I have a question, Is the dryer suppose to stop and go or no? Because mine starts off fine but then In between cycle, it stops for few seconds and then starts again and on and on….but it finishes the cycle and clothes get dried?? is that an issue? Or it’s suppose to do that? My dryer is model: dv42h5000ew/a3
If you mean the heat goes on and off. Yes thats normal. If you mean de motor stops spinning and then comes back. No thats not normal. That might be a faulty motor or Main PCB

@@exoticneena The Fire flame should stay on for about a minute firts time and then turn on again for at least 45 seconds depending on the model. But if gets hot and you think is not hot enough the it should be the Hi limited Thermostat
In must models normally wont let select some of the different temperatures in Auto Cycles. But if it does work on Time Drye cycles then either the mini switch is bad or the Sub PCB micom is bad.
