I’ve never been so jealous! The things we appreciate as moms/house wives! I love person too. I absolutely love the smell of the green pods that they make (not the fresh linen scent, the other one) and the original liquid is just the definition of a clean smell!

I always have a samsung washing machine top loading
OMG I purchased my Samsung washer and dryer 6 months ago and I love it and I also had to buy a stool so I can reach the bottom of it. I'm 5' 3 and happy I'm not alone with the stool part. Lol🤣 P.S and we also have to be careful and not hit our heads on the basin.

Why do you I feel like the clothes are not hot when I take them out. I also chose the high heat to run the small load for a short time but the clothes are damp still
Prob not hot because of the cool down at the end of cycle AND put it on VERY DRY
You know for your detergent cups you can bring the rinse sink down turn on the aqua jet and rinse out your cup
Mhm! But if you don’t have time to do that you can just throw it in the washer 😃
Orrrr you can just put the soap in the tray without the cup lol

I love Samsung, anything I have ever bought from Samsung has been a dependable product. I love the top loaders as opposed to the front loaders. This is a beautiful set and I would have picked the same exact color, I just think it looks so high end. I am 5'4" so I would probably need a step stool too lol! I have this same set too. I do love them. I also have to use a stepstool to get the wash out lol! The only issue we had was with the dryer. It had the dryer wheels go bad and caused the belt to break. This thankfully happened right before the year warranty was up.
Kathie Roye we did get the extender 3 or 4 year warranty which we do on all major appliances. But good to know. Thanks for watching 😁

I bought these because my w/d are in my bedroom and I was replacing a black set which now are hard to find (white set would be an eyesore) This had half horrible reviews and half great reviews. It was delivered yesterday and I wish I had seen this because I would not have been so scared of the bad reviews. Its so beautiful after I saw it everything else looked so less stylish, which means a lot to me, visible that it is. Thanx so much for your vote of confidence. BTW I did read that someone short like me uses tongs to removed the lowest laundry. I noticed you just threw clothes in, everyone says to line around the perimeter, and that things get tangled, have dry spots, don't come clean. I will experiment today. Blessings to you.
I hope you enjoy your set Barbara! I have been using my everyday since it was delivered 9 mo ago and have not had any issues. I did grab a pair of tongs to use for hard to reach stuff and they work great!
I have a similar set of washer and dryer. I finally ended up buying myself a long pair of tongs to scoop up the laundry out of the washer! LOL. But seriously, that was the best thing I ever did because now it’s no problem.

I had a top load washer , it only used a small amount of water but the clothes felt dirty . How much water does it mm dispense?
Thank You for your review! I just received my set today in the same color as yours. I was a little confused about how it washed with such a small amount of water. I had an older Whirlpool with agitator in the middle and it would fill to the top with water. When I started this one I wasn't sure if it was gonna wash properly, but it did to my surprise, even what seemed like 2 gallons of water LOL! But I love my washer and dryer now! I have been washing since this morning 10 a.m May 25, 2021. Lots of stuff to wash...old machine broke down. So Thanks again I really appreciate you and your review! I now feel better about my purchase that I made!! ..... By the way.....I purchased mine at Costco, for those who want to know :)

I just purchased this set and I put in my first load I'm watching it wash and one the water isn't fully covering the clothes and I'm noticing that it moves very slow back and forth and the clothes don't even move around they are still in the same spot. Is it suppose to be like that????? Can anybody please share experiences. Thank you
That's a really nice set. We bought a really nice LG set in the graphite color for the new house. I love it. I also had the same issue with being too short for the large, deep washer barrel. I use a grabber tool to reach items I can't reach. Easy fix! I really do like your washer/dryer set. Glad you are enjoying it!

I agree about front loaders. The rubbery boot seal can get moldy and make your clothes smell the same.
I want a top loader sooo bad. I hate my front loader. Hoping to sell my house soon so I can get new appliances... lol
Amanda's Daily Dish our LG front loaders worked fine, but they were more high maintenance since I had to clean the glass doors and rubber rim constantly.
I can relate I cannot stand my front loaders, the washer gives us endless issues including leaking ongoing.

Brittany Ivey What do you think so far? I need to buy because our dryer just broke and honestly they are probably 20 years old if not more. My wife originally liked the idea of the sink thing because we don’t have a slip sink. I was going to just go and buy it after watching this video and reading several comments, but the I clicked the link to Lowe’s and saw a lot of really negative reviews. So I decided to go to Samsung as well as Home Depot and again saw so many negative reviews. Lastly I went to Best Buy and while there are some negative reviews I actually saw an average review of 4.5 stars (which was a lot better than any other site. It was also on over 1100 reviews, which are a lot more than the other sites). So did you see these negative reviews? Do they concern you or did you take out the extended warranty? Unfortunately I’m going through a lot of health issues and I don’t need the headache of buying items that will cause more headaches. I really appreciate your help and really hope you’re enjoying them! Thanks again!
@@Scott13131 I'm honestly loving them!! I've had so much laundry to catch up on from my whirlpools breaking down over a year ago. The sink really helps me with stains seeing as I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old who get into EVERYTHING. I would make sure to distribute the clothes evenly when loading so it doesnt throw it off balance during the spin cycle. It lets me know when to clean it and I personally have not had any issues with it so far. The manuals they come with I'd recommend keeping on hand.
@@Scott13131 I saw the reviews and honestly hesitated for the longest time seeing as I dont have a lot of money and would prefer something to last. I know that a lot of those are older as well and they should have fixed the problems by now. I got mine at best buy and decided to be safe than sorry and get the extended warranty. Because im paranoid. But im really glad I got them. Fair warning though, the ending tone is a little long but I personally dont mind it seeing as sometimes I didnt even remember I had a load in because it can be quiet. But if you dont like it, the machines have an option to turn the sound off.

I want this but wish it had an agitator. Contrary to what the "experts" say, agitation does clean better. In order for grime to "loosen", the fabric needs to move around in different directions.
No one says agitator doesn't clean well, the fact is that agitator cause far more wear and tear on clothes over time

Glad I found this cause we are couponers and we have about 500 bottles of regular detergent and needed large washer for king comforter. All we could find were he 6.0 cu units in which we couldn’t use regular detergent. I was going to buy the Maytag 6.0 unit today but couldn’t cause I was sent back out on my job. I will be buying these instead.

My girlfriend washes her underwear mostly by hand. I just toss all my stuff in the washer. The Wash basin is a nice touch but I wasn't willing to spend more for it. I think both my SAMSUNG machines were $599 each on sale.

GradysMom I think I did. Best Buy had them for 699 each and since I bought the washer and dryer they gave me a $200 gift card! But after measuring, it’s going to take some work getting them to fit just right. I’m looking I to a recessed dryer vent. Other wise it’s going to stick out about 4” past where the other one was. It’ll be worth it

I have read a few reviews that say clothes aren’t washing and that comforters don’t even get wet all the way. Have you experienced this so far? We just ordered these today and didn’t do my homework prior to and wanted to ask someone who has recently purchased.
@@nataly90388 I'm only 1 person but we've had this set for 11 months, we use it daily. I haven't had any issues with our clothes not being wet/clean and I've washed our comforter and our son's comforter multiple times without any issues. Good luck!

I Know that this may be an odd question. Can you turn on the light in the dryer while it's running? Sometimes I don't get everything out of my pockets and I can hear it slamming around in the dryer while it's running. It would be nice to be able to see what it is and where it might have gone instead of digging through the clothes trying to find it LOL.

u might want to re-think on that one. I have a Samsung like tis one, but just a different style. I use it per the manufacturer recommendations, and I still get poor quality. I would have loved to get the LG Front loaders.
When we were in the market for a new set, I had my eyes on this exact set but my hubby wasn’t comfortable with the brand, bc he heard a lot of peoples sets were catching fire. I know everything gets better with time lol. I love how quiet it is:)
Crystal Horton how were they catching fire? I know the older models had issues with the spin on the washers causing them to expode

We used to have a Samsung that broke down all the time. Maybe this one is a better model.
I've heard about that but not just with Samsung. But this particular model I hadn't heard that about, or else we wouldn't have purchased them. We love this set so far and hope to get many many years of use from them 😁

Don’t wanna be a buzz kill.... but there was a lot of Samsung top loaders recalled because the lid could come off on the spin cycle, there’s a lot of UA-cam videos so I would advise you to check your model,

Why take a shower when u can just hop, spin and clean yourself in the washing machine?
I had one of these types of washers and the issue i continued to have was that it ALWAYS wld roll under an item and wrap it around all the other items. If u can understand what i mean. This wld stretch items and offset the weight preventing spinning out water and preventing proper washing of everything. It said i cld wash my king size comforters, blankets, sheets, etc but just 1 blanket alone wld still roll under all the way around. I used it for all of 2mo and it just didnt perform. I had issue w every single load i washed. This was when these types of machines 1st hit the market so they hv probably been improved in functionality since i had mine. I wld hv to actually see them performing before i wld consider them again. Also, mine was Maytag not Samsung. LOL u mentioned the washer walk. lol My front load is nortorious for doing this with larger or heavier loads.
Angels Haven yes I'm sure the new models have been fixed of problems like that. I've had stuff happen with previous appliances when I bought a new model that had just been released. Just like vehicles appliances are glitchy.

Very similar to the Maytag Bravo collection. We have them and they are amazing. The washer has the same huge drum and no agitator.

I got my washer 2018 due to we have a king size bed. But yes my lady said the same thing on getting clothes out of the washer because she's 5'6 and can't reach and I'm 6'3 so I laugh at the part. We love it , it's the dryer next.

I have a SAMSUNG top loader similar to this but alot worse. It doesn't clean the cloths like samsung says it does. I follow all manufacturers recommendations, and even put in smaller loads, it won't clean. The dryer doesn't dry well, it take about an hour and thirty minutes to dry, and to get a decent clean, I set the washer to heavy duty for an hour and ten-twenty minute wash. I also use a WHIRLPOOL front load washing machine from 2004 and it take 30-40 minutes to wash and 30 minutes to dry in the matching dryer. I love the front loaders and will continue to use them. I am wanting to upgrade to the LG front load washers and I was hoping you could share to me some key pointers from your front loading set. I know about the door seal and smell.
I am sorry to hear about your set, that sucks!!! By chance do you think you could have gotten a defective set? Have you contacted the company at all? As far as our old LG set I did like it. The only reason we didn't keep it when we moved back to NY is the people who bought our old house wanted the set to stay with the house. I didn't like the maintenance of them (the smell and seal had to be dealt with) which is why I went back to a top loader. Also the LG ones don't hold as much as my current set. Hope that helps and good luck!
@@GradysMom I don't think it is defective. I have been changing up how I do the laundry based on clothing weight. Your old LG were the 4.5 cu.ft front load washer with steam and cold wash technology. Your current washer is the Samsung 5.2 cu.ft top load washer with Steam and active wash. I have a more basic model of your samsung with the integrated controls. I know that LG makes a 5.2 cu.ft front loader with everything your old LG had plus turbowash. LG even makes one bigger than that. The LG Signature 5.8 cu.ft front loader, all touch screen, with all the bells and whisles.
@@GradysMom Well, the dryer is now on its last leg. It keeps getting louder, the dry time for things like towels/bedding is 3 hours, and it literally RIPPED the back cloth thing that goes around the drum, out. The washer hasn't changed, except it is shaking more and more. How is your set holding up?

I find the drain pump to be a bit loud during the spin cycle. Wash is quiet but the drain is really loud imo. I'm starting to wonder if mine had a defective drain pump since most purple seem to say it's quiet.
Does it give you problems with the balance. Our keeps adding a rince cycle and keeps getting unbalanced

I do a lot of hand washed items. Is the top wash area a place that you would use to do hand washed items?
I just purchased this and am using for the first time today. I came here looking for a usage tutorial. I do have a question. Does the cycle indicator light blink for the duration of the load or is it supposed to go solid at some point? Mine blinks the whole time. Also, i don't mind having to use a step stool to unload my washer but i keep bumping my head on the wash basin lol!
