fun fact about cup size, there is a lawsuit file by a waitress because her insurance refuse to paid for chest enhancement as according to the insurance, that is cosmetic surgery to please her image, but the waitress was able to proof that ever since she got a f cup installed, her tips increase about 60%, so it's part of the uniform for her job and not just a cosmetic surgery to please her self image... and the court side with her..
I use this episode all the time in my high school biology classes... some parents don't like it, but the students love it as an opener to this part of Eleventh Grade Biology... or as one student said it this past semester, the REAL biochemistry...
@@Astharot90 When a spouse gets in trouble at home, it’s sometimes referred to being in the dog house, as though they’ve been kicked out and have to share shelter with the dog.

As a European I find the US tipping culture disgusting. At some places you are forced to tip, you have no choice. If I were to tip, I'd rather tip the chef than the server.
I tip depending on how I liked the service (never depends on how server looks). And in a cafe where i usually drink my coffee they already know what I want and have it ready by the time I pay for it. So it certainly deserves some tip. However when there is an overpriced restaurant (if I go to one) I won't tip since they already done it by overpricing their food. Unless it is really a great place.
36:05 Too bad the Mythbusters didn't delve into why it's more acceptable for women to berate men than vise versa. If this was a room of men booing unattractive women there'd be hell to pay.
Fun fact. Humans are the only mamals who have breasts showing all the time. For the rest of the mamals, their breasts only begin growing while pregnant, and they shrink back down after breastfeeding.
The "cafe manager" score stayed the same as the "patent attorney", w don't understand money, what they care about is if he has authority over others (status)
Why are they talking about average results when every one took only 1 test with person of same sex and then 1 with a person of different sex? How can anyone show and average result of something, when there is only 1 result? Like Adam says at 9:05 "she averaged 54 seconds the first time...." . But there was only 1 test, there was no other test to make an average from. That woman simply completed test in 54 seconds, not made an average over bunch of tests.
That income myth was pretty badly made. I am sure it would be confirmed either way, but I can think of multiple issues, like how all of the attractive jobs were ALL given to a second group of women. Who also were allowed to influence each other. In addition, a job tells a lot about the personality of the person. You'd need to make it JUST about the money to actually confirm the myth.
The same can be said for pheromones. It's not busted, it showed that pheromones have a significant impact. It can either strongly attract or repeal. Which is the usual statement. Then they used a skewed statement to bust it: pheromones always attract. As for the Stroop task, it was flawed. The woman and man were not hyper sexualized. If they asked help for a risky situation, then the myth would not have been busted either. It seems like they wanted to reach a middle ground conclusion.
I remember she talked about it in the aftershow. "I don't blame men for looking at them [the enlarged breasts]. I would have been looking at them too. They were completely ridiculous!"
Not necessarily in like a "people should file restraining orders" kinda way, but in a Lot of episodes he's making flirty passes at Kari. I definitely didn't notice it watching as a kid but it's Super uncomfortable as an adult.
That one abt men and their money is so wrong. They should just put their monthly income or sth not the job they have. There's a difference between a surgeon and lets say crypto currency businessman or whatever...

So waitresses have to sexually attract the customers to earn a decent living and every bar is basically a hooters?

@@zerocalvin Exactly, sexually exploiting women has such a long history that some women don't bother being exploited if the money is right.

That's Episode 220 "Laws of Attraction" (2014)

This channel does this regularly
I just read the thumbnail. 👍

I just wonder if Karri got to keep her tips!!
I’d like to see how that tip one would do where I live here in Britain, tipping culture here is different and this may be reflected in the results.
Did you say Bigger Tips or ..... 😆😆😆

Anyone else notice the Greater Male Variability Hypothesis at 8.23?
26:15 Too bad they couldn't say it was "BUSTed" ...
They were assuming all the patrons were straight 😅I'd have tipped more than the men at any size, she is such a sweetie 💕
Well they did say that it seemed to have a greater effect on women's tipping
10:24 I admit, I agree with Grant. 😅

An incredibly silly and fun episode
Admittedly I’d fail both the control and the test in the Sroop test bc they are both hot
It is strange that they potentially didn't account for the possibility of subjects being LGBT+

Well. This episode sure hasn’t aged well. Love how they can be misogynistic AND homophobic at the same time.
When women complain about pay gap show them this video and then agree with them that you wouldn't mind if men were to get equal tip.
