I miss the old Now, Now and the old Cacie, her hair was so fucking cool and the music was so relaxing and smooth. This video will always be one of my favorites in the entire world
This host is SO absurdly nice and kind, like the most enjoyable fellow. Everytime I watch it, I feel like becoming friends with him would be a lifetime achievement.
2012. Playing indie rock with my mates, chess vans on feet, cheap telecaster in hands, indie-emo crazy hairstyles, slim jeans. Bunch of kids having the best fun in their life on indie band shows. Gosh i miss those times so much:( hope this culture will come back some day.... and in 2020 i just discovered The very fukin best indie band I've ever seen. How could i miss it. How is it possible that they are not huge stars? They deserve it. Best indie ever.... this best performance on audiotree
i love everything from this era 2010s music, people, clothes, social networks (my space) young people from this era seemed to have better fun. Nowadays 2020s people seem to care more about social networks, likes, twitter, instagram, and Cancel culture....
My god! I love the feeling when you discover something new that is so good that it's giving you goose bumps and this stupid smile on your face. Thank you Now, now. Thank you Audiotree.
it's a shame that I won't get to see Jess and Cacie together on a stage.. :/ plus they would have to come to the Czech Republic for me to see them live, or somewhere close.. hoping for that European tour.. :)
meterspecialist the guy who does these always does a great job. Idk if it's a different person but every live session people say the same compliment it's great
this whole session is completely incredible, and shout out to the interviewer for asking if they could play one more song since dead oaks is my absolute favourite now, now song!I wish they'd release another album but at this point it seems almost certain that they never will... but at least we have the masterpiece that is threads
yeah, i saw! it's pretty exciting after 5 years, but i'm not too sure how I feel about the new single and new sound yet ... i guess so-so new music is better than nothing at all though
to be honest, I didn't particularly like it either. I'm so sad actually. With Abbott gone, too, we're probably never going to have more of this kind of Now, now.
The sound production is so spot-on wonderful. Everything sounds awesome. No wonder that I keep coming back to this recording to relive earlier times :)
Separate Rooms 10:18 sounds exactly the same as track, they’re that good. Been listening to this band ever since they really were a thing and their music is amazing I’d love for them to tour again I’ve never gotten the chance to ever see them and besides Real Estate who I just saw this is the other band I’ve always badly wanted to see live
I love this song because of this small but profound experience: While on tour with my band in Portland ME, on new years eve, I left and went out by myself to buy drugs. I was a serious drug addict back then and was totally miserable! But while I was by myself I had this band in my headphones as I drove through the outskirts of portland Maine. Something about being by myself for the first time in awhile... just a great memory
I remember download their Audiotree Live and put it on my blackberry, and watch it thousand times before I go to sleep. Now I feel nostalgic watching it back in 2020.
Thank you so muc for uploading!! this band is brilliant and I fell in love with them through this session. getting to watch the whole thing now, is awesome!!
Doesn't seem like they're a band anymore. Haven't heard any news in over a year about them and Jess and Cacie don't even follow each other on Twitter now
This is years too late but this is one of the most amazing sounding audiotree sessions I’ve ever heard! Awesome band that i never got to see live, but man is this amazing. All the feels 😀
Guys guys for real. Each time i listen to Threads i come here and play this amazing audio and film session again. Such a great work by both Now now and the Audiotree team! Thank you guys so so much
Does anyone know if this host does anything else these days? I'd love to see him in something else. Seriously was such a big part of my enjoyment of audiotree, great questions and always made a nourishing environment to facilitate open discussion
I saw them open for Minus the Bear and Circa Survive. It was their first show, I remember them saying that. They were great then and they are great Now, Meow!
Wow, just discovered it today. This music and band is really amazing. Full of melody and power at the same time. Alternative (Guitar-)Music as it should be. I know that they now look and sound different, but I like this sound way more 😊 Love to all you good-music-lovers and good luck to Audiotree, this show is good to getting to know artists, thank you
Even though that was posted a year ago I really hope they are still committing to it! Their FB page has just been Tancred updates over the past year, but I guess I was wrong. Let's hope they release some updates/samples/something sometime soon
33:35 - my MAN. fantastic album. unbelievable tone and precision. Also, Metric and Now, Now definitely go together. I listen to plenty of both, along with Rilo Kiley.
I dont usually comment on things but I'm about to finish highschool and this album got me through all those years. Like I mean yeah, its an album. its not like it solved all my problems but it made me feel like there were people like me in the world, I just felt comfort. So thanks Threads
Brad missed an excellent punnn A^ - "Earliest musical memory!" Bradley - "Play-Doh, that was my instrument..." A^ - "oh wow" Bradley - "Yeah, I played on Doh's like drums" .................. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I come back to this all the time because it's 10/10. I can listen to each song with no skips. Perfect album, perfect performance.
This album got me through high school
And even though it's been almost 10 years since the release I still think Threads is a masterpiece
it really is! its one of my favorite albums of all time and it feels like my comfort zone.
Threads is quite possibly my favorite album of all time. I'm 54, so I've heard some stuff, but this record never fails to charm me.
It is one of my favorite albums that just invokes deep feelings
Honestly this version of now now was amazing. I wish this still existed
yes
Yes and yes
Yeah, the new stuff is crap.
You girls complement each other
Its so sad and emo and not belonging to society and oh men
I miss the old Now, Now and the old Cacie, her hair was so fucking cool and the music was so relaxing and smooth. This video will always be one of my favorites in the entire world
me too bro :")
Same ),: but we all eventually have to change.
Loved them then and love them Now, Now! Ha ha. I miss Jess in the band! Hope she will come back.
If you follow Sombear you can really see that the new Now, Now really incorporates what they both enjoy the most.
@@tnsfan1980 x2 bro

Late reply but I totally agree
That’s Seth rogans brother.
DOES NOT COMPUTE na lmao
He also did La dispute Audiotree, it’s amazing!
This whole set brings me way back, there's something perfect here.
It's like sad, but pure and really cute at the same time.
Like a type of distorted tranquility.
Threads is MY album I can play from front to back that I think is unskippable. Good to hear theirs!
I come back and watch this set at least once a month.

this music is perfect for playing in the background during an existential crisis
One of the best lives I’ve ever seen. To bad this band and sound don’t exist anymore.
I miss you Now, Now.
when you're at home alone with covid and you're feeling destroyed, but you find some cool band to listen to for the rest of your life.
Ahh 2010-2012 was an unreal time for music. Miss these days.
Whenever I'm in a bad mood and need to chill out Now, Now is my go to. So chill.
My god! I love the feeling when you discover something new that is so good that it's giving you goose bumps and this stupid smile on your face. Thank you Now, now. Thank you Audiotree.
c4st323 such an inspiring group! I love the way their sound just /washes/ over you.
c4st323 you found them just in time for their new music :D. They are so good. See them live if you can

Years later I still love this
They beautifully captured the Feeling of being young. Im old now but this takes me right back to teenage years, love it
Earphones in, volume up and Magnet = goosebumps everytime. Then KC's voice at the end takes it to a spiritual place. Never get tired of this session.

July 2019 and I still come back to watch this sesh, it's just too incredible not to watch it again and again and again.
I am in love with this band. I love these folks and Warpaint.
This is so nostalgic to watch. Takes me right back.
I also love winter. I always get excited when I met others who are also down with real snow and coldness like all day long.
Uhuh! 😉
I remember download their Audiotree Live and put it on my blackberry, and watch it thousand times before I go to sleep. Now I feel nostalgic watching it back in 2020.
I can't stop listening to the part at 6:40, it's haunting me. (and the following part at 7:45 !)
Crazy to think that I first saw them open for FUN. in June 2012 and I still occasionally come back to listen to their music
they're so stunning, i hope their next record comes out soon because it's been a while
The definitive version of Now Now
April 6th, 2019 checking in
Thank you so muc for uploading!! this band is brilliant and I fell in love with them through this session. getting to watch the whole thing now, is awesome!!

this got me thru alot since it came out
Been waiting for this to get posted, love this band
Doesn't seem like they're a band anymore. Haven't heard any news in over a year about them and Jess and Cacie don't even follow each other on Twitter now
naturallythe1 yeah they've been split up for awhile, jess started a new band named Tancred, they have a KCRW session which is pretty sweet.
Tancred is alright but it's a bit too pop for my taste...I like pop punk, but Tancred reminds me of something Avril Lavigne used to put out
agreed, could not sink my teeth into it like now, now.

Im not tired of coming here to listen this session while working.....beautifull music

Love this host! Best questions and attitude towards the bands at Audiotree.

Guys guys for real. Each time i listen to Threads i come here and play this amazing audio and film session again. Such a great work by both Now now and the Audiotree team! Thank you guys so so much
The fact that in a subtle way the drum throne plays an A note at the very beggining... it amazes me.

*NOW, NOW* is my favorite band. They're so goood!
I love this band so much!! It's been a dream to watch them live
Love Now, Now. I'm so glad they're still doing the damn thing.

I deeply regret not seeing this band touring on this album. 100%, it stands the test of time.

When I first discovered Audiotree... and I haven't looked back since (tho' I have lost many hours of sleep).
Thanks Audiotree
God the nostalgia feels :'( this album, man.

Only discovered this band due to Tyler Joseph. I mean if it was not enough that this man saved my life, he also showed me this awesome band 😭❤️

Will there be a new Record? :O

They're writing a new record right now, have been for a while. They never split up but they have been inactive for a while
there's no concrete information they are actively writing a record.... sorry to burst your bubble
