I've had a major problem with procrastination and what worked very well for me was mini habits. The book Mini Habits by Stephen Guise goes in depth into what it is all about.
As long as you are learning something from them, like this video in this case, you could categorize it as "studying" and add it to your schedule as learning material. So it's not just a massive waste of time
Great tips. I've tried alot of productivity increase programs. However, the way you guys present the steps seems seamless, practical and things the average person can accomplish. Thanks for sharing as you are helping my life personally and professionally :)
Some great advice, thanks for it. What struck me most is that when a UA-cam creator tells the audience that we are watching too much UA-cam (social media/TV) it's time to take note. That's somebody that believes in the message and is willing to say it despite having a vested interest to the contrary. #truth
Love how quickly you guys learn and are taking feedback from us followers :) Ben is smiling more!! Love your tips as always - especially tip number 2!!
Trying to do UA-cam on top of my normal Mom duties has made me cranky lately. Thank you for the reminder to Ask For Help! I've had a problem with that for as long as I can remember!
Good stuff. Got rid of cable ~6 years ago and haven't been happier. Watching Netflix, Amazon, etc. just doesn't seem to kill time in the same way TV does. And I'm watching what I really want to watch rather than just what's on.
I have a significant chunk of my life written out in an outline in general chronological order. Doing this allows me to work on the thing at the end of the tasklist to build up each of my goals. It's been pivotal in my ability to accomplish things quickly.
Find peers who feel similarly, study together, do basically everything together. It might feel stupid or artificial in the beginning but is super-effective in the end. If you lose too much time on transport, find a way to move closer to your school. If you have no such option, switch to extramural studies. Otherwise drop it.
If school is the problem, then I would suggest a few things: 1. Make sure you get enough sleep every night. 2. Make sure you have energy by eating good meals - breakfast and lunch are probably the most relevant for school. Bring enough good, some fruit and a water bottle. This will help your energy sooo much! 3. Be prepared. Find out what your classes are about, read the chapter beforehand or maybe just a summary. This will make your classes less overwhelming. Hope this helps!
What I really like about these guys is that they promote motivation & entrepreneurship without ruminating the hustle-crushing-it-mindset-big-business-mentality crap sort of thing
One of my most favourite videos yet. It helped that I could feel your passion in your words; I could feel that you really agreed with what you were saying.
I threw a rager at my house when my parents were away for a weekend. The police showed up, parents found out. They burned all my supreme and dope clothes and left me with the basics I NEED. First night I slept in the backyard, then I was moved into the garage. Instead of rocking yeezys and r1s to class, I rocked a 4 year old pair of beaten up brown Nike tennis shoes. The whole experience, although very deserving, was also very humbling. With a motive to become better and not being allowed to think about literally anything else, I saw so much more productivity. Interesting how humbling oneself (or being forced to be humbled) can actually show what you do and do not value. I was in there for about 6 months. In that time, I scored a 2600 on my SAT and made it into Harvard. Love the video Charisma, keep doing whatchur doing and I'll keep procrastinating from writing my english essay and writing fake ass stories.
Make a video about Marlon Brando...... or 10 videos about Marlon Brando!! He knew every type of bodylanguage and knew how to hook everyone, a pure genius! You can make a or more videos about HIM, the person, and you can make videos of his bodylanguage, influense, confidence etc from the characters he was and himself. Marlon Brando is the best actor ever, no doubts, and how he excpressed his characters is amazing. If there is someone you should multiple videos about is it Marlon Brando! Watch his movies and you will understand!
That moment when you are productive working on your own channel and some fiverr gigs and then suddenly a charisma on command video interrupts your progress. But hey education comes first, work second.

raise your hand if you're procrastinating by watching this video 😂 🙋
I see you have applied previous feedback, Ben's smile and a short introduction is working wonders! :) Also been waiting for this topic to show up on this channel for a while. Keep up the good work Ben and Charlie!
Have you considered doing a video about "The UA-cam Voice"? You know, the "voice" vloggers typically use to attract people into watching their videos. I'm curious to see what you have to say about it! :D
Time Vampire=Facebook Time Alien=UA-cam For me anyways. I get nothing done when I'd scroll the negativities on fB. But UA-cam I not only learn but I take that info and CREATE!! Lists definitely help me too! Great video thank you!!
Awesome video! I’ll do 10 min brainstorming on what’ll get me closer to achieving my vision and then chose what will make the most impact and takes least time to complete. Treat work like escape room? This is gold. I also have problem with perfectionism and your idea of stopping work right after a countdown timer of 1 hour is done is absolutely brilliant. I have a QUESTION! How you break your big tasks into smaller ones?
No excuses! The clock (timer) is a great idea, my problem is hitting off on the snooze alarm to many times. I am still an amateur-crastonator, I am well qualified to be a pro-crastinator.
To the escape room idea: It is also possible to turn the idea around, especially if you have a very clear set of tasks or if your tasks can be broken down into subtasks. Just define goals /tasksets for each timeperiod (like a day) and work on them until you finished them. I know the problem is some may let their finishing time expand again, but the benefit could be more time saving, since you will want to finish as fast as you can. Because after finishing your day is free! It works for me, but just try it!
Any recommendations for non-morning people? In other words, first thing in the morning would require me to get up earlier which isn't going to happen, mornings are hard enough as it is and that would lead to more sleep deprivation. If I sleep enough I should have enough energy after work but I also get the power of knowing this has been HANDLED very early in my day. I really enjoyed the video overall, great ideas.
johnchoshayes well this what i don't like about this chanel. They have stoped doing breakdown of charismatic persons. What's the point to be called Charisma on Command if you don't breakdown charismatic people anymore? Rampage by the way is charismatic
A friend of mine gave me one Blue Apron meal as a gift/trial. The box arrived, and I thought, “oh, no, a chore.” Then I spent the rest of the day preparing the 16 ingredient meal they sent me. It was the best pasta dish I’ve ever tasted, but it took me all day :-( not a good timesaver. Great idea for somebody who wants to learn how to cook, but blue apron is not a timesaver by any means (the packaging is also pretty wasteful, so if you’re trying to be environmentally friendly, I’d reconsider too)
In undergrad architecture school, the meanest professor's name was Bob. Bob never had anything nice to say, and instead of giving feedback on our work he would attack our character and our weak points without any advice on how to improve. You know, like we were paying thousands of dollars for. Even during the final review, which was typically more of a compilation of our semester than it was feedback-based, Bob would insult the students and taunt them about how they wouldn't make it in the field of architecture. People crying even during regular desk crit classes because of Bob was a common occurence. Anyway I haven't watched the video, just wanted to thank CoC for the concise direction of my next life task via this video's thumbnail.
I would like to ask: when talking about killing Bob, you say "Do the first thing of the list the first thing of the day", that includes before breakfast?
Personally, I don't like the mentality that you need to spend every second of your day being productive, or at least working on becoming *better* in some way. That's how you eventually get anxiety - just take the time you need to do what you gotta do and leave it at that
Been following since very early on. I suggest you to all my friends because the material you cover is so empowering and is easily applied to everyday life. 😊
I'm waiting for the video on how to stop procrastinating so I can add it to my watch later list.
This guy ^. My life in a nutshell.
Royal Penguins ahaahaa i thought i was the only one
Royal Penguins o
I've had a major problem with procrastination and what worked very well for me was mini habits. The book Mini Habits by Stephen Guise goes in depth into what it is all about.
They already made a video on procastination haha
1. Stop watching so many UA-cam videos
As long as you are learning something from them, like this video in this case, you could categorize it as "studying" and add it to your schedule as learning material. So it's not just a massive waste of time
Ben mentioned perfectionism limiting productivity. Could you guys make a video about tackling perfectionism?
Great tips. I've tried alot of productivity increase programs. However, the way you guys present the steps seems seamless, practical and things the average person can accomplish. Thanks for sharing as you are helping my life personally and professionally :)
~ Happy to share them Corey!
@ Charisma on Command, I agree.

Love this channel and the fact that now you can hammer out 2 videos a week, makes me really happy. Keep up the good work, Ben&Charlie!
Love how quickly you guys learn and are taking feedback from us followers :) Ben is smiling more!!
Love your tips as always - especially tip number 2!!
Tries to be productive and stop procrastination...
Immediately adds video to Watch Later tab...
Hey guys I finally got around to watching this video! One step closer!!
Lmao. True enough.
Step 1: increase youtube speed to 1.5x
Nah, get out of here. 2x speed is where it is AT.
I actually did this 😭😭😭
Increase the speed as high as you can while still being able to comprehend whatever you're watching.
Trying to do UA-cam on top of my normal Mom duties has made me cranky lately. Thank you for the reminder to Ask For Help! I've had a problem with that for as long as I can remember!

what if school is the thing that makes me useless afterwards?
THIS

skip school, build a business B-)
Productivity Tip: keep your smart phone on airplane mode until noon and get shit done in the morning
What I really like about these guys is that they promote motivation & entrepreneurship without ruminating the hustle-crushing-it-mindset-big-business-mentality crap sort of thing
One of the best lists of productivity lists I’ve come across. Very digestible and widely applicable. Great job as always, guys.
~ Awesome!
One of my most favourite videos yet. It helped that I could feel your passion in your words; I could feel that you really agreed with what you were saying.
Bookmarking this for when I get goals.
Going to work in Indian Film Project on the weekend. Really needed this..thanks!
~ Hope you find it helpful! Best of luck with the project :-)
Very cool Productivity list! This makes so much sense, thanks! 👍🙂👍
~ Glad you're digging it!
There are so many of these productivity lists. This is by far the best one.
~ Appreciate it!

"Hey, Steve, I'd love to come to this, but..."
*Fired*
That's the smoothest segway into a sponsor ever. That was sooo smooth, it was like fine art.
Anyone else appreciate these long takes on these videos?

Can you please do a video on Jack Sparrow's charm and how he lost it in the recent POTC movies????
I was a little skeptical to Ben in the beginning, but in this video he did very well and was very likable! Good job!!
Thanks!
Have you considered doing a video about "The UA-cam Voice"? You know, the "voice" vloggers typically use to attract people into watching their videos. I'm curious to see what you have to say about it! :D
mukukuku they made a charisma breakdown of Logan Paul, basically same thing
Time Vampire=Facebook
Time Alien=UA-cam
For me anyways. I get nothing done when I'd scroll the negativities on fB. But UA-cam I not only learn but I take that info and CREATE!! Lists definitely help me too! Great video thank you!!
Can I pay somebody to go to school for me?
If you make enough money you don't have to go to school
Awesome video! I’ll do 10 min brainstorming on what’ll get me closer to achieving my vision and then chose what will make the most impact and takes least time to complete.
Treat work like escape room? This is gold. I also have problem with perfectionism and your idea of stopping work right after a countdown timer of 1 hour is done is absolutely brilliant.
I have a QUESTION! How you break your big tasks into smaller ones?
Love the idea of a quick 60 second exercise jolt to leave you energized, not fatigued!
A little person could surf that hair wave, Ben. Also, loving the extra content you're adding.
Thank you so much for this extremely valuable video.
My pleasure!
No excuses! The clock (timer) is a great idea, my problem is hitting off on the snooze alarm to many times. I am still an amateur-crastonator, I am well qualified to be a pro-crastinator.
Could you guys do a character analysis of Gary Vaynerchuk? Please? :)
Working on it!
Yessss! Thanks! :D
these are actually very helpful, if we train ourselves to do them properly. great video!
Love the escape room idea - brilliant.

I gotta say I LOVE 2 videos a week 😭😍
Soooo excited about the new content!

This video basically takes all its ideas from the book "The four hour work week"
Ben really seems a lot more confident in their video - Keep up the good work!
really pumped after this video.
thanks
~ Awesome!
Man... This is so amazing. Thank you.
~ Glad you like it!
Outsourcing seems to be one of the most common themes behind advice on being successful. Time is a lot more valuable than money once you make enough.
Oh I am slaying Bob and those vampires like an angry Klingon. Thanks!
I'm watching this instead of starting my work!
Thank you guys!
The first thing I had to do was get over the fact that Charlie was wearing a grey shirt. Great video definitely needed that. I'm gonna go work now.
Is Ben your cousin or something? He kinda looks like you 👌
I thought I was going crazy
Starts watching video
Realize what i am doing
Close youtube and start reading for university
Hey Charlie, could you do a charisma breakdown of Joe Rogan?
johnchoshayes he's not charismatic at all
Baboojohn okay then, personality analysis? He talks for people almost daily in a podcast for 3+ hours after meeting them. He can carry a conversation
johnchoshayes well this what i don't like about this chanel. They have stoped doing breakdown of charismatic persons. What's the point to be called Charisma on Command if you don't breakdown charismatic people anymore? Rampage by the way is charismatic
johnchoshayes he's an amazing conversationalist, I'd love for some break down on that too :)
Yes please!
finding your flow ben! keep it up!
Fantastic one brother , keep up
Great work Ben, keep it up!
Everyone on this channel looks like a life sized Ken doll 🕺

Would love to see a Charisma Breakdown on Lin Manuel Miranda!
Thanks so much for this guide. Time management is a skill a fail at.
The blue apron thing required me to pay $30 for recipes. That's kind of a bait and switch guys.
loved Ben...
Charisma on command when is your next Q and A going to be?
Great advice, thank you!
