I always thought it was sad she was labeled a "one hit wonder". All 3 of her albums are solid with wonderful songs. She needs to be bigger than she is and although sleeping satelite is a good song it's not all that Tasmin should be known for. If you only ever gave it a listen i highly recommend sitting down and putting her whole albums on for a listen, theres tons of hidden gems you'll be singing in years to come.
I love this woman's voice, her music, she moves me like no other musician and writer.....I feel every note and she strikes a cord with me ...every song...thank you Tasmin where ever you are.......
Tasmin, I don't normally sit around watching music channels, but I've just spent the whole day glued to 'Neil Fox's 100 Forgotten Gems of the 90s' on The Hits. Nostalgia heaven, and Sleeping Satellite was number one! Of course, it brought back memories of how much I loved your first two albums, so I Googled (and UA-camd) you. I'm delighted to see you're still putting out brilliant music. What a star!
On is a very good album. It's no Great Expectations, but I enjoyed it. Still have it on my iPod. I would love to see Tasmin and Seal do something together!
@Ronifah nope a one hit wonder in som countries but in germany she had to numbers 1s lol its like the weather girls lol there not one hit wonders they had 3 diffirent names lol and had hits with all names
i actually like the mood of this song very much. it's not the usual stuff you hear on the radio but probably should or would like to listen to! her songs don't suck, they are just not the type that get as much attention as lady gaga's, for example, but honestly.. I want to vomit when they play blondie AGAIN in the freakin' radio stations all over the planet.
That beat is totally addictive. Tasmin is a hidden treasure. How I've missed her!!

Have you not heard "in your care"?
haha, i had to google up what a metermaid actually is (in my country there's no such thing) and then i had to laugh about your short dialogue. ^^
Okay what's the punchline with the metermaid stuff?

It's funny.. The word "Sedan" means "then" or "later" in Swedish...
No offence taken. . I just think you've been misinformed :)
