tick this (incline/bridge) off of our list! Now I only hope we can gather enough bells to fund the others..." the next day you pick which ceremony you would like to attend if you have paid off more than one (you can select more after, but you cant attend them all in the same millisecond).
I haven’t got the pool in the game yet but I’ve heard that people are annoyed that you can actually get into it and it makes no sense you can’t even get into the swimming pool because it’s it’s used
I’ve been saying the same thing about the dang able sisters! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this new fitting room option with clothes in lots of colours but like... what if I want ALL the dollhouse dresses?
I agree, we need more village interaction with the world and also more with us! Imagine being able to hug them or play tag or something as you're becoming friends after all. Also, this is a HUGE issue for me but I know it will never happen: item interaction. Nothing bummed me more than purchasing my first elephant slide and then finding out I can't slide down, or use a springy horse ride and not be able to hop on it. Grab cotton candy from the machine, buy a snack from the machine, lay in pools or the hot springs. You can't even rise the tricycle! Coming from a MySims fan this is really a lot. The game obviously lacks many features from animal crossing like collections or exterior decoration, but there was so much interaction between players and objects. And plus, if you have a community lot, Townies will actually come to it to drink coffee, dance, etc.
5:00 If you look at your catalogued items list on the nook shopping app, there’s a section devoted to which fossils you’ve acquired already. I’ve been using it to find out which ones I’m missing, since there are lists online of all of the fossils.
There should be an option when someone comes over you can either not give them permission to pick stuff up or you can let them help you with designing your island.

My idea for an easy, and much needed improvement is Wilbur asking you if you'd like to visit another mystery island, if you have Nook Miles tickets in your pocket while leaving a mystery island. Creators like TagBackTV often do streams where they visit 50 mystery islands to hunt for a villager they want. It's just too much wasted time to go back to your island, then have to deal with Orville talking all over again.

When you mentioned blocking out some sounds, it made me think of that horrible piano smash sound Blathers makes when you wake him up during the day. It's a minor thing but I've disliked this for, well almost decades now! It's so jarring and oddly unpleasant, particularly as I know it's going to do it and that it will break my calm every time - not full on anxiety inducing but not too far off!
I don't mind it for 'random' villager reactions but for speaking to Blathers every single time during daylight hours, it's just unnecessary

I have some things that you didn’t mention: I wish that villagers would tell you about a rumor they heard about a villager wanting to move out. That would make kicking out a villager easier. And if you could put things in storage in bulk so it wouldn’t take so long to make your island less cluttery. When you buy things from Nooks cranny, you should be able to pay from your savings, And how it says the hot items on the sign in nooks cranny, I think maybe it should have turnip prices on it too.

Maybe they could have a permit thing like they do with the Island Designer? Like maybe you could have an option to give a permit for placing/moving items in your best friend list. That way only the people you choose have the ability to do it. Eventually it would be cool to be able to do waterscaping and cliff design with people, and having to give out a permit for each different thing would help prevent people doing too much damage.

The adb is a needed option, there were times where I needed just 10 bells for an item. even if its just a phone app where you can do bank transfers to your inventory.

Loading in other games is much faster since all players share the same map designs. (Example is CS:GO)
In ACNH, every island is uniquely different, and thus every other player must load each individual asset and placements. Not sure if they can just ditch the waiting time for other players already on the island, and just let incoming players watch the loading screen.
This is unacceptable for a paid subscription too

This dialogues with any gatekeeper were ok in previous titles when we couldn't visit other than local or online. Now we got Mystery Islands, Harvey's Island, local and online which on top divides into Friend and Dodo Code.
And don't get me started with hosting! Where we have to crawl through 1000 dialogue windows just to hear information about Dodo Code we already know very well

Kind of like what they did with the May Day ticket, just designated to Bunny Day instead. All that would really need to be altered would be a quick island set-up using one of the templates and a slight alter to the coding May Day tickets have.

I liked being able to easily find eggs on Bunny Day. Crafting all the items and the special event really got me through the first part of lockdown. However, I can understand the gripes. I think next year for Bunny Day (and most of the holidays) there should be an additional island you can go to to harvest more seasonal items if you want to do that, so you're not constantly bombarded with eggs like we were this year x
I want a way of finding villagers. I've sometimes had to spend a good fifteen minutes trying to find a certain villager to talk to and maybe give them an outfit. This could be changed if you can call or even text your villagers which we know you can do as Timmy and Tommy can call you to tell you about the drop-in box. It could be a fun way of replacing the megaphone in New Leaf with the absolute trash microphone.

here's another one, having flower plants stack, as in when you dig them with a shovel then they stack, but i don't understand why this doesn't exist already because when you pick flowers they stack so...
that wouldnt always be a good thing though; even if the flowers are the same color, they can have different genetics
so like if I dug up a white rose from one place and wanted to put it in another and then dug up another white rose that I was going to throw away, I would know which is which rather than having them stacked and not know the difference

I disagree. I think having 10 villagers is more than enough. Otherwise more villager houses will crowd up the island, it'd be hard to keep track of who you've talked to, and it keeps it fresh to have new villagers you dont have already!

We need at LEAST 15 villagers allowed living on the island also we should be able to upgrade our first five villagers houses from just a D.I.Y. house to their normal house so we wouldnt have to make all five of our first villagers move out.
They also need to add a ‘move out villager ’ option like when you talk to them there should be a button that says ‘talk about moving out’ and when you click it it says ‘are you sure you would like (insert villager name) to move out?’ And ofc a yes and no button and when you say yes the villager says ‘ oh! You would like me to move out? That’s alright at least I can explore more of the world!’ (It should be a different answer for each personality) and then they would be gone in the next day or two!
No that would be way too easy. Plus people might accidentally move out villagers they want to keep.

This is a simple feature that would help a lot. You don’t have to run around everywhere to see if someone has visited. Like if Celeste was visiting Isabelle could say “Blather’s sister Celeste is visiting today! If you want to go say hi she is on the beach”
-Isabelle can tell you what the weather would be like
If you had shooting stars you wouldn’t need to waste your time and look up at the sky for a long time. Or if it will be raining. Even if it’s sunny it would be super helpful.
-You can track your villagers and special guests on the map
This would be SUPER helpful. When you haven’t been able to find one of your villagers when you need to talk to them or see if they are moving out it can be a real pain wandering around your island looking for them. It’s the same thing with the guest villagers.
-Villagers has more things to say
I get that it would probably be annoying for the people who created Animal Crossing to give almost 400 villagers a different personality. But if they would just add maybe one more option to talk to them that would be really cool!
-Best friends do A LOT more.
I think people you allow (for example: best friends) should do a lot more. I think they should be able to place down custom designs on your island, able to terraform, place down paths etc., they can place down things and tidy up. These simple features would be SUPER helpful.
-You know how many stars you wished on. This is simple. If you are wishing on shooting stars this would be helpful so you don’t have to keep track of the stars.
These are just my ideas ^^ I think these could really make a difference in the game.
building with your friends is something i miss, they need to add another level of best friends, giving this to a person you really trust let them do everything you can when it comes to terraforming and placing down things and so on, it is kinda boring to visit other islands as it is now, all you do is look around drop something they want maybe buy/sell something you want from the shop and that's pretty much it.. would be super fun to terraform and build with friends and to get help on your island if you are not super creative (like me) would make the game a million times more fun.

There’s one thing I want that nobody seems to mention: in nook shopping, if an item has multiple variants, if you have them all, the palette turns golden.
There already is a tracker to see which fossils you have, in a way. There's a fossil section of the catalog that shows you every one you've obtained, and it's alphabetized. You certainly don't have to go looking through the museum to find which ones you're missing, as long as you donate all the fossils you can and don't pick up other people's fossils (I don't know why you would, though). So an extra tracker would be kind of redundant imo. I'd rather see other qol changes before that.
I unfortunately only learnt this after uploading, this completely slipped pass me during writing my list! It’s sad I didn’t know about it when I was finishing my fossil exhibit.

Before watching. Turning front (down) when switching items, certain things locked when visiting, inventory space, ability to move wall items with house tool, building tools are massively clunky (need something like the house tool), bridges and ramps take more space than their size, more than 10 villagers, some distinguishing feature on fruit trees other than fruit (may exist and I don't know), no limit on items from nook stop, remove camera restrictions (will never happen, Nintendo loves this for some reason and does it in many games), amiibo or cards for all new characters (i think amiibo is dead now), cloud save backup (I don't understand the rationale for not having it).
I had a dream that I installed a third party patch to fix some of this stuff and I jumped onto a slope (doesn't exist) and rolled down and off it but then it turned out to be malware and closed the game and gave me all these warning messages. Random fact no one cares about!

I brought the Switch just to play ACNH and i got SO mad when i found out that it was an unfinished game. Like only 2 shops, no Brewster, no information on Fish, Fossils and Insects and so many other things missing! Nooks only being able to upgrade once too! I'd rather had the game in 2021 but finished. The only thing really left to do is decorate and collect.
The interactive stuff is a BIG want from me I also want them to add more of the ACPC items like the Sakura items and things like that

- make a different between shells and those crabs
- make planting bushes easier (does not close inventory after planting one)
- the ability to plant multiple flowers at once
- more house upgrades, so there should be more storage space and more rooms
- make emergency services work on other islands
- remove the close inventory prompt when someone comes/leaves
- more inventory upgrades
- put technical details to prompts like ‘looks like someone has left secretly’ or ‘someone forgot to turn off the nookphone’
- fix the chinese translation of the game
(example:「正在忙」 , literal meaning _is doing busy_)
- isabelle trash-talking in announcement shall be stopped, like ‘hey i finished a puzzle in 2 days’
- item information should exist, but it’s only obtainable through nook miles exchange, like the inventory upgrades
- make more space for my designs
- add the ability to erase my designs like the designs made by others
- remove either 8 or B in dodo code
- kk songs should allow different languages (like k.k.bubblegum and k.k.偶像)

- specify that you need a mirror to change your appearance at the start of the game
- either specify that the question of what should you bring to your deserted island does indeed affect the airport’s color/colour or just let the player choose the color/colour

- tell the player through notifications if someone wants to be best friends
- the snowman should be able to talk to visitors
- there should be more than one gyroid on an island
- you should be able to move your house after customising the house and vice-versa

- make insects that appear on trees, bushes and stone easier to catch
- display an indicator of how many space is left in your inventory every time you pickup something
- you should be able to get the medicine recipe from any villager
I think even if Isabelle doesn’t say something like “At 7pm Celeste will be wandering around” even a simple “I’m sure I overheard Blathers say Celeste is coming for a visit soon”

I would love they to implement a system that permits a player to remove any villager they want without have to glitch the game with time travel and stuff...
Having an option to go back in dialogue to repeat any missed speech or to change an option to something else would be really helpful in my opinion
E.g. changing an option at the airport to "via online play" rather than "via local play" if you misclicked or even entering a different dodo code if the first one was incorrect (rather than having to go through all the dialogue again)
I have two things I'd want added
1. Being able to choose the width of the path you're putting down
2. Blathers always says "I wish I could purchase these for my personal collection" when you give him fossils the museum already has. So maybe once and a while, he does buy them, but at a higher price like when Flick buys bugs.
I'd love to be able to actually play the game and not have to throw this game out just because I let my sister play first

I would like to see "multiple NMT buying" where instead of buying 1 NMT, a 'drop list' comes up and you can select how many NMT you want.
Also: with dodo Airlines, they ask you if you want to use a Nook Mile Ticket.
What I would like is them saying is "we notice you have 20 Nook Mile Tickets, do you want to use those?" You select "yes." Then it takes you to your first island. Talk to Wilbur and he will ask "How can I assist you?" You tap "next island please." He asks "are you sure you want to go to the next island?" You tap "yes." Then you are off to the next island (useful for villager hunting). If you used 4 NMT and got what you flew for, say "I want to go home." He will fly you back home and Oroville says, as he is returning your tickets, "here are your remaining tickets."
Love the content, very relatable indeed, especially the clams and terra forming...I hate how you can pick up placed items without any confirmation. Iff I would get a dollar for each time I removed fences and pools when trying to pick up fruit and wood, the game would've basically been my day job right now

I want there to be a music app. I know about town tunes, but I mean a app where you could make your own music like town tunes only with a lot more notes to work with, and then being able to purchase CDs or pay to get a copy of your masterpiece to register on your Radios or DJ tables.
Imagine going to friends islands and hearing a literal masterpiece, that would be so cool!
I totally agree on all remarks! I would also love to be able to visit random player islands, and to be able to have random visitors. That was what i actually thought dreaming would be like.
What about dropping bugs and fish I just wanna give my friend that one bug so they can donate it but I can only show it off

Definitely agree with a lot of these things. Crafting in bulk for sure. The Able Sisters and not being able to buy more than one clothing item at a time and it not telling you what you already have is a bit of a pain. And as someone who couldn't find shooting stars until just a few weeks ago, hearing about when Celeste or a special animal would be visiting would have been super helpful.
You might mention this in the video but the thing I miss the most is the lockers and the storage box. The storage box was for visiting islands, so you could carry more stuff home, and the lockers gave you an extra spot on your island to access your home storage, as well as allowing you to access it from other towns.
These small annoyances are so relatable. Thanks for providing such amazing content!
i totally agree with all of these, especially the fossil one. i want to know how far away i am from finishing that portion of the museum, it would be so much easier .
*Things I want:* 1: Brewster’s Cafe 2: The ability to print out multiple NMTs at a time. 3: Orville to stop asking for five-hundredth-fucking time if I’m okay with having strangers on my island while I’m trying to trade (Just shut up, dude). 4: More streamlined menu for flying (as you mentioned) 5: More spaces for custom designs. 6: More inventory space (maybe having more wardrobes could increase it? Or a new separate one for clothes?) 7&8: The ability to buy multiple colors of an item in the dressing room & for it to show you what you already own. I know you mentioned some of these, but not all.
Another thing that was in an older animal crossing game and could help so much, is the locker. In new leaf, at least as far as I can remember, there was a really large locker in the train station, where you could put stuff in when you travel to another town to clear your inventory space. I really wish that in the dodo airport, they had another locker. It was really helpful and it would make a big difference to new horizons especially if your like me and usually have a full inventory with no more storage space in the house.
Sometimes I like to buy my villagers matching outfits, or just want to have three color variations of the same dress, and I would love some kind of checkout cart for the fitting room.
I really agree with number 15. I worked really hard to buy a ton of beach chairs for my beaches, and NOBODY uses them! I think it would be cute if my villagers were sleeping on my pool chairs.
I would love for the pool to be bigger/have that as infrastructure, plus a little event of a heat wave where there's more items to farm/DIY, new reactions (panting, fanning yourself, sweating), also swimming in rivers/lakes, also ADD IN SITTING DOWN NEXT TO YOUR VILLAGERS
I loved when a villager would look happy and sing a lil when they had a good convo with another villager, now they can only get angry and stomp around when they interact with some one else
I think we shouldn’t need huge gaps between paths, and that we can put the paths on corner pieces. Also I think we should either be able to access the fourth level when terraforming or get rid of the fourth level completely if we can’t decorate it or even put a waterfall on it
i want them to REMOVE the loading screen when someone comes EVERYTIME
also, sorta adding on to the terraforming grid thing; we need a grid for when we're planting flowers/digging things/placing furniture, it would just make it a lot more convenient
To add to the "grid" thing, I think we need to go further: Animal Crossing as a *franchise* needs a "strafe/select" mode when you have a tool equipped.
Holding ZR or something makes your villager's orientation "lock" to their currently facing direction, and movement causes them to strafe and sidestep instead of changing orientation. The right stick is the only thing that rotates them. In addition, their currently selected tile(s) or locations with their currently equipped tool are highlighted with a transparent indicator also highlighting what the nearby grid currently looks like. (or, in the case of the bug net/fishing rod, simply a small arrow below them indicating the exact direction the villager is aiming). Things like fences or any Terraforming mode counts as a "tool".
This would immediately solve pretty much all problems with perspective or all of those "shit, I didn't want to dig THERE" moments and allow for things to be much more precise, not to mention allowing people to double-check what their grids are, measuring spaces, etc. New Horizons even has a perfect way for this to not overwhelm new players by just locking it behind a Nook Miles reward, like the tool ring also is.

being able to build a two layer high cliff without needing the stupid 1 grid block step down would be amazing , would be able to reclaim so much land, also would love it if paths actually meshed with the ends of diagonal bridges too and river banks could be curved rather than constantly trying to form hexagon shapes. a shallow bend wouldn't be hard to put in.
I think it would be nice if Lloyd hired some other gyroids for you to pay. This would also free space for extra inclines and/or bridges! It would also be fun and cute to see the designs Nintendo comes up with for new gyroids! This is my opinion but I think it would be convenient!😊
The tools looking more worn idea is really good and was done in New Leaf with the axe. The axe will appear slightly more cracked the more you use it, then it breaks. So I think that'd be great in New Horizons especially considering that tools break way more often in the game.
Idea: talk to tom nook, select 1 or more things you would like to build (ramps, inclines etc), you put up the locations, then outside resident services, you see lloyd
Lloyd: "Hello friend! Currently we have some outstanding payments, if you would select one to donate even 1 bell to, it would help immensely!"
You select one from a list and then like normal you select the amount of bells max or a random number.
If you pay off the rest of a build, Lloyd says: "hooray, thanks to you we can tick this (incline/bridge) off of our list! Now I only hope we can gather enough bells to fund the others..." the next day you pick which ceremony you would like to attend if you have paid off more than one (you can select more after, but you cant attend them all in the same millisecond).
I haven’t got the pool in the game yet but I’ve heard that people are annoyed that you can actually get into it and it makes no sense you can’t even get into the swimming pool because it’s it’s used
I’ve been saying the same thing about the dang able sisters! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this new fitting room option with clothes in lots of colours but like... what if I want ALL the dollhouse dresses?
I agree, we need more village interaction with the world and also more with us! Imagine being able to hug them or play tag or something as you're becoming friends after all.
Also, this is a HUGE issue for me but I know it will never happen: item interaction. Nothing bummed me more than purchasing my first elephant slide and then finding out I can't slide down, or use a springy horse ride and not be able to hop on it. Grab cotton candy from the machine, buy a snack from the machine, lay in pools or the hot springs. You can't even rise the tricycle!
Coming from a MySims fan this is really a lot. The game obviously lacks many features from animal crossing like collections or exterior decoration, but there was so much interaction between players and objects. And plus, if you have a community lot, Townies will actually come to it to drink coffee, dance, etc.
5:00 If you look at your catalogued items list on the nook shopping app, there’s a section devoted to which fossils you’ve acquired already. I’ve been using it to find out which ones I’m missing, since there are lists online of all of the fossils.
Tip: Spam B to make them talk faster. Hope this helps ;)
There should be an option when someone comes over you can either not give them permission to pick stuff up or you can let them help you with designing your island.
I also agree about the fossils. I'd like to see clearly how many more I have left to find.
