  • Jude Camplin & Chrissie Shaw managed to enrage the Dragons whilst pitching their idea for a women's construction business 'Eve'Olution Solutions'. Jude got into an intense exchange of blows when her "crusade" was battered by Dragons.
    An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

    How did she transform from a nervous wreck into the most arrogant person in the room?

    • @lavielemond
      @lavielemond 5 років тому +1503

      That's PRECISELY what I was thinking - as soon as her arrogance & passive aggression began to show, ANY remote hint of some empathy that she MAY have initially received from any of the Dragons was single-handedly destroyed by her truly revolting demeanour, after she battled her way through that very poor attempt at a pitch to them. She's just an incredibly unlikeable & defensive person who would ALWAYS play the victim card, as she so perfectly displayed when Theo tried to ascertain the structure of the TWO business percentages that they were trying to sell, using simple maths. Imagine having to work with that delightful bundle of joy!!

      She's the kinda person who cannot be wrong ever, it's always someone elses fault. She proves that at the end saying the reason she can't be successful is because she's a woman.
      She was flat out wrong saying they get 20% of her company by getting 15 of 1 company and 5 of the other. That's not 20% of a company, that's 15% of one company and 5% of the other. You don't add them together, that is very basic mathematics. If you have two dollars and I give you 15% of 1 and 5% of the other. I've given you 20cents, but 20 cents isn't 20% of 2 dollars. It's 10 percent. And this is assuming the value of both companies is the same, it's not though so it's like if I have two accounts one with $100 and one with $1000 and I give you 15 and 5 percent respectively. I'm giving you $65. that's not 20% of anything. If i flip the percentages i'm giving you $155. So she was flat wrong saying 15% and 5% is 20% and when he tried to show her that she just said "it's because I'm a woman".
