- And almost lost a finger! We spent a day on the ocean bringing in lobsters for a day of commercial lobster fishing. I was quite careful...Lobstermen don't mess around. Fortunately, Curt kept us safe, and we didn't mess with anybody else's lobster traps so nobody attacked us. But, I want to give a major thanks to Curt and his family for bringing us in and out in one piece.

Pretty awesome stuff. Curt is my cousin. Him and a bunch of my cousins were lucky enough to grow up on the coast of Maine. Pretty awesome to see them doing so great with their careers on the water.

My father passed away 2ish years ago. We had a bunch of family up in Maine and about 2-3 times a year we would go up there and spend time with our family. One of the main things we would do is eat lobster. Thanks for this, it really brought me back

Processing lobster is an interesting way, and deep fried lobster is really good, deep fried lobster is better then regular boiled lobster. Good job Nick for a catch, clean, and cook which can be difficult.

Curt is a great guys, he came to my high school (CEHS) 5 different times this year to teach us about his amazing work protecting the lobster and the lobster industry
I’m was born in Maine but now we have moved, we still go up to Maine every summer though, and every time we are there we have a big lobster night with all our neighbors up there

It was unreal seeing lobsterfishing off the shore of my home town. I never realized just how beautiful the coast really was.

You stabbed a live lobster and then put it in boiling water
I know it sounds morbid but you have to cook/boil lobsters alive to avoid getting sick or having diseases from the massive of bacteria they produce. You could potentially kill them with a knife before boiling but its recommended you boil them. If you think about it too much its going to make you sad so its better to treat the lobsters well and think about how you are protecting the environment by releasing the ones that breed.
