This isn’t an old movie.
This is history.
nothing will ever beat the late 90's/early 2000's car scene, this is the true golden era
The mid to late 80s was a good time too. Still plenty of muscle dirt cheap back then before people started collecting them. It was a normal thing to see Chargers, Roadrunners, Cudas, etc lighting each other up off stop lights.
@@doclightning4360 i guess i should have specified more in my original comment, late 90's/early 2000's was peak for tuning car culture, especially japanese cars. I do agree with you though, 80s held a lot for japanese car culture as well, but man the muscle scene had such a huge resurgence!
I'm glad that the gas crisis didn't end the muscle era completely, because the 80s had some true classics come from it.
Car Culture 1998 to 2002. Before social media.
MISCHIEF TV the fast & the furious type of days
Are going to upload all the rest of the DVDs in this series?
I remember paying like $40 per DVD because of import duties and international freight, getting the DVD and watching literally a dusin times. Back when we weren't content spoiled. Good things to grow up with.
Is there a website where I can still buy the dvds?@mischief tv
@@johnlopez8115 Amazon and eBay
This feels like a different world. How some things changed is kinda sad. Also I gotta say, amazing cinematography for couple of guys with cameras in early 2000s.
@voice of reason I'd say nowadays with street takeover culture it's much worse. Back then people seemed much more organized with the street racing. Now they just do donuts until someone hits someone in the crowd just to go viral.
voice of reason user name checks out...
Before all these car scene youtubers, there was Mischief !!! I encourage everyone to share these
Dustin, you're my hero, man.
It's like stepping in to a time machine. So cool seeing things like E46 M3's and WRX's when they were brand new stateside
This is the closest we'll ever get to a time machine
I know right, It’s crazy we can interact with him through UA-cam.
Technology has come so far
Dustin’s a legend
I lost all my mischief DVDs in a divorce. This truly made me happy tonight. Can't wait for more
Man your wife must be popping sick e-brake turns by now
Thats petty as hell taking dvds imao, i can understand taking a car but car dvd's? Sheeeettt

The period of time these clips were shot might as well have been 5 lifetimes ago. I was a 15-year old kid when this DVD came out and all my friends and I wanted were fast cars, girls, and money. We'd watch Dustin and the people in these videos with envy after playing some Halo or Melee. Those were such fun times; I just wish I had known back then that they'd be the best times I'd ever have.
Truu 2000s were the last good years imo...
Fuck yeah
18:01 Nissan had the idea of the R35 concept before 2002. Amazing we still use the body style till this day
well thats just nissan being lazy and not updating the looks of their cars
Pretty common for cars to be in development for upwards of a decade on the long side
And now into 2024 model year.. crazy😮
Man i remember watching this as a kid. Hard to believe so much time has passed. Most of the people featured in the clips probably live completely different lives now. I wish i could relive those days. A truly different era, the golden age. Thanks for the upload and memories!
This is the first car related VHS my dad (RIP) Brought for me as a kid looked for a long time to find it ...till today thanks mate I appreciate it
TheSkid Missle RIP
@@kid4375 cheers mate 🤝
It feels like a completely different time period, a lot of music from this era and countless hours of footage has definitely been lost
2005, we were a 8 year old brat, my buddy's brother got a VW golf , with aftermarket wheels. and when i came to visit he always showed me "the cool car movies"
15 years were a long time when you think about it
Thank you for keeping this alive, Dustin. This came out when I was 16 and this was SUPER influential to me and all my friends twenty years ago. I feel like there wouldn't be a Hoonigan, Donut Media, VinWiki, Tavarish, Doug Demuro, ThatDudeInBlue, etc, if there was never Dustin Worles and Dado. Thanks for risking everything to sneak into Gumball and show us all that we could one day live out our stupid dreams.
I remember doing all kinds of crazy shit like this in the early 2000s. Too many cameras and cops and shit for shenanigans now.
Way to go Dustin! The perfect distraction from all the craziness!
Amen too that!! 🙏💪🏼🤝🦾
This is amazing, I wished I was old enough to have experienced this kind of scene before social media and whatnot! Such a cool throwback
19:50 bruh moment
You made quarantining here in NY alot better today!!! Woooo..
Just sent link to video to all my friends. !!!
Always wanted to see these movies, and since i live in Croatia ive never seen a DVD, only the clips on youtube since i was a small kid, now i can finally see the full movie. Thank you Dustin for bringing the movies to youtube!
This brings back so many memories. There is no telling how many times I watched this when I owned it.
This is exactly the sort of entertainment I need during such scary times.
you fell for it
I’m Glad to have experienced the golden years of the scene. The mischief series was always authentic & it’s great to look back at.
Thanks Dustin!
crazy to see so many people who grew up with this and seeing all the different ages, but its a constant reminder that I, who was born in 07, a long ways from when this all went down, will never get to enjoy a lifestyle like this in a world so dominated with consumerism and mob mentality, too busy worrying about the wrong things. In a world so filled with unhappiness I love to find movies like this posted to youtube so that I can at least get a view into what it was like then, when the world was better. It may have not been good at the time but almost everyone can agree it was significantly better than it is now. Nevertheless I'm happy that stuff like this is shared and will always love street racing movies like this one. We all should be more happy that it happened, and make the most of what we have now.
very cool, huge props for uploading all of these so they can be preserved for those of us who didn't have the opportunity to get the DVDs back in the day!
Dude, I still have this on VHS. This film is the reason I love Z3 M coupes. Please, please, please! Upload more of these! I've been trying for years to purchase the others in the series. 💚🔰💛
LOL I have this dvd, used to watch it once a week at least back in 03 or whenever it came out. Brings back so many memories
The ghostrider and mischief VHS's/DvD's where the ones i always watched as a kid. My dad gave them to me (after he watched them offcourse)
Whats ghostrider?
back when everyone had hobbies and didn't just sit in front of a screen all day, wish i was older in the 90s early 00s
Simply, the best time to be a car enthusiast. It will NEVER be the same again sadly! thank you so much for reposting this AWESOME movie.
Jesus Christ this took me back! I lived this culture. I graduated in 92, joined the Navy, had a 90 Celica GT with true spoke gold McLeans, four 12's in the hatch and two 15's in the back seat. Before that in late 89, I began swapping engines in my VW Karmann Ghia for more power. I had the fast cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes and street racing. I lived the destruction, greatest music of all time, mayhem, NOPI Nats, HIN, ridiculously stupid body kits and colors, loud stereo and just overall badassery that could only happen in the mid 90s to 2001. Thousands of cars caravaning the interstates to Atlanta from all over the country in SuperStreet tours. I was in those caravans as I drove from my home in Alabama to Atlanta. Alabama to TN for HIN, to FL for all the shows and events. A sight to be seen as there would be at times 50+ cars all grouped together. The NOPI shenanigans, burnouts at the Shoney's Inn, the running from the cops, the crowds at the Ryan's, the endless line of cars leaving NOPI, the early morning car washes as we prepped our cars before the show... 9-11 was the end of the car scene as we knew it. Economy went to shit, people were afraid to go out and nobody had money. Social media was born, along with a new generation and people stopped going out. A few years later in 2007, the economy melted down and we had the financial crisis of 2008. Then smart phones became a thing and the upcoming generation was glued to their phones and the rest is sad history.
I will have to dig out all of my old videos and pictures and put them on the very social media that destroyed what we loved so much... ✌🏼
Sad. What a great time though you had.
OMG this is going way back. Thank you for this I lost my DVD a few years back now so it will be good to watch again.
This was next level sh*t for a 16 year old when it came out. I abused my 626 and maxima trying to replicate some of this! Thank you Dustin!
Thank you so much for uploading this. As a local Marylander this is my absolute favorite stuff to see.
Man this takes me way back. Thank you very much for making your video's back in the day and again now for revisiting it. Lots of fond memories watching your videos.
Will u upload the others??? Cuz I was waiting for years now
yes in order
@@mischieftelevision Prayers have been answered. And do it around 5PM eastern time. Lol

I'm European and I have this on DVD since around 2004. I borrowed it from a friend who lived in the USA and I never gave it back. 🤫
Thanks for uploading this, Dustin! I hope you'll release the other movies too! Still hold up as the best car culture DVD series to date, hands down.
So amazing.
Cool seeing alot of those concept cars make it into production
One of the greatest, still have my copy I got from circuit city
Dustin, hello from Russia!
Please forgive me, but in 2005 I was a kid and cant buy any DVD from USA. I don't even know was there any shiping between our countryes 18 years ago. All Mischief movies I have downloaded from torrent or local network. I was a huge fan of Need for Speed games(especialy Hot Percuit) and your movies got right into my heart. I've watched them many many times. It's very cool that I can say thank you at least 15 years later.
Now I'm editing youtube video myself(as an employee). I can't imagine how difficult it was to make this movie. If only took 4 year to collect footages .
Nowadays making content much easyer and this make it worthless.
Thank a lot!
Thank you Dustin! I hope you're still healthy and tearing it up, boss man!
I am from Germany and recently Tried to geht all the mischief movies on DVD. I got all of them except this One and the Mischief 3000. so thank you for uploading it so I am still able to watch.
my cousin still have the DVD , that was so awesome back in the day !! so many memories
Man I bought this when it first came out out on DVD… lol glad to see it here
Pure awesomeness!!! Man I wish there was a way you could do a Spotify playlist of all the tracks used in the vids. Thank you for these wonderful memories of my youth! :D
Thank you so much for uploading this. Me and so many other people were entertained by this series. I'm so happy you are still uploading stuff for us and staying in contact. I would always watch this stuff after work back in the day. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for uploading this! A nice trip down memory lane. Jackass, but with cars.
I've never felt that much adrenaline from movie that I felt watching this masterpiece
23:23 thank me later one of the best parts of this whole Movie.

@@slow26gtr appreciate man do you happen to know who remixes it cause it’s not the same.
i used to have all of these movies. were a massive part of my love of cars growing up.
Thank you, for letting me re-live the glory days.
I love the snaps you took of the auto show back in the era when cars where cars🔥🔥🔥🔥🥺
Crazy the R35 was showcased as early around 2002 and its still being produced today based on that model. 18:10 A handful of the cars at that show still would look "modern" even if shown today.
OH MAN!!!! Who else had this sh!t on DVD! thank you! thank you! thank you!
I still have this one! Found it last month going through my dvds...its now displayed with my other awesome dvds
I still own all these except for joyride. Some I have multiple copies of. Those were good times!
I have this DVD to this day.
Me too used to play it in 00 si 22yrs later i got my e36
as a maxima guy that maxima destruction broke my heart :(
First video I’ve ever seen about street racing right here my childhood
I used to have a yellow xterra just like that and always took it out drifting in the snow. Good times
I remember buying this DVD because of the Dado and the E36 M3, because I had one as well and wanted to drive just like him.
good memories. reminds me when i bought this dvd at circuit city lol
If I'm not mistaken that was Kyle from 1320 that's driving the Audi S4 running from the cops
Alex Fondeur I don’t think you’re correct
Less than 2 weeks after I buy this DVD ya give it away for free on UA-cam??
Thank you... People need to see these!!
It’s crazy to see how the car customization has changed, coming from 2022
It was better then😔
Being a street racer from back in the day was the best timesmof my life.
I was wondering if you'd have to cut the "good parts" out but instead you just blurred them which seems like a good compromise.
are they uncensored in the original dvd's ?
@@EmirDemirovski yes lol
Perfect timing to get through quarantine!! Thanks Dustin!
2002 auto show just tells you they are way ahead of us
Man I miss these days
YES! Thank you so much Dustin!!!
This is exactly what I needed while on quarantine awaiting results for my son and I. Thanks 🤙🏼
I hope you're okay.
Amazing. What history this is
Those were the good old days… wish I still had all the clips I took from street racing days… new generation now days don’t know what B16/18 or H22B are… they might know SR20’s… they think they wild now with these 4-700hp cars… but they have no clue how much damage we were able to do with just 160-220 hp cars back in the days…
Just in time for quarantine!!
My thoughts exactly!!!
VHS tapes like this are the reason why I’m into cars and I make my own videos
18:07 GTR Concept!
Wonder what ever happened to Reza? He was something else! Back before all the Instagram car guys, there was Reza on Myspace in the early 2000s in brand new murcies and phantoms lol.
Looking back at these videos, I still find it insane how back in the early 2000's, you were able to easily find cars such as the 300zx or supra and be able to purchase them relatively cheap lol
Fucking memories that is all I have to say. My life was watching these things. 98 to 02 for the car scene was a great time! I miss it so much!
27:13 hey that's my local track Maple Grove Raceway, I live like 5 min from there!!!!!
Love it man, good to refresh it. Well done!
finally. thanks ✌🏻 good old time 😁
I have this & still watch it regularly
29:04 20 years later her then future son probably watches this today and is like "Mom, what the fuck" :D
Classic
Sick upload. That 996 Turbo when they talk about the street tuner challenge was dirty! All those cars were. Great era
On the gravel road auto abuse at 55, I do 80 plus on back dirt roads having fun like on the track, but we don’t get ramps here
Grew up on this shit!!! These DVD were the shit when they came out!!! Shoutout from the DMV!!!
2000s tuning culture was 10 times better than that modern clean stance crap! But that's a shame that this movie doesn't feature heavily modified cars with neon underglows and all that cool stuff, some cars are even stock!
Now you upload just as I quit my job which I did nothing on the weekends except watch movies.
Thanks a ton for uploading this!!!
Hell yeah. Thanks Dustin. I miss watching them.
man the 2000s looks fun as hell
Holy Shit!
My Probe was the exact same colour with the same rear spoiler but with 18 inch BBS's (which was a HUGE deal at the time) here in Australia at the exact same time
