What a hoot! A true mad genius! I think Trong could have talked about his creations for hours. This is the type of guy you like to support. I will be adding some of his gear to my brew tools soon.

Great show ! I tried making my own floating dip tubes several years ago and the results were not very good. I happened on Trongs Flotit by accident about 2 years ago. They work great and the stainless steel dip tubes are the best. I now have 6 of his units and plan on getting more to replace all my regular dip tubes. We need more inventors like Trong.
I just started using two FLOTits and it's been great so far! I agree - we need more inventors like Trong.

Great show. Trong is such an interesting and creative person. His mind works in ways that most people can't comprehend. I've been using his Flotit dip tubes since 2020 and use one in each of my 7 kegs as well as one in my SS fermenter. They work very well when doing a closed transfer to a serving keg. I agree with others, we need more innovators like Trong.
I'm telling y'all - I'm gonna try to get him to do maybe a monthly segment we could publish on our channel. He's a very fascinating person and I would love for more people to get to know him!

Hahaha yes he did! I never really thought about it until he pointed out that it isn't "truly" an all-in-one if you still require additional vessels/equipment.
I religiously use the Spundit 2.0 and Flotit 2.0 in all my vessels. Mr. Trong makes great tools. When can we get our hands on the Spundit 2.1 Jellyfish?

Just ordered a FlotIt 2.0 so I can convert one of my ball lock kegs into a pressure fermenter without having to resort to the 'just cut your liquid out dip tube an inch or two shorter' route that so many other homebrewers suggest.
Great interview! I’ve been using the float it and MoaT. This interview made me go to the website and buy the spundit with the FERMonitor. I’ve never pressure fermented an ale before due to how it suppresses esters. However, going to give it a try once I get the spundit! Cheers
