I'm an infp and have an intj husband. It's like a court room everytime my feelings and his logic clashes. I think he's labeled me as insane but loves me anyway so it's been working for ten years. We both like our alone time, and we've been able to have meaningful and uninterrupted alone time sitting next to each other. It's wonderful honestly. 😊

Someone I used to work with asked me why I always have a mean look on my face. They said, "You're not a mean person but you always look so mean." I said, "I'm hoping it will dissuade social interaction." She stood there with a blank stare and then walked away.
daizzdy - LOL, I love that! Occasionally, people tell me that I come across as “scary” - I’m a 5’0”, 95 lb. woman - I just smile and tell them that I’ve spent a lifetime cultivating that persona. In reality, it *does* come naturally. 😈😉😎

So true. A guy pissed me off in high school. I formulated a plan that took 20 years to execute. The best part was when the plan was complete the guy had no idea that it was me that had #$^%#$ him over. Vengeance is truly a dish best served cold.

I like to keep things as casual and low-key as possible with "No thanks". Diffuses drama before it starts and trivializes the request.
My only problem with the “intj in high school” scene is that I think it would harder to write a paper that gets a C than it would be to write one that gets an A.
That's why you charge $20 and give the work to a C student for $10. You don't need to do any real work AND you don't need to write substandard drivel.
I also considered doing this but i always tend to do things the best i can so doing something "mediocre" just for the sake of the money doesnt look that appealing to me lol

I got huuuuuge flak from the otherwise 100% male staff - "that's uncalled for," "you're getting out of hand," "somebody took their bitch pills," etc. Which would be fair in an office setting IF you overlook the fact that a man we worked with had, not 2 minutes prior, been heard screaming into his phone that he was going to "fvcking k!ll you, you motherfvcker," and then outlining the ways in which he would. Guess what everyone had to say to him for his behavior? Yep, if you guessed there were crickets chirping in the deafening silence, you're correct!

INTJs are pretty secretive about it. I have several INTJ friends and I LOVE their sense of humor (partially because it's the same type of weird as my INFJ humor😅). It just takes them a while to feel comfortable showing it. Sadly, since many have trouble earning INTJs' trust, many don't even realize they have a sense of humor, much less one so amusing. 😢

lol "do not disturb sign is my face" is hilarious. As an INTJ female, when my "do not disturb face" is turned on, I get a good eye work out rolling them when someone says "you'd be really pretty if you smile" I also love the "you must be in task mode" comment from my husband when I'm totally absorbed in a task, he interrupts, and I look up with a complete Mr. Spock emotionless face which seems to intimidate him and causes him to quietly back out of the room.
So, I will be married for 35 years this year...what kind of guy can put up with an INTJ female for so long? My INFP husband, who I still don't totally get or understand LOL

INTJ actually slap you with an attitude; cynical, confidence and outrageous.
Another relateble INTJ personality. We never want to lose on an arguement or in a debate.
It depends on how mature an INTJ person is and how evolved. If the other person lays out the bare facts and his or her logic is flawless to an INTJ, many INTJs would not only graciously accept "defeat", they would respect that person who beat them in an argument/debate and most of all, learn something new to increase their quest for knowledge. 🙂

@@user-pk5pl7ox1e Never-ending rejection. I'm exaggerating, obviously, but not much. We stand outside of society, never quite fitting in, because of our high IQ, rational thought, and big picture thinking. We have few friends and even fewer romantic relationships. We seem eerie and offputting to "normal" people because we see patterns that make it seem like we're borderline psychic. We come off as cold and robotic even though we really aren't. Our faces hide rather than reveal emotions, and we apparently blink less than other people (the death stare). We have a tendency to be right, and a willingness to point out the truth that most people wouldn't dare, even if they knew it. None of these things are intentional, it's just the way we're built. But they make for a hard life.

I'm an INTJ, i don't know why people think that I'm arrogant and rude, if I keep on smiling, people will think that I'm an mental patient, if I keep a normal face they think I'm mad what should I do?
I have found that people will almost always misunderstand me when they first meet me. But after a while they usually work out that I can be quite funny and insightful (as well as obnoxious when I'm passionate about something). Keep smiling, keep making an effort to interact even if it feels fake and eventually it will fall into place.

There’s a bit too much truth to these. I remember when I broke my toe I went to the emergency room and when the doctor came in and asked what was wrong I said something along the lines of, “I have a broken toe, I just need you to go through the process of verifying so it can be wrapped properly and I can get crutches or a brace for it.” I’ll never forget the look on his face and he was even more amused when the X-ray came back. Very quick, efficient trip to the ER. 👍🏻👍🏻

@@strangerthingstoday I am INTJ married 30 years now to an ISTJ. Works very well for us. We complement each other in many ways and somehow ground me. I know I can spend too much time “in my head”. I have seen people calling ISTJ boring but being anything but boring myself it works well between us.
My husband is also likely an INTJ but won't take the test because what is a test going to tell him he doesn't already know...
My wife took quite some time figuring out that more than half the time I was smiling it was actually a sarcastic smile as a stand-in for a mean comment I had in my mind.

My female is an INFJ and the complementary behavior of both of us is very nice to have. I do not deal with emotions well and she does. She does not deal with tough calculated decisions well and I do. This is why I am marrying her because I can honestly not stand anyone else enough to entertain the idea of being together for life. She is the best part of my life.
INTJ female here and I've known 2 INFJs personally, my sister and my son. The only thing that I don't like about them is how much into the fantasy world they are. I can't stand that world. Dragons, unicorns, and mermaids aren't freakin real!!! UGH!!! Lol
