Thank you so much for these ideas, especially the letter fluency cards for early finishers. Also the idea of early finishers and giving them enjoyable tasks.
I’m planning on becoming a teacher as a career changer and videos like this are invaluable to me since I’m not going to do the traditional classroom observations that someone getting an Education degree would do. Thank you for making this 🙏
I have been teaching upper grade for 15 years and will be teaching kinder for the first time. Thank you so much for sharing your centers set up and ideas. I'm excited to see all the possibilities! You have so much energy! 💚
This is great! I am a new teacher and have been stressing out about centers and guided reading but all the ideas you provide on here are just amazing. Thank you!
That was a lot but super helpful. I am trying to find a flow in my class but I struggle as the room we are in is really small. Wish me luck! and Thank you so much for sharing.
boom bye boom hahahah girl I feel you Im a kindergarten teacher also and I'm a youtuber but I need to do more updates on kinder on my class this is very entertaining. great stuff girl!
Thank you so much for this! I'm a first year teacher, my student teaching ended halfway through the semester because of COVID. and I have no idea how t each centers to kindergarteners (my student teaching was in 2nd grade). I love the ketchup center and I really like how they have free choice every day but if their work isn't done by Friday they have to do it. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Love how you are doing your centers! Just want to make sure I understand. 6 centers a day. 4 days a week. You have to change centers daily then? How do you manage to do this and not leave at 6 every day?
WOW! Love your well thought out centers and how you weave Leader in Me into everything. You should send in your Goal sheets to LIM. They have all the components of setting a great goal with lead measures and tracking all in one!
First of all thank you for sharing! You’re centers seems amazing. Question: how long do you have the kids at each center? Request: Could you right in the description the types of centers?
I have questions! 1. When do you teach the actual concept as a whole class? 2. Where do the group rotations session fit in into the school day - what do you do/what lessons do you do before the session and after the session or do you do this the whole day?? 3. How long is the groups session in the day?
Introduction to centers for teachers developing skills and new practices. New ideas for kindergarten centers; reflection practice for performance. Thank you
I really love this. Unfortunately in my district, so much time must be spent on a math and LA program on the IPad that there isn't time for anything like this.
How do you check thier work if it is an activity that requires manipulative? I have an assistant and right now we do a group of five a piece and the rest do free play until we swap but that's not working. How can I better my center rotation with both of us doing work with a handful of kids too?
I love your vlogs. I’m a pre-K teacher. Do you have any tips or suggestions of things I can add to my school year to help with their transition to kindergarten
I have a question about the return of work finished and the catch up folder. #1 Do they walk to the finished work bin and highlight their name after you ring the first bell then return to their center table before you ring the second bell to rotate? #2 What if yo have two centers with turn in work? Does it get chaotic at the turn in table? #3How do you make a child accountable if they put their work in the finished bin and they didn't finish it?
Thank you! This video was very timely. I'm looking to incorporate centers into my first grade class. How long are your centers, and how do you balance your centers with whole group instruction?
Hello, Thank you for watching. My centers are 15-20 minutes long. I have a total of 6 centers but I only rotate through 3 a day. I recently changed back to this routine because of time. I tried to do all 6 in one day but I felt rushed and although I would love to meet with every guided reading group each day I think 20 minute meaningful small group time is better than 10 minutes rushed. I do centers at the end of the day after all of my whole group instruction.
HI, Yes we do centers everyday. Some like computers and iPads stay the same. Math is typically different and then I have a different literacy skill they work on that is usually different it could be something with letters, sounds, cvc, rhyming etc.
Wonderful ideas...instead of the bell try a chime with the one silver bar that sits on the wooden holder ..trust me its much more pleasing to the kids ears.
Great video! Awesome ideas! Grade level change to kindergarten for me this year... which week into the beginning of the school year do you start practicing center rotations? First, second, third week? Thanks🤗
Can you share other ideas you use at each of your centers? Love how you shared starting them but would love to see some more ideas as you roll into week 2, 3, 4.
I like how you organize your centers. For the ketchup bins, I saw that you have six bins. How do the children know which bin to place their folder in? Are the six bins according to their groups? Sorry, I am little confused.
Hello, how often do you change the activities in the centers? Also, it was recommended to me to introduce two centers at a time. So should I have them practice rotating for a few days and then add actual activities but enough for each student to do? Last year was my first year teaching and I really want to stream line my system. I love the bear prop for the restroom! What kind of work do you give them that would require them to finish in centers? I struggled with making my students accountable during this time. Thank you for the video, it was very helpful!
In my classroom their centers activities change daily. I practice switching through all of my centers but start off with very simple task at each center. I may have play dough at a center, blocks at another just to get the students use to rotating.
Hello, I do not honestly have any control over the games that are downloaded on our iPads. Tech has to take our iPads and download them so they honestly are not used to their FULL capabilities. There are just tons of free math and reading games. What do you mean what do I use for writing?
HI there, I do each center for 12-15 minutes. I changed from 6 centers to 5 about 3 weeks ago. Last year I had a larger class size so I had to have 6 centers. Having a smaller class this year allowed me to do less groups so that I could meet with the students for a longer period of time.
Aloha Monique, I have a question about your centers. How many kids per center? How long do centers last? Do the kids work together in a center or is there enough materials for each kid in a group? This is my first year teaching kindergarten and thought this a cool way to help manage my class but donʻt know to much about centers. Mahalo, Keoni
Hi! This was so helpful. I have one question- you said you circle corrections that need to be made when they turn in their work. When do the students make those corrections? (Does it become homework or do you return them the next day? Etc)
They typically correct it when I hand it back to them. I give their work back at the end of the day around free choice / pack up so they correct it then.
I love your idea of preparing them ahead of time and walking them through the process. What a great idea!
Thank you so much for these ideas, especially the letter fluency cards for early finishers. Also the idea of early finishers and giving them enjoyable tasks.

Thank you so much! Don't stress its all about figuring out what works :)
Can I do this with a small class , 30 students and no assistant?
x o yes. Just time management and be organized
Love, love, love your energy!
It's 11 weeks into the school year and I haven't really figured out how I want to do my centers..🤦🏾♀️ This was really helpful! Thanks!
As a first year kinder teacher I LOVE THIS! SO SO HELPFUL!!
That was a lot but super helpful. I am trying to find a flow in my class but I struggle as the room we are in is really small. Wish me luck! and Thank you so much for sharing.

love the 1 ring, 2 ring, and 3 ring with centers. Also loved the "ketchup" folders and visual.
I'm new to kindergarten and I haven't received much guidance so this is so helpful
Thank for sharing your ideas. I love the "ketchup" idea.

Love it!! Great job!
love the idea
Thank you so much! This helped me so much!
what great ideas ! thanks for sharing
Where did you get your shirt? I love it!
I love your energy. My sons teachers are nothing like this. They seem to lack any passion and joy.
your classroom is adorable!

Thank you for sharing! How long does each center last?
I absolutely adore you!

How do you change centers or the students have the same centers every day
Thank you! This video was very timely. I'm looking to incorporate centers into my first grade class. How long are your centers, and how do you balance your centers with whole group instruction?

We do centers 4 days a week. I have a total of 5 centers. They are different each day.
Great tips!! Thank you!!
You are so fun and gave such great ideas! Thanks for sharing!! :-)
Thank you so much, thanks for watching!
I am a new teacher to Kindergarten. How long do they get in each station?
Fellow Kinder teacher here! This was extremely helpful. Question: how long do your students work in centers before switching?
Mine usually work for about 15-20 minutes :)
How long are the students at each center?
What do you do on the day you don’t have centers?
Hi! Can you tell me how long each center is? 10-15-20 minutes at each one? Oh, and do you change them out weekly or daily? Thanks!
If your center is one how do you group your kids? By level or do you call students randomly?
Amazing job!!!!
This is great. How long is each center? Are centers at the beginning of your day or the end of your day (after whole group learning)?
Can these same techniques work within a 1st grade classroom I am currently getting certified through an alternative program?
I am sure they can.
Where can you find the frog and bell?
Wonderful ideas...instead of the bell try a chime with the one silver bar that sits on the wooden holder ..trust me its much more pleasing to the kids ears.
Thanks for the tip. I love the bell :)
Wonderful!
I love your shirt!! Where can I get one?
Thank you for the center help.
How did you make your board in the back
So, so, so helpful!!! Thank you! Can you do a video on how you introduce your centers?
Great video! Awesome ideas! Grade level change to kindergarten for me this year... which week into the beginning of the school year do you start practicing center rotations? First, second, third week? Thanks🤗
Where can I find the STEM Bins? I didn’t see a link.
I liked your video so much! Where did you get the 7 Habit posters on the bulletin board behind You?
I found them a few years ago. I can't remember where. Sorry :(
Are you accepting interns? I would love to work/study under your guidance, your systems/routines are incredible foe maximizing efficiency in Kinder!
Where do you get your activities for your stem bins?
great video. as a new teacher im trying to plan everything out- do you teach lessons to or just do centers all day?
Can you share other ideas you use at each of your centers? Love how you shared starting them but would love to see some more ideas as you roll into week 2, 3, 4.
You mentioned you do 6 rotations in a day. How long are they in each station? Thx!!
Last year they were about 12 mins each. I ended up going down to 5 rotations by the end of the year at about 13 - 15 mins each.

can you explain the 7 habits???
When do you actually teach the concept? And how does the group rotation session fit into the rest of the school day
I love your video and your personality! Two question's though: how do the student know which group they start at each day and who's in their group?
Sala de aula dos meus sonhos. Parabéns pelo lindo trabalho!
am I missing something? I cannot find the links you spoke about. Thanks

You rock! thanks for this! What are in your stem bins?
HI!
I linked below where I purchased the product from. I use all of the materials that are in the product (legos, play dough, snap cubes, etc)
I love your channel...I'm also sharing math ideas in mine...love the colors
Thank you!
This was SUPER helpful thank you !!
Can your centers be use as daycare prek program centers??
Thats what i was wondering
Where can I find the fluency cards you showed
You are precious.
What are some of the iPad games you’ve downloaded. What do you use for writing.
Hello,
I do not honestly have any control over the games that are downloaded on our iPads. Tech has to take our iPads and download them so they honestly are not used to their FULL capabilities. There are just tons of free math and reading games.
What do you mean what do I use for writing?
do you make montossary
AWESOME!!!!
Great center ideas! I am considering doing the ketchup bins. One question, how long is each centers if you do 6 a day?
HI there, I do each center for 12-15 minutes. I changed from 6 centers to 5 about 3 weeks ago. Last year I had a larger class size so I had to have 6 centers. Having a smaller class this year allowed me to do less groups so that I could meet with the students for a longer period of time.
itsmoniquesworld ok, thanks! I have 23 students so I have to have 6 groups. I tried groups of six my first year and it was not good.
How much time do you spend going through all the centers each day?
I use to spend a lot of time but now that I have all my materials organized maybe 10 mins.
My centers have between 3-6 kids, they last 15 minutes. There is enough work for each kid to do their own work. Thank you for watching :)
I would love to see the Centers Pt 2 video you refer to. I've taught K for 10 years and got SOOOO much out of watching this video.
The part 2 is no longer available. Sorry about that!
What are popcorn words?
A sight word.
Just joined your channel
God she sounds as if she's on a runaway train. God help the kids who can't keep up with her.😖😖😖😖
I need an update since covid!!
Please show your stem bins
😢😢😢😢wow!
Where can I find that Ketchup bottle clipart
I just googled Ketchup and printed off a random one I found.
I really enjoy watching your video. I'm a teacher and I'd like to know is there way for me contact you. Thanks!
57 seconds in and I am still wondering if this video is about centers
26 kinders for one teacher? Or did you have a co-teacher or teacher’s aid?
👏👏
