      Because the hand guard isn’t smooth and lubed up with CLP

      Better optic, more mounting points for attachments like lasers and flashlights (night-fighting capability is essential nowadays), standard issue suppressor. A direct upgrade in every way (except weight but I'd say it's 100% worth it).
