    Just Want to say thank you very much for these videos. although their are many fine details that are making my head explode, like finding the difference between the .357 chassis and smaller calibers. I still appreciate the time you put aside from your busy schedule to help in any way you can. thanks

    Great video. I appreciate the time you took to make it. Hoping you will make another video showing the tools you use including the special tools along with the modifications made to the vise grips. Thank you again.

    There are so many tools involved in this operation that a complete tool list might be helpful before you even start 👀👍

    WHAT good is there in such a video, when we are told this version of the impact will NOT be available for 5-6 MONTHS! Ernest, I sincerely appreciate your skills and the time you take to do these videos, however it's like salt in an open wound! We that aren't on the FX "Kiss-up" list to get preferred treatment and be supplied with free goodies get little from these posting. Sorry - but those are the hard facts. C'ya next year.....when we actually CAN spend too much money on a computer....errrr I mean air gun, which will likely be out of date before it's delivered!

    4:30 shouldn’t you pull the long valve rod forward before you unscrew the power plenum? Doesn’t the valve rod get bent every half turn?

    • @papaoskie
      @papaoskie 4 місяці тому

      It is easier to remove the valve rod by removing first the c1 than the valve stem. And one thing once u damage or scratch the valve rod while removing the c1 and decided to pull out the valve rod, you might damage or scratch the plenum seal that might eventually cause leak.. replacing that plenum seal is very tricky unless you buy a new one!

    I was thinking of selling my Royale 25 as I can rebuild that down to the reg and I need to do it every 3 years or so. .... YET this M3 looks like a lot of work to maintain. We will see what the leak factor is and how often you need to rebuild. Maybe I should just keep the Royale that really only shoots 24.5 grain JSB's well. It has been a good rifle.

    Does m3 also have a removable valve seat just like the wildcat and crown mk2?

    I live in Sweden and shoot both stock and sometimes according to swedish laws without a license, 10J. Would it be possible to have one M3 and simply buy some parts and replace them when I want to shoot 10J? I can live with some prepping the day before if it saves me buying two different rifles.

    2 issues I having trouble with. I don't understand why my new M3 in 35 cal., when I go above 120 on the 2nd reg, my fps drops the higher I go ?My, settings are 185 on 1st reg. 110 on 2nd, 16pw, 5micro and 13.20 on VA. Also, my gun won't de cock or is catching on something. Seems like it needs to be greased. Have you had experience with this problem? Thanks for any advice.

    I have the mk3 .35cal. I have a small rubber ball leftover after reassembling. Where would that go? I believe it came out during the spring removal.

    • @goodboyringo9716
      @goodboyringo9716 3 роки тому +1

      The rubber ball goes into the spring under the black valve adjustment knob above the air tank.
      I seen this in a video , type in FX impact M3 slug power kit installation ( M3 slug tune part 1) ..... The video is by Airbuks
      I realize this video is for the slug kit but this ball may go there on your gun , if not disregard

    Hi, I have been enjoying your videos. I was attempting to remove the M3 shroud from the barrel by twisting and it unscrewed from the breech end. I removed the barrel/shroud from the rifle but cant seem to unscrew the shroud from the barrel. How can I safely grip the barrel to untwist the shroud? Thanks

    I am getting scared I may have made a bad choice for a complicated air rifle, I will try it and hope I don't have a bad experience, just too many whistles and bells.

    You didn’t strip to a bare block.? You didn’t remove the entire quick tune setup plus other bits so technically not a complete disassembly!

    Good vidéo Ernest, but .... never forget:
    too much technology on your fx airguns, purchase price too high,
    in short all this too commercial ....
    I just want an airifle good at everything at a reasonable price and easy to maintain.
    2 rifles are interesting: air venturi avenger is one top and evanix rex air tube for power and as a survival rifle.
