Thanks man keep getting us updates on this one. I just saw 'em at the bike expo yesterday and being the Vulcan 650 rider for years now and yearning for something bit more powerful which kawa just fails to make this beautiful bike really ticles my fancy and damn the price being pretty reasonable I could get it right now. All my friends are like no no don't get a chinese bike but it really feels that these are much more premium and the thought that everything made there has to be crap might just be really outdated by now. I examined the bike closely and it looked so much better put together than any of the lower-end HD's. I'm just going to book some test rides on it and see but so far damn everything about this one just screams my dream bike.
I'm bipping around on a 125 cruiser, yesterday I found out that the waterproofs induce enough drag to take my top end from 60mph (63 in ideal conditions) to 55 and struggling. Hence I can't wait for the roads to be dry and stay dry.
I test rode one of these a couple of months ago. I liked it and for the money you can't go wrong. The only thing that put me off a bit was the exhaust grounding out. It may have been me just pushing a bit to hard. Ride safe bro🙂
I used to have a cruiser, loved the riding position but I found long distances were exhausting. A little screen goes a long way. I also had Speedo cramp once and now im banned from the swimming pool....
That looks a cracking bike but I'm still not sure about build quality, when you haven't got the funds to take a chance, I think it holds you back..Enjoy your break
Hiya m8, I took my GS out the other day for it's MOT. It was the first time out on a bike after getting knocked off in April 2020 and I felt well shaky to say the least. To be honest I don't really feel as robust after I've lost 17.5 stone and I just don't compress the rear shock when I'm sat on it so much now so I'm on tippy toes when I stop and I don't have the heft to get it off the side stand unless it's perfectly flat either. I need something like a cruiser now with forward controls so I can reach the floor and have my knackered knee in a comfy position. It's either that or I stop riding altogether. Take care 😊👍👍
Cleaned my lazy spar last week fcking still works left it all winter result bring on summer 2024 here weee fcking go live life enjoy life never know what's round the corner amen 🙏
Its certainly a good looking bike - but for the nearly £10,000 asking price you could buy a decent second hand big twin Harley-Davidson. Now that might not matter to some perspective buyers, they might not care about the badge, which is perfectly fair enough, but i know which one I'd prefer to be sitting on 🤷
when we were young guns, we used to try and do that bend as fast as we could on the old two strokes, gorsey lane was a great bit of road back in the day.
I got Vulcan 650 s, same riding position but even bit smaller and I can do 600km (so about what 400 miles) day no prob. Got some comfort upgrades on it like backrest and lowered the handlebars a bit and the wonder that's sheepskin thrown over the saddle which just does wonders both in cold and hot weather (warm in winter, breathy and preventing sweating in summer)
One more question if I may, did you had trouble cutting corners to the right. I mean did you touch that cannons to the ground? they are a bit lowish. If it does touch is it a deal breaker? do you feel you need to raise it a bit?
Out of my collection my Zontes has been used almost daily during 2023 and completed 6000 miles without any issues those who knock Chinese machines simple answer! SHEEP.
Hi Shaun, Looks like you do like the bike, looks steady on the motorway at 70........+++ do you put E5 or E10 in the bike. That looks a nice comfy ride no effort, it will swallow up the miles no problem on the A55 to Angelsey, have a good trip catch you soon, take care Mate
I don't think there is anything wrong with the bike and it being chinese, especcially if you are thinking of keeping it for a long time. The issue maybe if you plan to sell soon after purchase as other people perceptions might mean you lose more. But I think it's a good looking bike. Hope you both have a nice time 👍
Just watched it , u can clearly see i hold my throttle close to the end of the grip so can't comfortably reach it with my right thumb although i presume u know that if u ride
@@TinsonTour okay well I guess that makes sense if you have a large grip and hold it further out, and yeah I do ride and have been for many years, but never had that issue, I'll be honest I didn't actually notice just how far out you have your grip on the throttle, but re-watching I see were your gripping it.
You've obviously fallen in love with this bike but a few negatives you mentioned 1) did you really say 77 mile tank range? Not much good for touring in my opinion. 2) ditto no screen. 3) key under the mudguard to remove the seat, don't fancy that in messy conditions. 4) road crud thrown up on to the back of your helmet would annoy especially if the wet runs down your collar. Not a bad looking bike for what it is.
No the range was 70 to empty from what was in , fully fuelled its got a 260mile range , yeah the Allen key under the mudguard isn't ideal but carry my own tools at all times so not a deal breaker although the mud fling isn't best but no worse than some others , suzuki katana etc but still isn't the best
11:06 that's basically style over function with that exhaust for sure, if both pipes were in one it would be fine, but I just don't like the matt black look, it doesn't look quality compared to the rest of the bike
Hi shaun..that looks a bit of a animal. Out of my league...... bit of update (basic) lovely wife specialist (hospital today 1st ) brain shrinkage right side .going for m.r.i scan next also next week stroke clinic. He suspects wife having mini strokes. Nurse coming to home to access wife in normal Surrounds..ie tea making .cooking controls. Washing machine.....looking at possible dementia. Enjoy your weekend you and lovely faye The old fella
Great looking bike and looks good fun .
It's well surprised me
It’s a nice looking machine
I wouldn’t mind trying one of those out.
It's well worth a go

It's mega value and rides beautifully, just hope the build quality holds up but can't see why it wouldn't
Looks the bizz, now all you need is a open face and sixties music in the backgroundhave a cracking weekend
Absolutely... just got out the hot tub in Wales
Nice looker, but i agree with you should have twin clocks IMO, but i am old school. Have a great time glamping , be safe out there both.
Yeah think some twin clocks and maybe a tinted little screen would set it off
Hi Shaun.. you know you’ve packed right, when you have worn everything, twice!
Cracking looking bike! That’s from a bike snob! Nice one mate👍🏻
Haha cheers Ben much appreciated

Haha flapping clothes do actually make a difference on small bikes as we've noticed 🤣🤣
I test rode one of these a couple of months ago. I liked it and for the money you can't go wrong. The only thing that put me off a bit was the exhaust grounding out. It may have been me just pushing a bit to hard. Ride safe bro🙂
Yeah it grounds out without to much effort , but saying that the pegs on the BMW r18 ground out even easier
I used to have a cruiser, loved the riding position but I found long distances were exhausting. A little screen goes a long way. I also had Speedo cramp once and now im banned from the swimming pool....
Haha the world isn't ready for my speedo cramps..... them days are long behind me
Nice looking bike enjoy 🍻😎🏍️💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦
Loving it pal 👍
That looks a cracking bike but I'm still not sure about build quality, when you haven't got the funds to take a chance, I think it holds you back..Enjoy your break
Yeah that's prob the only thing holding me back although it does seem proper good quality

Yeah i hear u pal , pretty much same with me, bad back , bad rite shoulder and dodgy left knee
@@TinsonTour ageing is shite 😂😂😂
@@vainparasite you're right there Pal..., but stop riding, and you'll age even faster!
Great looking bike. Should decent range for cruiser. Fully loaded with two of us I can get 250 km on my VL1500 at 60-70 mph. Have fun.
Just done 110miles and still showing 136mile range left
Enjoy weekend mate 👍 🍻
Just got out the hot tub 👍🏍

Tbh I'd prefer this than a second hand HD but every1 to their own .. the badge means absolutely nothing to me
when we were young guns, we used to try and do that bend as fast as we could on the old two strokes, gorsey lane was a great bit of road back in the day.
Haha remember those days well pal
Don5 matter the badge, it's how it makes you feel!😊
Yep after owning 3 chinese bikes with no issues badges are and always have been irrelevant to us
Nice one shaun, have a great weekend 👍 😀 🙌.
Cheers pal just got out the hot tub
Not sure on the riding position, did a long trip once in that position and my back and arms were killing me for weeks after.
Just done 150miles in 1 hit was comfy as ... maybe a bigger trip on a hot day mite be a different story

Yeah the right side lower pipe grounds easy although , changing riding style a bit soon sorted it 👍🏍
Out of my collection my Zontes has been used almost daily during 2023 and completed 6000 miles without any issues those who knock Chinese machines simple answer! SHEEP.
Yeah we've owned 4 Chinese bikes now without a single problem

Always e5 pal even in the cars ... just got out the hot tub so chill time now
@@TinsonTour Same here mate use E5 in my old "06" Toyota Avensis and she got 160000 on the clock
Maybe a screen at the front to keep the wind off you.
Absolutely 100%

Can I just ask what you switched to sport using ya left hand for a right switch, why not push it with ya right hand 🤔

Yeah every 1 to their own , personally i think it looks decent for a standard pipe although ground clearance isn't best
I think in China this bike is called the Gadkin.
Yeah it's got a few different names all round the world , struggled to fault it if I'm honest

Yeah not the 1st to say that although not as quick
What happened to your other eye?
Retaing strap from the wagon hit me in the eye , it's even worse now
