Hey bud. Can you recommend a cod rod n reel setup. Im planning on buying a new setup for My brother and I. We both currently run (brother) shimano slx 150 dc and (me) the shimano curado 150 dc. I use a 6ft6 rod he using a 6ft rod. And suggestions on a setup we could use for only cod target fishing ?

I like the 6’6 8-15kg TT black adder rod and Okuma Komodo 273 reel

Hey mate, I reckon the kookaburras often sing before rain so it could definitely mean a pressure change which can effect the bite
