Nice review. Samsung could have done better but chose not to. Seems they don't take their laptop business too seriously. This is worth maybe 800usd max. The surface laptop 7 seems a better device, but that horribly reflective screen is a turn off. You have to run at almost full brightness, which kills the battery quickly.
I think this is an excellent productivity laptop. My wife has one it's great for content consumption. I'm waiting for the Asus P16 for more demanding tasks. Asus claims 10 hours light to moderate tasks if true should be excellent. Too bad they don't have 120 htz, but at least a 4k OLED. Also, 4060 with AMD 370 for 1899 with 32 gb of ram and 1 tb storage is a great value. I would like you to compare Samsung with the Asus S 15 AMD. Should be a great thin and light battle.
I ordered that very configuration and can’t wait for it to come in. But you’d be surprised. I ran Lightroom classic on this and it ran incredibly well. Lots of bugs, but performance was excellent. Once native versions of apps come out, it’ll be insane. I’m looking forward to the p16 and g16 for gpu performance though
Samsung probably lowered the power of the Adreno GPU because it has a higher Gbps than my work laptop's Intel Iris Xe, and that powers that same monitor of mine at 7680x2160 at 120hz!
I have Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Pro 14" and it dropped 2% after 8 hours of sleep. It never hibernate and when i open lid its display turn on instantly in 1 seconds and then i use my finger to log in. In idle desktop, its IntelCoreUltra 5 125H SOC consumes 1.6W
Thank you for the video. I have a question. I used the same laptop at a Samsung showroom, and there was a strange blur (especially the text) on the start menu. I checked and changed the settings to see if anything worked, but nothing did. Neither the store personnel were able to help. Could you please let me know if you notice any blur at 200% (recommended) scaling?
I didn't notice any blur. If you have incredibly excellent vision you might be seeing the unusual sub pixel layout on it. But I didn't notice it in my use. The resolution is really high too. Have you seen other OLED laptops? Are you seeing the same blue there too?
@@consumertechwarehouse Thanks for your response. The blur on the display was really noticeable. My gf who can't tell any difference also noticed, The store assistant thought it might be an issue with the display model. I compared it to my Asus OLED laptop. except the start menu no where else I noticed the blur tbh, which was weird.
Oh maybe it was an isolated issue. But overall I found the screen to be fantastic with both spreadsheets and watching UA-cam and movies on the streaming platforms
So can you try ark survival ascendent with all settings on 1080 p (bcus this machine can’t handle it at 1440p) and minecraft with optifine , distant horizon mod and sesu renewed shaders on 1440p It will be a great help for me !
In my humble opinion, Samsung used to make great laptops, now they do it because they're crazy and they want it to be good, so what if they make them heavier and heavier, they're not suitable for anything and it's easy to damage the screens or casings.
I got the 14" because of the trackpad. I love it! It's a much better-looking and more portable laptop.

Lunar Lake is coming with massive battery life gains.
Lunar Lake will show ARM is useless.

Make surface laptop 7 15" vs galaxy book edge 16" please, I would like to buy a computer but I'm hesitating between the two
I sent back the galaxy book. But I'll say this. Other than the larger trackpad and the OLED screen, the surface book is better in every thing else
Im sad becauae I love the color but Im not sure if it's good for games I play because it uses snapdragon which is new to computers I think
Yeah if you're into gaming, maybe look into the version with the core ultra
I am getting great BATTERY LIFE from my Intel Galaxy Book 4 Pro. I also did BATTERY drain test.
Brother i had a request related that msi hx 18 gaming test ?
I sold the titan yesterday sorry
Do you have razer 16 4090 ?

Can it run microsoft office?
Yeah it does that really well. I use lots of big spreadsheets at work and it handles it amazingly

You sound crazy.
