    Plus, my jaw dropped at the sound from that twin-neck. I have never heard anything like that come naturally from a guitar. My God, that's awesome.

      Years ago I had a twin neck bass/guitar and I got a similar sort of sound by playing the bass neck with the guitar pickups on.

    What an absolute golden bloke. Just hearing how humble and easy going the guy is makes me want to go out and buy all his albums. You can tell he's still such a guitar enthusiast.

    Lee does some of the best interviews around. Less interrogation and more conversation, and you really get to know the folks he's talking to. AFA Bernie, I could listen to that man play for days...RIP to one of the greats.

    8 years ago already. What a wonderful person and guitarist. I rediscovered Bernie just a year before he passed away.
    Still sad he just left Whitesnake when I saw them live in the early 80's. Thank you for these two videos!

      It's crazy how some of these life long players stay humble. My uncle plays every woodwind instrument perfectly. Plays piano and a little guitar. He never brings it up. I damn near have to pry it out of him LOL.

    Such a joy to sit in on this musical conversation. Captain Lee, this is the best I've heard you play. Bernie... I first heard you on Whitesnake's Come and Get It... and, then looked for every Whitesnake album in the back catalog I could find here in the states. Ain't Gonna Cry No More was a favorite, and so amazing to hear the sympathetic tones from the double neck, kinda like a sitar. Though, I've never tried to emulate your playing, I know you've had such a tremendous influence on my own musical journey. Thank you for the heart you so adeptly express through the strings.

    Always a huge pleasure to hear Bernie talk and play like this. Loved the sound of the double neck and while the Firebird is thin sounding in the right song and mix would add the second or third guitar parts nicely...

    This Gentleman seems to have honey on his fingers while he plays. Magic ! Like almost all geniouses, he’s also a nice humble person ! Apart from that, he has an unique knowledge and life experience...Lee and Bernie should do these sessions at least twice a year ! Priceless ! 🙌👏👏👏👏👏

    Not that familiar with Bernie with the exception of his '59 Beast but this is 1 of my favorite episodes you have ever done. Would be great if you do more episodes like this with their vintage guitars & stories.

    I’m kind of new to Anderson’s videos so I’ve watched a lot of videos in a short time. I have noticed how good a guitarist Lee has become since the start. Good show captain. It is refreshing to see such progress. Keep it up. Thanks for all the fun.

    I think the Tele palm rest was fitted to prevent palm muting back in the day when it wasn't a desirable thing to do. Nearly all lap steels and pedal steels had them for the same reason.

    Fantastic video Capt. Great to be able to jam with Bernie, nice intro and great interview and chat. As well as the guitar collection a comprehensive music collection, love the way the shelves are sagging under the weight of all that vinyl :)

    That was great....again! I l loved the first interview and as a result bought a PRS Bernie and have pledged for the book. The PRS is the sweetest sounding guitar I have and plays so well, amazing value. These new ones sound brilliant. A bit out of my price range I think but I would like one.......

    Merry Xmas to me!! What an amazing interview. Part II was just as epic as part I. My favorite part besides Bernie the Legend Marsden in whole was the 12-string Gibson, that was incredible. Great job, Lee, you gotta do a part III.
