You are right about the fruits and vegetables, they are the best in the world, partly because in Pakistan (including Afghanistan and Iran) they 're grown naturally in organic way without using artificial fertilizers plus the soil is naturally rich in minerals due to the rivers which brings mud from the huge mountains range in the north.

I've lived there as a child and trust me once u get the vibes of the culture you'll love it. U just have to understand general cultural things and I think it's different in every country. Social media can really brain wash u tbh and from my experience I've lived in lahore for 4 years and I've never heard a bomb or never been robbed and anything like that for the time I was living there, people there live their lives just like ordinary people but in a different style than urs everyday. If u visit Pakistan next time must come to K.P.K u would be amazed by it's natural beauty espacially in northern KPK and u would encounter diversity in Pakistan's culture and ethnicities too although people would stop u due to perceived terrorism but beleive me that's not true and ur adventure would be epic due to hospitality of local people.

Kindly do not discredit those who are living in South or in the Middle of Pakistan. They are as generous as anyone else. Pakistani people in general are generous. But one ethnicity up north of Pakistan are infact self proclaimed most generous and hospitable. But there is a reason that Middle and Southern Pakistan is ethnically diverse than the North. This is because the Northerners will extend the Hospitality but after some days you will choose not to live there because of many reasons I cannot explain here. Is there violence in Karachi. Yes there is. I won't lie. But it's not the way we presume it to be. Forget everything you've "seen" and "heard" in the news about Karachi. First if you review the local papers you would find that there is rarely very few incidents where tourists are in the news for the wrong reasons. I worked and lived in Karachi, have taken a lot of foreigners on tours or business on a daily basis. We work together, eat together and shop together and there is never any issue. Secondly, Karachi is a big big city and all big cities have their issues from Bangkok to LA. So as long as you are a little cautious, there would be nothing to worry. Make the trip and I bet you'll be looking forward to coming back. Don't worry at all - Karachites, am sure, will take good care of you.

In Paksitan, salad means some pieces of cut cucumbers, onion, (may be carrots) and some lettuce leaves. It is interesting lettuce leaves are called "Salaad kay pattay". Pakistanis don't have the concept of American Salad. Also there is no tradition of eating raw vegetables. Vegetables and meat have to be cooked thru. Despite the fact that u might have never visited my country or lived there like an ordinary person, you have no right to say it's horrible coz brush have u got any experience? No I suppose. It's culture is unique and stylish and the food, clothes are amazing. Plus there are so many non-visited places like the mountains, seas basically where all the nature is unseen by the world. You say Pakistan is a terrorist country no it is not because there are so many other Muslim or non- muslim nationalities that u can blame on for terrorisim. I've heard lots of people recommending to go to Karachi. But with all the violence in karachi isn't it a dangerous place to visit., hope you would respond positively because it's one city I've not visited in Pakistan.
Is there violence in Karachi. Yes there is. I won't lie. But it's not the way we presume it to be.
Forget everything you've "seen" and "heard" in the news about Karachi. First if you review the local papers you would find that there is rarely very few incidents where tourists are in the news for the wrong reasons. I worked and lived in Karachi, have taken a lot of foreigners on tours or business on a daily basis. We work together, eat together and shop together and there is never any issue. Secondly, Karachi is a big big city and all big cities have their issues from Bangkok to LA. So as long as you are a little cautious, there would be nothing to worry.
Make the trip and I bet you'll be looking forward to coming back. Don't worry at all - Karachites, am sure, will take good care of you.
Karachi is the heart of Pakistan. and there isn't any violence in Karachi anymore, it was in the past but not anymore.
Though there are many tensions between India and pakistan but if I get a chance to visit pakistan I will definitely do that. Because my ancestors were from pakistan. I would like to discover my roots.

The fruits and vegetables we have out here in the West are tasteless because they're almost all Gmo's these days. Out here in California we have beautiful strawberries that are as big as softballs but unfortunately they taste like air!

In Paksitan, salad means some pieces of cut cucumbers, onion, (may be carrots) and some lettuce leaves. It is interesting lettuce leaves are called "Salaad kay pattay". Pakistanis don't have the concept of American Salad. Also there is no tradition of eating raw vegetables. Vegetables and meat have to be cooked thru. It is slowly becoming common knowledge that vegetables when cooked loose their vitamins.

Pakistani women's don't go a lot to markets because we man as a brother husband father son do all the work on our own we don't want them to go outside in market in a sunny hot day

thanks for speaking good about Pakistan. we do have alot of very good veggy dishes, but true to say you won't find them in restaurants.
the fruit and veg are the best I've ever had too, it's because we have rich soil, and amazing water mostly from the himalayas.
You have a very pleasant look, that is why you could roam freely around Pakistan and Iran. Personality makes all the difference

1) there r very few veg foods , they put meat in everything , even their veg dishes are incomplete without meat
2) she taught them to cook *British Deserts
I'm aussie married to a pakistani we go 3/4 days a week without meat :/ there's lots of lentil dishes chickpeas.. potatoes, veggie patties, salads tons of non meat dishes .-.
They do use oil but it's not like they destroy forests doing it... it's olive oil 🙈

am from UK Wales. there is so much bad stigma from the media that feeds the westerners a negative view regarding Muslims and Islamic nations. I say a lot of respect and love towards people of different backgrounds can foster a heathly relationship. I do have one question is it safe for me to travel to pakistan. I heard it's a bit risky to travel to the northern borders between Afghanistan and Pakistan. properly best if I go south. I assume it's safe even if I am white European?

Our ancestors got a separate country because they wanted to be able to freely practice their religion. So religion is big part of our culture but we don't have something like "Morality police". Family law is based on sharia law while penal code and other stuff is mostly from colonial times.
