  • Dakar Senegal | I MADE IT! | What to see in Dakar! | Exploring Senegal | Dhaka to Dakar 52 Finale!
Folks this is IT! The final episode of my Dhaka to Dakar adventure is here! Come with me as I find my way to Dakar's Place d'Independence and declare (as it is true!) that I have made it! Over 21000 kilometres (since Dhaka), three months and 17 countries!
But there are still things to see and do! For example - checking out the beautiful island with a dark history of the slave trade, Ile de Goree, there's the Viallage Des Artes where local artists produce their work, the main cathedral, the Grand Mosque and more! See what Senegal's capital is all above!
    0:00 Place D'Independence Dakar!
1:53 Good Morning from Rond Point Gibraltar
    2:40 Dakar Grand Mosque
    3:47 Museum of Black Civilisations
    7:20 Ile de Goree
    9:32 Driving Through Dakar
    10:08 Village des Artes
    12:42 The LAST Day!
13:27 Wandering the deserted Dakar Streets on Eid
14:44 Cathedral Our Ladies of the Victories
16:27 Back at Place D'Independence for the final wrap!

Nice tour of Dakar, the black civilization museum looks good but my pick is "Village Des Artes" because of the sculptures they had in open.

Congratulations on completing your journey! Seems like traffic is quite the problem there - something many countries have in common. The Art Village was really interesting. Great song too!!

Your own Around the World in 80 days adventure. Someone was a theatre kid lol. I'm curious as to what mad you want to do specifically Dhaka to Dakar. Was it just the names? An interesting place for sure. I'm curious if Senegal is split in both terrain and culture. I know that the southern part of Senegal is more forested and jungle. This Northern area where Dakar is looks more desert like. Well done on completing your amazing trip.
