    I'm still enjoying my crf300l. I bought it almost 3 years ago. I go exploring here in Portugal. I love the adventure. Thanks for the demonstration

    Rabaconda looks reat. I have only an old manual apparatus from the (road tubeless) racetrack, but I've never tried them with an Enduro tube tyre. For tube tyres I try to change them with my tyre levers, good training for me. Alas, the Bridgestone AX41 were really stiff. Happy New Year, Günter/Nürnberg

      @PatchedBandit  Місяць тому +1

      Yep. Everyone should know how to change with levers alone. Changing these spiked tires with kevers is annoying though 😅

    Try to get the tube out before completely removing the tire off the rim. You should be able to pull it with one hand and you eliminate the risk of pinching it or catching valve with the tire removal tool.

    Happy New Year Patched! 😎
    Super informative video and I applaud your brass balls for riding the 300L all winter. I’m in Canada and I can’t wrap my brain around riding my 300L at -15C.
    Kudos to you for being so brave.

      Happy new year! It's too much fun to stop during winter 😁 With good gear you can do it too but admittedly it is a bit expensive to buy all the winter cloting etc. Definitely worth it though 😄

    Pari niksiä...
    Käytän itse taka-akselia toisinpäin niin se on helpompi niputtaa ja löysätä kun mutteri on toisella puolella kuin tukijalka ja ratas.
    Tein myös ketjun kiristysmerkit pidemmälle ketjulle svingiin palikoiden yläpuolelle niin niitä on helpompi käyttää. Palikat vaihtaa samalla toisin päin että merkkilovet on yläpuolella missä siis itse tehdyt kiristysmerkit.😉
    Hauskoja ralleja 2025 kaikille.
    Talvikausi alkaa olla parhaimmillaan

      Joo totta se vois olla järkevä kääntää! Eniten mulla ärsyttää noi irtoholkit jotka ei meinaa millään pysyä paikallaan ku laittaa ratasta takasi 😅✌️ Hyvää uuttavuotta!

    Great video and setup! I wanted to ask is it possible to ride with the spiked tires on smaller roads to get to your trails? or do you transport the bike to the trails with a van? Hyvää uutta vuotta!

    • @PatchedBandit
      @PatchedBandit  Місяць тому +1

      Mostly on roads that have ice on top but I do transport the bike too with the van sometimes.

    What do you use to keep your head warm during winter months? I find this is the greatest challenge for me, especially that I am bald... The regular helmet won't do anymore even in the positive, single digit temperature.
