25:24 Major point, if you are wanting to buy this years version - the Galaxy book2 pro 360, while it is more durable, please avoid holding it from in between the hinges, especially when the screen is flipped all the way back in tablet mode. Even if you are gentle. I held mine vertically, in the middle of the hinges one day after I got it, and unfortunately I heard a crack. While there was no visible damage and there was no effect to the use, I noticed that the screen was able to be bent forwards and backwards in the portion between the hinges quite easily with the push of a finger. While, if you didn't put much pressure on this area, there would be no effect, I contacted samsung about this, and since it was still within 14 days from purchase, I got a replacement arranged, free of charge, once they receive this return, I should receive a new one. So just be cautious and never hold the laptop on the side of the hinges, and in-between them, especially when the screen is flipped back into tablet mode. Other than that, in the one day of use I got out of the one I had, I was pleasantly surprised, and I can say that this review is very accurate and the laptop is great apart from this one concern. While I would prefer a 1440p display, it is still just barely able to pull of being 1080p on a 15.6 inch model, if the laptop was any bigger than that, then it would be a different story. So again, if you hold the laptop in the air, hold it by the shorter sides, or near the edges of the long side, almost exactly on the hinges for safety. Enjoy!
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your experience 👍I'm so glad they're sending you out a new unit, that's awesome! I agree with everything you mentioned, it was spot on!
That's an amazing deal! It's well worth that kind of money all day long, you did good! There will be a lot of updates that come through the first couple weeks, so you'll likely notice it runs a little hot at first, and you'll hear the fans kick in quite a bit. Once all of those updates finally come through, everything calms down nicely and then this bad boy runs like a champ. Congrats on getting it at such a great price!
With the release of the new model, this video offers great points to watch out for especially for me, who knows nothing about the previous models but is looking to get the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360. Thank you so much for this!
Awesome video! I have the same laptop and love it. Very pleased that Samsung fixed all of the issues with last year's model. This is a fantastic machine.
Thank you so much for watching 👍It really is a nice machine, I have no real complaints honestly, and I usually have a lot to complain about with laptops, ha ha.
That's a great price! It's a great machine, I use mine daily and it just keeps going and going. If this is your first time having an OLED panel on a laptop, you're in for a real treat, it's super nice to look at. Be patient with it for like the first week, as it will install a bunch of updates in the background during this time, and it will get hot and the battery won't last as long as you'd expect. Once it gets completely caught up, it runs like a champ and barely gets warm. Thanks for stopping by and watching!
@@RADERTECH I am really considering the 13,3" with the HDMI port, because I need it, but God damn it's expensive. :P Because of the weight it even beats the Envy x360 with AMD ryzen processors.
The battery is amazing on this machine...i havent been using mines much and only charged it once since launch date and its still have battery life...its CRAZY!!!
Incredibly detailed video, easily the best review I've seen of this model on UA-cam. Have nearly been convinced to get it, except for one quandary: 13.3 vs 15.6 inch. What are the pros and cons in terms of screen real estate for productivity vs usability as a tablet (and reduction in cost)?
Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate you. So between the 13 and 15, it's a give and take game. If you get the 13.3", you'll have a higher PPI screen than the 15.6, resulting in sharper text. Tablet mode is also easier to manage with the smaller version as well. But, the 13 gets hotter under load, and I recommend the i5 over the i7 on the smaller model because of it. For the 15.6, the text won't look quite as sharp, but you can push it harder and go with the i7 more confidentiality due to the better thermals. Both great machines, you can't go wrong either way.
Hi Radar, thank you for another detailed and very good video. If I may, there is one correction: Samsungs Auto-framing is not “a take on Apple’s auto-tracking feature”, but a take on Samsungs own auto-framing feature available since Galaxy Fold 2 (in camera software, running only with the ultrawide lens) which is again a take on Nvidias auto-framing and on the face tracking in MS Teams, available even for a longer time. Apple has been the last one who joined the club, but gave it the nice name “center-stage”.
Very good point my friend, I often forget that Apple didn't come up with that, but the second someone reminds me, I do a face palm, lol! I just can't seem to keep that locked and loaded in my head, ha ha. Thank you so much for another visit, I appreciate you!
Great review. Very well done. The level of detail was fantastic. Yes it's a long review but I (and I bet most viewers) appreciated the level of detail you provided in this review. I especially appreciated the fact that you included an outdoors shot. Much to my chagrin as more manufacturers move to GLOSSY OLED screens the super high reflectivity of these screens is negatively impacting where you can comfortably use these laptops. So it's important to see what the screen visibility is in well lit environments. So kudos to you for showing the outdoor view. Just a minor critique....in those outdoor shots it felt like you positioned the camera to minimize the reflections...I would have much rather seen you just take the video head on to show an unvarnished view of the screen reflectivity at normal head-on eye level outdoors rather than an optimized (best case) viewing angle. Maybe you could show both a "normal" view (how you would position the screen if you weren't trying to compensate for reflectivity) in a brightly lit area and a more "optimized view" that shows screen angle adjustments one might make to compensate/mitigate the brightness from that same laptop position...Again a minor critique to what was an excellent review. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for watcing, and for sharing your thoughts on this video, it's extremely elpful. That's a great idea for taking the outdoor shots, I'll keep that in mind for when the next product I demo comes out. I did do snother video just for outdoor visibility that shows a lot of those angles, it's pretty long and drawn out for what it is, but it shows it at different times of day with different angles. I'll try to remember to point out the viewing angles next time, i like that idea a lot!
@@RADERTECH No problem...As I said my suggestion was just a minor nit to what was an overall great and thorough review. Did you post that other video showing outside shots? If so I'll look for it. I realize that outdoor use is kind of the acid test but I tend to use my laptop on my outdoor patio (partly shaded) and I think having a glossy display will make it problematic (or at least incredibly annoying) for me to use it there...Of course I won't know for sure until I purchase a glossy display laptop and confirm it. As the manufacturers move more towards GLOSSY screens I think reflectivity/glare is going to be more of an issue for users...seeing how the glossy screen impacts use in a well lit indoor environment (e.g., close proximity to a window) and in outdoor areas (not necessarily directly in the sun) would be very useful...at least to me and I suspect others. Cheers.
@@RADERTECH Awesome..thanks! I reviewed. I appreciate your thoroughness. I work outside on my patio quite a bit (software dev). I think I could get away with watching videos outdoors on a glossy screen but coding would be tough as you are reading text. So for that reason I think I'll try and stick with a Matte display. I wonder if any of these after market Anti-glare screen covers are worthwhile? With more and more of the laptop screens going towards OLED (Glossy) screens it might be worthwhile for me to research. I think I'd want one that I could put on/take off when needed but not sure if they exist and how well they work. PS. Congrats on your daughter being accepted into Nursing school...now that is a career that is in demand.
@@jetmartin9501 Thank you so much Jet, I appreciate you. There's quite a few matte screen protectors out there, but I wouldn't recommend them on this particular machine, but on others it would be fine. The reason I say that is because the matte finish screen protectors eat through the s pen nibs in a hurry. Not a big deal if you don't plan on using the s pen much though.
Great point about not paying retail for Samsung. I used a trade in for my Note 20 Ultra 5G and got my Sansung Tab S8 Ultra brand new through Swappa for a big discount.
Awesome, congratulations! It's a great machine, I love how light and thin it is while still remaining powerful. I hope you enjoy it! It'll take a few days for all of the updates to get installed, then it really smooths out nicely.
Excellent review. Thank you. I put off purchasing one this year because of 1080 and 16:9 but now I'm reconsidering and may start watching for deals. Thanks again.
Thank you so much, I appreciate you stopping by for another visit! It's a great machine, but if you can be patient I would probably wait until February to see what the next version shapes up to be. I have a strong feeling that we'll finally see a higher res 16:10 screen, I'd actually be shocked if they didn't up the stakes with the next version. And if they don't end up doing anything with it, then you can feel more confident in buying this year's 2022 model knowing it's not much different. I know, I know, it's hard to be patient! February seems like an eternity away, but it's going to go by fast.
Thanks for the review I just ordered my Galaxy book 2 pro 360 for Father's Day but it's 20 days away but I ordered it today I'll get it on Friday thanks for the review again.
I have the 13.3 version burgundy and really love the device. I was thinking about getting the M1 Macbook but went with Samsung due to the ecosystem and touch screen. Really glad I did.
@@bhairavpandey1 Using the Optimized performance setting, I'm getting on average about 9 hours or so. It was pretty bad at first, but after a few days the battery life improved a lot. Thank you so much for watching 👍
Amazing review! I'm torn between the M1 MacBook air and the maxed out pro 360. I need a device that I can rely on for the next 5 years atleast. I'm a student and I do a bit of everything but my workflow isnt that demanding most of the time. Would you recommend this over the MacBook? Thanks
Thanks for watching 👍 Given the M1 MacBook air can be bought often times a bit cheaper, I'd probably lean on it over the 360. Since it doesn't have fans, it's a good choice for students. Both are great machines though.
Thank you for the insightful review. I am a new subscriber to the channel; I have really appreciated your review of the Samsung Galaxy Book and Book2 Pro 360 15-inch 2 in 1 PC. I have the first gen Galaxy Book pro 360 15-inch. When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360, all I can say is WOW! My experience has been amazing. From the thin and light design to the AMOLED display to the amazing keyboard and touch pad to the exceptional S-Pen inking and incredible Samsung Ecosystem. I think you have really captured how easy it is to fall in love with the overall design of the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 laptop. In my experience there are other Windows PCs that have created some wonderful laptop brand PCs. Like the Microsoft Surface or Dell XPS or Lenovo ThinkPad or HP, just to name a few. All of these build some wonderful PCs. But Samsung has really created something special with the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 and the integration of the Samsung Ecosystem. Looking forward to reviewing your other content. Thanks again.
Thank you so very much for your support, and for sharing your experience with the gb pro 360! It sure is a great machine, I'm glad you're liking it so much. I've been taking a little break from youtube to get my family moved, but should have a video up tonight. Thanks again for your support, I appreciate you!
Hey man, I have been binge watching your videos and "likeing" them all day !! 😊👍 (Samsung book 2 pro 360 & Samsung tab S8 Ultra). 😉 - WOW they can sure do a lot of cool "Samsung tricks" together !! ♥️ - I admire the quality (the art side) of your videos, as well as the quality of the deep-dives (comparisons , ect) !! 👍 (You ROCK !! 🤘) - Blessings to you and your family. 🙏
Awesome detailed review! Your entire in-depth discussion of the 1080p screen resolution was greatly appreciated, as it was my main reason for holding back on making a purchase of this laptop. Now I'm at least willing to give it a try. I'm just tired of waiting for Microsoft to hurry up and come out with a new generation of their Surface Laptop devices to include the 12th gen Intel processors. I'm beginning to think that they want to just steer everyone to their bulky Surface Studio Laptops and they will stop making the Surface Laptop devices.
Thank you so much, appreciate you watching. Microsoft sure is taking their sweet time with this year's refresh, for sure. This 360 screen is nice, but definitely try to see one in person before buying if you can, just to be sure 1080p works for you. Some people are more sensitive to it than others.
Great video. Just bought the Galaxy Book2 Pro 15.6 (not 360) and the Gram 16 2022 version. I'm trying to decide which one I like the best. Specs are close but the Gram has 16:10. Battery is supposed to be around 20 hours for each. Both screens are great, both are unbelievably light. The 16:10 and the matte screen are kind of getting my vote for the Gram 16.
Thank you so much for watching! I would lean on the LG Gram too, especially compared to the non pro 360 since you don't have the s pen with that one anyways. I love the LG Gram series, it's always been one of my favorite light weight laptops. Given the better screen, I think I'd stick with that. I know, not what you were probably expecting to hear on a Samsung related channel, but I'd choose the LG :)
Thanks for watching, I appreciate you! This particular s pen doesn't get charged. It doesn't have the bluetooth capabilities that some of the other s pens have, such as the galaxy tablets, s22 ultra and fold 3 and 4. To be honest though, most of the bluetooth features are a bit gimmicky, so you wouldn't be losing much.
If you sit at a desk most of the day, do you recommend keeping the battery save on and then plugging in, or do you recommend not keeping it plugged in all the time? Thanks! Looking forward to my new arrival tomorrow evening!
Howdy Matt, thanks for stopping by again! You got it, just leave it plugged in with the battery saver feature enabled and you'll be good for years to come. I've had my work laptop plugged into power basically 24/7 for over 2 years now, and it doesn't even have a battery protection feature, so it's staying pegged at 100%. When I go to use it on battery power, it still lasts as long as when I first got it. Congrats on the getting the book2 pro 360, it's an awesome machine. Be patient the first couple of weeks, there will be a lot of updates that get installed, so it will run a little hot and fans will kick on here and there. Check for Windows Updates and check for Samsung updates via the Samsung Update app oftern. After the first couple of weeks go by, it gets very stable and you'll rarely hear the fans kick in anymore. Also, make sure Dolby Atmos is enabled, it makes a HUGE difference. I think on the book2 it is enabled by default, but you might want to double check it when you get it. Happy to help with any questions once you get it.
Sup broski, great to hear from you, thanks so much for stopping by! Appreciate the kind words brother, just doing my tech thingy over here, lol. I need to get some packs in, it's too darn nice out to not be flying! Hope you and the fam are doing great 👍
Here in Germany, Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 13" has similar price with surface pro (sp) 9 (16GB Ram, 256GB SSD). So buying sp9, have also sp6 and it worked great. I would have liked to see a comparison Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 13" vs sp8/9.
Hi, thanks for stopping by and watching! I would love to get my hands on a surface book for comparison. Hopefully as the channel continues to grow, I'll be able to start trickling in some more comparisons with more devices. My only concern would be with the 256GB storage. Hopefully it's easily upgradable or has another open slot, I would burn that 256GB pretty fast. But I love the form factor, it looks a real nice machine.
Hi, thanks for watching! If you plan on pushing it hard (gaming, video editing, etc..), I would go with the 15", as it has 2 fans and doesn't thermal throttle as easily. However, for everyday type tasks, you'll have a higher pixel density screen with the smaller model, so text will look a little clearer, albeit smaller. I would personally go with the 15" for 2 reasons... It has 2 fans instead of 1, and it has 2 m.2 ssd slots instead of the 1 on the 13", so the 15" will easily let you add more storage down the road. If you do end up doing that, please keep in mind that the 2nd (open) ssd slot on the 15" is 2230 size, instead of 2280 like the main ssd. Also, either one can be hooked up to 1 or several 1080p/1440p/4k displays, so you have options in that regard. Happy to help with any other questions you might have.
I think they're basically a tie, both machines are great. I do prefer the s pen input over Lenovo's, but otherwise I like both machines a lot. Go with your gut!
@@vasyle188 It is fragile if you're not careful. It's important to grab it towards one of the 2 hinges, or close to where the trackpad is. If you grab it and press firmly between the 2 hinges, there's a chance you could crack the screen. Once you get used to grabbing it correctly, it becomes moot point. I've been using it nearly every day since launch (same with last year's model), and the screen looks like I just got it on day 1. No issues at all.
I'm torn between the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360, Lenovo Yoga 9i, HP Spectre x360 and the Dell Xps 13. I'm looking to get a 13 inch laptop for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Which 2 in 1 laptop would you say is better? I'm not a gamer. I just wish to write books and occasionally scroll the web/watch movies. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Hi, thanks for watching, and my apologies for the slow reply. All of those are great choices and I think you'd be happy with any of them. If you're writing a lot, I would probably lean towards the galaxy book2 pro, given the wacom emr tech of the s pen, it's really tough to beat. The HP would be 2nd best in this area. But if writing isn't that important, I'd likely lean a little bit more towards the Dell. Don't rule out Lenovo either, they make great machines as well.
Hi Rader Tech! by any chance are you still using this galaxy book 2 pro 360? Have there been any issues? I've read SO many mixed reviews idk what to think
Hi, thanks for stopping by! I use the GB2 Pro 360 pretty much every day, and have it since launch. I also used last year's GB pro 360 for about a year without any real issues. The biggest problem I faced was I lost the ability to login with the fingerprint scanner and PIN for a bit due to a bad update I guess, but it was an easy fix. I think a lot of folks are grabbing this laptop between the hinges, which I don't recommend at all. I think I mention it in a 10 Tips and Tricks video I put out a while back. Basically, when you pick something up this thin, you want to grab it by where the touchpad is or near one of the 2 hinges, instead of right in the middle of the hinges. The screen is so super thin, that I can see it getting cracked if too much pressure is used when grabbing it between the 2 hinges. I think that's what's happening to a lot of folks that are complaining about cracked screens. This machine is super thin, it does need to be handled with some care.
So your advice is to go for this one, or wait to see what happens in next year model? Btw impressive work with this video, you just earned a subscriber:)
Thank so much, I really appreciate your support! If you can wait, I'd probably hold off until next year's comes out if you can. I have a strong feeling we'll see higher resolution offers. 1080p looks fine, but it really should be at least QHD on a 15" like this. That's my biggest gripe with it, otherwise it really is a great 2 in 1. Thanks for again for your support, happy to any answer any more questions.
Hey Bill, thanks for making another visit, I appreciate you! Oh really? Oh, well then that's awesome if that's the case, thank you so much for sharing 👍
Thank you for the first detailed review I have seen for this device. I am torn between this, yoga 9i, and msi summit. Have you had the opportunity to test cinebench r23 scores? I use that to compare different devices I own.
Hi, thank you so much for watching! The cinebench r23 scores are in here for the GB2 Pro 360, but unfortunately I don't have the other machines to compare to. Appreciate you stopping by 👍
@@RADERTECH sorry, must have missed it! I guess it ultimately boils down to whether I am willing to sacrifice battery life for a high quality display and the few hundred dollars between all these units. Appreciate the review! Cheers!
@@LeFatalpotato No worries at all👍 I know, there's always so much to consider when buying a new machine. I've noticed my preferences change often, in a couple years from now I'll probably want something completely different again, lol. I hope you find something that meets all of your needs, there's a lot to choose from these days.
@@LeFatalpotato Where i am there is 1000 dollars difference between lenovo 9i and the Book2 Pro but the 9i seems like the better device and there are some nice configurations options available for the 9i
The deal breaker for me, and I have last years, is the screen resolution for the 15-inch version. It is simply a poor decision by Samsung and although it no doubt knocked $50-100 off the price, a 2.5K (prefer 4K) would have been a far better choice. With OLED we have the pentile arrangement of the pixels that make it less than a 1080p LCD panel and it is quite noticeable. No 90Hz was not a surprise last year, but in 2022 that is a major miss. It would be easy to have a switch to move between 60 and 90Hz for those wanting greater battery life. I hope that the battery life has improved as I have never broken 6hrs SOT and that is just doing basic stuff like browsing and office stuff. I have the brightness around 80% due to PWM and I prefer higher brightness on OLED. The constant whining of the fan and the heat were other cons. I def would not pay full price for this. Luckily this was a flop in sales due to massive software issues at launch so I got a month old one for under half price so I can live with the negatives at £560.
Appreciate your insight and for you watching. I get where you're coming from, I really do. I was hopeful we'd have higher res options as well, though I do like the screen a lot, it could be even better with a few more pixels. Battery life on the latest model is very good though, no complaints in that area with this year's model. £560 seems like a very reasonable price, that makes it easier to to stomach, lol.
I am really liking how the screen looks, but I will admit this is the first laptop I've owned , I have tons of electronics tho, too much really but I would have to see another laptop to compare. but again, I am happy so far
@@michaelmarquez6133 Nice! It's a great looking screen, for sure. Even at 1080p it still looks fantastic. Glad you're enjoying it. Give it a few days and it'll be performing even better :)
Hi, thanks for watching! So you can get the 13" and 15" spec'd the same, but the 13" is known to thermal throttle easily when you push it hard. On the Pro versions like this, it's an aluminum chassis.
Thanks for watching 👍That's correct. The main one is 2280, and the second open slot is 2230. You can see it opened up in the review done on Mobile Tech Review's channel, it's towards the end of her video.
i got the 13 inches model and i have bad battery life, and heat ( no throttling tho, i know the difference between 13 and 15 is that have a extra fan) but, do u have any extra tip about battery? regards
Hi, thanks for watching! Yes indeed, I put out a video about a month ago showing a bunch of ways to save battery life. It's called "17 Tips for Improving Battery Life | Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360". Thanks for stopping by and watching!
That would be nice, a little higher resolution would be a plus too. I totally agree, though it is a real nice screnn despite not having those nice specs. Thanks for watching!
HI, thanks for watching! Yes, that color is still available and looks really nice. No real issues honestly, this machine has been working very well for me personally.
When you put the book 2 pro next to tab s8 ultra and view high quality photo on both of them, can you clearly see a difference b/w the 1080p view on book 2 pro and 2k or 4k view on tab s8 ultra? Also in terms of build quality and reliability which device is more premium? Thanks for the great video.
Thank you so much for watching! Yeah, you can tell, for sure. The tab S8 Ultra is a 3K screen (just shy), and it does present a noticably sharper image than the Ultra. It's not a night and day difference, but it's there. I would also give the build quality nod to the tab s8 Ultra as well, it's made to take some abuse, whereas you want to be a bit more careful with the gb2pro360. Both are great machines though.
What's the difference between the tablet SPen and computer SPen? Do you get all the same features of the tablet pen on the computer, like hover zoom and translate?
Hi, thanks for watching! The difference between the 2 is pretty drastic. You don't get any of those cool features on the gb2 pro 360 I'm afraid, and the overall responsiveness is less on the laptop as well. You get the usual air command pop up menu, but there's not nearly as many options as the galaxy tabs or phones. It's still a good experience compared to other comouter pens though.
Thank you so much for the kind words and for stopping by! That's so awesome, it really is a nice machine, especially if you're in the market for something ultra thin/light and portable, that's where it really shines. A couple things to consider when buying - If you're looking at the smaller 13" variant, I recommend going with the i5 instead of spending extra for the i7. The i7 overheats easily on the smaller model, and you'll experience thermal throttling when pushing it hard. It's understandable though, the 12th gen i7 is just a little "much" for such a small device. For the 15" model, you won't have the same heating problem with the i7, so definitely go with it on the larger one if you can afford it. Also, if you plan on keeping it more than just a couple of years, definitely get the 16gb option over the 8gb. The RAM is soldered on like on most ultralight laptops, and 8gb just really isn't enough these days. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching, I appreciate you.
@@RADERTECH hey, thanks so much. You truly are a helpful person. I didn't expect you to take your time out to give such detailed important advice. :) coincidentally I was still actually choosing between 15.6 vs 13.3. Does the 13.3 i7 get hot under normal prolonged use too..? As I am getting this for my brother who is doing doctor md medicine and he wanted something light but also premium & powerful but which he can carry on his rounds & checkups. I have been holding him back waiting for 12th gen or we would have gotten a surface. There are hardly any detailed reviews on this and this isn't available in Samsung stores of many major cities in India lol I'd like to go with the 15.6 i7 version but it's unavailable (currently on their website but available on amazon) even then I guess I still have to opt for the i7 13.3 ( since price diff. Is 130usd for those extra inches but just 60 usd for i5 to i7 jump) 😅 plus the increased weight can make it uncomfortable for him to carry it for long period. But still finalising on it. :)
@@KunalSrivastava30 You're welcome, always happy to help. For regular use (non gaming, non editing/rendering) tasks, I think you're brother would be fine with any model you pick. The heating issue is only a real factor if you're pushing the system hard and for prolonged periods of time. Since your brother is a medical professional, I'm going to make the assumption he has pretty good eyesight. I rarely like to assume things, but since he's making rounds, it's likely pretty good. What I'm getting at, is he's probably better off with the 13" over the 15" anyways, as he'll have no issues seeing the smaller screen, and it will be much easier for him to carry around. The text will also be a bit clearer and sharper on the smaller 13", because it has a higher pixel density. I think text readability will be very important to him given the line of work. And since he's making rounds and seeing many patients, he'll be "pausing" his use of the laptop often, meaning overheating will likely never be an issue for him. Most of his long running chores would be after work, like studying medicine. Those would be very easy tasks for any of these machines to handle without getting hot. I think the only consideration at this point would be the numpad. You get a numpad on the 15", and not on the 13". Many people don't care about it really, but you might want to find out if that would bother him or not. If he plugs in a lot of numbers it might be a thing to consider.
Lots of good information as usual. Just a couple of things I don't agree with. The choice of the aspect ratio is likely not because of battery life but mainly cost. They don't need to move from 15.6 to 14.6. The could make a 15in screen which would be a custom one, just like the S8 ultra one is. It would cost more, a cost that can be more easily absorbed by an android tablet than by a Windows laptop. By the way 15in 16:10 would be exactly the size of the S8 ultra bezels included. They could reduce the chin to avoid increasing the footprint, but that would require a re-engineering of the whole body, not cheap, again. Something Apple can more easily do with their prices. They should definitely increase the resolution, they could go with 2560x1600p on the 15in (like the S7FE) and 2016X1350 like the thinkpad x1 nano. Great compromise. And they could easily offset the battery life impact by increasing the battery to 70-80wh, that would add less than 100gr, maybe just 50gr... (when they moved from 30wh to 75wh on the Notebook 9 from 2017 to 2018 the weight increase was just 200gr....) I would honestly take more resolution over OLED any day... Honestly I don't even think OLED is the right choice if this is to be a productivity laptop where the screens stays on for 8 hours or more straight...I don't think I'll buy a new pc before Windows 10 end of life in 2025, so hopefully by then the Book 360 will be good enough to replace both my 2017 samsung laptop and my desktop....
Some great observations, thank you so much for your insight! I appreciate you taking the time to put this detailed comment together, lots of great insight👍
@@_Digitalguy Absolutely, I really do appreciate it, it keeps me thinking things through more and helps me consider others opinions and insight. You make some great points, always welcome here 👍
Hi, thanks for watching! There's a difference. The galaxy book "2" pro 360 has the latest Intel 12th gen chipset and has a brighter display and better audio. The one without the "2" in the name is last year's model, and it features Intel 11th gen. The older model has a little bit better battery life, but the newer "2" model is better in all other regards. I'm happy to answer any additional questions you may have about them.
I just ordered this exact version of this model for $944, I hope it's worth it. I am coming from a galaxy Book S i5 version that is a turd, so this should be a huge upgrade. Well I have a monster desktop but I like to use a laptop for my school work. Thanks for the great review.
That's a great price! I think you'll be very happy with it at that price point. Just be patient at first, as many updates will get installed the first week or so.
Hi, thanks for watching! Hmm, that's odd. It should let you auto-rotate anytime it's in tablet mode since you have Rotate lock off. Try opening up Device Manager, and make sure this doesn't have a yellow exclamation mark beside it - Intel (R) Integrated Sensor Solution. Happy to help further.
Awesome and quality video 😊 For common users who want a laptop that can last for years and will still work fine for long run. Would you recommend this model or the new MacBook air M2?
Thank you so much for watching, and my apologies for the slow reply. For longevity, I'd lean on the M2 MacBook air. It will be relevant for a longer time frame than the galaxy book2 pro 360.
Hi, thanks for watching! No, only when I push it hard with gaming. I tend to keep it in the Optimized profile, but otherwise I'm not doing anything special for heat. Also, mine got very hot during the first week or so of owning it, but updates that trickled in helped a lot.
Hi, nice video man! I would like to ask the thermal condition of the 15 inch i7 specs, how’s that? Will the laptop get too hot to place on thigh while using photoshop of other simple work?
Thank you so much for watching! So for basic tasks like you mentioned, you won't have anything to worry about. It'll get a little warm, but nothing your legs can't handle, lol. However, if you ever end up gaming with it on your lap, it will get quite toasty. The part that gets the hottest on this laptop is the keyboard area, in the top section where it's closer to the screen, the function row area. When I play GTA 5 on it, that part of the keyboard gets piping hot! But the rest, including the bottom part isn't so bad. Happy to help with any other questions you have.
@@RADERTECH thanks? Do you think the thermal condition of the 13inch i7 version will be manageable too? As I know that the 13inch version has only one fan. Also, do you know if there are any 2in1 laptops that sit in the same price range can outcompete the book2 pro 360?
@@bc606 Great questions! I suggest avoiding the i7 13" if you plan on doing a lot of taxing stuff, such as editing or gaming. It thermal throttles too easily, unfortunately. The i5 version doesn't suffer from this near as much. On the 15" version it's not as big of a deal. For alternatives, I have a "5 alternatives to the GB2 pro 360" video in progress right now, no BS, lol. It will be out no later than this weekend, likely the next video I post (besides a couple shorts).
I don't think that's needed, I haven't used one on this year's or last year's, and both screens are holding up just fine. Thank you so much for watching!
Thank you so much for the video.. I just didn't get that SSD part. Does it have a second free slot? And also how much SSD can I put inside it without causing problems? (Can I add 4Tb of SSD in the future maybe??!). Thank you!
Hi, thank you so much for watching! For the 13" model, there is no free open slot. You would have to replace the original SSD with a larger one if you wanted to upgrade. For the 15" model, you have one additional free slot that is 2230 size. The main slot that already has an SSD is 2280 size. Both slots support Gen 4, so you can pick up one of the new lightning fast SSD's and it will support it. As far as size limit goes, I don't think there really is one. You should be fine installing the biggest SSD you can find, 4TB shouldn't be a problem.
Hope the ppi gets as much as tab s8 ultra, 32 gb ram, 5g sim, s pen hole in the laptop, 4k display, better audio, etc. Also,, they should fix the overheating priblem
Thanks for stopping by again, I appreciate you! I agree with some of this, but not all of it. Of course we all different wants and needs, so it's good that we have so many choices! I'll take the 32GB of ram and esim support all day, and getting 5G instead of regular LTE would be great. I think we'll get the 32GB for sure, but not sure so sure on the cell support, sadly. I don't know about 4K. It would give this screen a 282 PPI, a bit higher than the tab s8 Ultra, but the battery life would tank on this particular machine. I'd be happy with QHD personally, but I feel on wanting higher resolution options. We should have more than 1 1080p option. You don't like the audio, seriously? Dude, I think the audio on this year's GB2 Pro 360 is fantastic! You just need to enable Dolby Atmos and turn on Spatial sound, then the speakers completely wake up. I switch between using the tab S8 Ultra and the GB2 Pro 360 for media consumption all day long, and the GB2 sounds equally as good, and it's a bit louder too. I just tried out my buddy's brand new Dell XPS that he paid over $2K for (maxed out), and the audio on the GB2 Pro 360 is better hands-down. Intel 12th gen gets hot, not just on this machine, but all ultralight laptops that have it. I wouldn't say it's a problem though, it rarely thermal throttles when pushing it. Only gaming really causes severe overheating, everything else is fine. I edit videos with Davinci Resolve 18 on it, and it only gets warm to the touch when rendering. The fans don't even kick on during the edits themselves, it handles it great actually.
@@RADERTECH severe overheating? DID YOU HAD TO SHUT DOWN THE LAPTOP? WERE YOU AE TO TOUVMCH IT? I SAW ON VIDEO THAT IT HEAT UP TO 45° CELCIUS? IS IT TOO BAD? OR THE INTERNAL FAN DOES ITS JOB?
@@sultansultan7812 The fans do the job well, they keep the heat under control You have to really push it before being concerned with it. I have yet to have it completely crash on me.
You're honestly not missing out on much, last year's is a great machine too. I'd just wait for next until you actually need something new, that's already such a nice machine. Thank you so much for watching👍
Can you get screen recorder to record internal sound with picture? Like the iPhone you just press screen record and that's it. It comes out perfect. Thanks
Hi, thanks for watching! Yes, both galaxy phones and this laptop allow you to record the internal sound, as well as external sound (like you talking or something like that). Once you set the options, they'll stay the same the next time you use it.
@@RADERTECH Ok thanks. Yes I've seen the record option on the Galaxy phone. So I'll just have to work around the recording on the laptop. It recorded picture alright. Thank you again.
Hi, thanks for watching! This is most likely due to a BIOS udpate that your machine likely just got, especially if it's new. Do you still have the amber power light when plugged in to power, and does it turn green still when charged? If so, try just pressing the power button for 1 to 2 seconds, no more than that, and see if the light turns blue. If it does, wait a little bit and it should eventually start up. If not, then press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds, then press and hold it for 1 to 2 secods. Go through this a couple times and it should be in good shape. Please let me know if you need any more assistance.
I had the graphite version, 15 inch. Definitely a fingerprint magnet. Surprising to me, the screen resolution was fine while drawing (that's big, because drawing you would be holding it closer than when using as a normal laptop). I expected to not like the screen resolution, but the screen was gorgeous! I had no complaints at about overall functionality, speed, etc. Even the most demanding art programs I have (i.e., rebelle 5 - a real media simulation painting program) ran fantastic. I wasn't a fan of the keyboard. It just can't compare to a good lenovo laptop keyboard. I had a weird issue where hitting shift caused capslock to turn on. At least I think that is what was happening. Very strange. I did end up returning mine though. The reason why is simple - by default, you cannot customize the pen. It's important to note that you can use alternate pens, ones that have a button (or two) plus an eraser. I.e., the pen from the conceptd 7 or 9, or the hp zbook x2 g4 pen, or the Wacom One pen. Pen pressure and accuracy is great. But the side button is set to Air Command. You can turn off Air Command, but have to buy a 3rd party program to re-program the side button (i.e.: Tablet Pro Pen Tool). This works better in some programs than others. Overall, though, it's a buggy experience. Samsung should be giving us options to change pen settings. Even my old lenovo from like 2014, and "penabled" laptops I had before that allowed you to customize pen buttons and pen pressure. All of these laptops, including hte galaxy book2 pro 360, are all built on the same underlying wacom pen technology. For any artists interested in the tablet... tablet pro pen tool really is a life saver. A huge benefit is on screen keys. This can do a lot to negate the negative of not being able to reliable customize the pen. I'm choosing to buy something more focused on artwork (I ordered a used hp zbook x2 g4). The hp laptop gives full ability to customize the pen, much like a wacom device. If for some reason it doesn't work out, I'll go all in on a mobile studio pro. However, as long as you are OK using on-screen buttons and don't need a pen with an eraser or a reliable side button, the galaxy book2 pro 360 is a fantastic tool. For future iterations of this... I completely agree that they need to have 1440p on this screen. I also hope they give better controls with the pen drivers.
Hi, i am on the fence of returning it too....The resolution is borderline dreadful to me when reading text. I am giving it a few days before deciding. About the Samsung keyboard, I also have a 14" lenovo at work , it s probably because i am not used to that large keyboard with the numpad... Battery life not sure about it yet Dolby atmos for me was enables since day 1 :) About the pen, i will look into that pen issue...but i have the first Galaxy Book (12" tablet), the pen pressure sensitivy is customizable
Can I use this device for website and Android development or should I choose any other options available in the market.if yes, what is your recommendation..Thanks in advance.
Thank you so much for watching. It handles dev tasks just fine, that's what I do for a living and it handles it all well. My only real gripe is that it's 16:9 instead of 16:10, but that doesn't make a big difference when connected to a monitor. It's a good option, but there are many others out there that are great for coding too. The first one to come to mind is the Lenovo Yoga 9i.
Hey guys, Lenovo yoga 9i is out of stock in my country.would you recommend galaxy book2 pro for machine learning(which I am willing to learn in near future) .I am also doing a lot of illustration and photo editing(& web + android development).I am torn between macbook air m1(16gb ram) + wacom and galaxy book 2 pro 15"(mac with wacom and book2 pro cost pretty much same here). Will the galaxy book2 pro last atleast for 4 to 5 years?Could you recommend any other 2 in 1 laptop.I am also considering asus zenbook duo 14 ux-482(i7 chip with intel graphics) and asus flip 14 oled (ryzen 7).I am also confused if a touchscreen laptop is durable for 5 years else could you recommend anything in this price range?
@@Aurora-lb4zb If you're training deep learning models, I'd highly recommend something with a strong dedicated GPU. AMD is currently the way to go for machine and deep learning tasks, but that could change at any time. I would probably base my purchase on the requirements of the models you're working, as some aren't comparable at all. From a reliability standpoint, I think any of the machines that you mentioned will be just fine. The main concern, would be that they may not get the job done in four to five years time, so you may be considering an upgrade prior to that. Hope this is helpful.
@@RADERTECH Thank you for the guidance..Do you think these laptops should be upgraded(before 4 years) for the sake of machine learning or they won't last long since they are touchscreen?
@@Aurora-lb4zb I've personally never had a touchscreen device go bad. I still have an old budget Acer 2 in 1 from like 10 years ago that still works, though now incredibly slow and of course outdated. You should be good with any of them from a reliability standpoint.
Thank you so much for stopping by, appreciate you. Congrats, I think you're going to love it. I got stuck using my work laptop today, and all I could think of was - "This thing is NOTHING like my GB Pro 360, not even close" ha ha.
@@RADERTECH I have been using the business modes of Dell (Latitude/XPS) and most recently HP Elitebook (which I am using until the arrival of the Book2) but if it comes to value for the money I think this will be a game changer.
Thank you so much for your support, I really appreciate it. Sadly, it's WiFi only at the moment, but we should start seeing the cellular variants soon. Last year's model ended up getting nano sim support on the 13", but it varied by region.
Hi, sorry for the slow reply back. I'm not seeing a slow motion option anywhere when using the camera app. There's time lapse and plenty of background blur and facial effects, but I'm not seeing anything for slow motion. There are anit-flicker options for different lighting though.
Hi Joanna, thanks for watching! Yes, it will work fine with it, except you won't have the bluetooth features of course. But outside of the bluetooth features (of which I personally rarely use), it works as expected. I have both, so I know first hand.
Howdy, thanks for stopping by! No, not really. It does stay pretty hot the first couple of weeks while a bunch of updates happen in the background, but it's pretty good after that. Web browsing, working docs, stuff like that doesn't get it hot at all. The only tasks that will get it really cooking is gaming and video rendering, but that's to be expected.
Hi, thanks for watching! Thankfully, the fingerprint scanner button remains available when in tablet mode, it's the only key like this. When you rest your fingerprint over the reader, it will wake it up and log you in. No need to unfold it.
Hey Justin, thanks for stopping by! No, I have never put a screen protector on a laptop before. I've always good luck in not getting any scratches on the screens, knock on wood, lol. I'd be a bit concerned with it interfering with the s pen input, but it may not be an issue at all, just guessing really.
Hi, thanks for watching! As long as your careful, you shouldn't have to worry about using a screen protector on this machine. Just be carefeul to not grab it in the middle of the hinges when picking it up, grab it off to one of the sides near the hinge. Folks have been getting cracked screens from grabbing it that way. Otherwise, you shouldn't need one, s pen marks wipe easily away and don't scratch the screen.
Hi Richard, thanks for stopping by! I don't think Windows has limits on the size you can use, so you should be fine with a larger 1TB or 2TB microSD card if you want. You can also mount it like a regular hard drive, giving it it's own drive letter until you unmount it, but the reads and writes will of course be much slower than the internal SSD.
I'm deciding on a laptop for surfing, school, movies and just an everyday laptop. I came across this one and I fell in love with it just by seeing it but what's the difference between this model and last years model?
Hi, thank you so much for watching. The main differences between both models are that the newer one gets a little brighter, has a 1080p webcam instead of 720p, the speakers are a little bit better and it's of course a bit faster since it's Intel's latest processeor. But honestly, for what you're looking to do with it, I'd probably just get last year's since you'll be able to find it a lot cheaper. The newer model is better, but not by much in any one area. Both are great machines, I think you'll really like either for the things you mentioned.
I have a strong feeling the M2 Air will destroy the galaxy book2 pro 360. I think it comes out in like 2 days, right? We'll have a better idea real soon. I do like the galaxy book2 pro 360 a lot, but it does run hot when pushing it at all. Gaming gets it extremely hot, almost too hot to touch. Thank you so much for stopping by and watching!
I'll pass this if it runs hot (without reason makes the fans run and also the batteries will die quick imo). I need a clean ultrabook that's not a Mac but does the basics stuff right.😶
It can be tough at times, it really depends on the lighting situation around you. It's definitely bearable if you keep the brightness turned up in those situations. I don't have many issues with visibility around the house, but there have been times when my ceiling fans will reflect on it, which can be annoying. It's not bad, but you'll def notice reflections here and there. Since it's a 2 in 1 and I touch the screen often, fingerprints become a thing, but I just wipe it down often to overcome it. Thanks for watching, appreciate you!
Oh wow, I noticed I had the option a couple months back when looking. That sucks if they're doing that now. Thanks for stopping by and sharing this info.
jo i have a question, i need to buy a laptop for my study that has also to do with programming next year and I really want this laptop, but is it a good laptop for programming and stuff?
Hi, thanks for stopping by, and my apologies for the super slow reply. Took a little break from youtube to do a family move. It's great for programming, that's what I do for a living. .Net, SQL Server, Azure, Data modeling, it can handle all of it. It will get a little warm when you compile and run a bunch of site via IIS or Apache, but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a good machine once it gets all of it's updates, which usually takes about 2 weeks for them to trickle in.
Hi, thanks for watching! It can get hot at times, especially when gaming and rendering long video edits. But never enough to be concerning. Most times it doesn't get warm at all though.
Just bought the 15.6 i7 1TB Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, but haven't received it yet. If I use an intense program for photo editing (affinity photo)/music production/video editing, will this laptop get hot enough to kick the fans on? If so, Do you think a cooling pad like the IETS GT500 would make a difference to keep it cool? I will use it for photo editing, and some video editing on top of the usual note taking/word/excel/internet browsing/youtube videos & music etc...
Congrats on getting it, I hope you enjoy it. So any laptop that's super thin like this will get hot when under load, it's just part of the deal when having something this thin. However, for most tasks the heat is very manageable and isn't really a oncern. The fans will certainly kick on when you render an edit or geme on it, and it will get hot during those times. I would suggest waiting on purchasing the cooling fan/mat. It will help, but you might not need it unless you're constantly rendering 4K video or are gaming non-stop. Photo editing and tasks like that aren't too big of a deal. I'm working on a "video editing on the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360" video now, it will be the next full video I post (might do another Short or 2 before). Thanks for watching!
Hi radar, Can you tell about the fan noise while doing light work loke web browsing with 10 tabs open. Also is there some body flex. For the 13.3 inch version
Hi, thanks for watching 👍 The fan noise sucks the first few days, but after it got all of the updates it's gone way down and is pretty good now. There's no flex on my 15.6" model, so I'm sure it'll be the same for the 13.3" as well. There was a lot of flex on last year's model, but not on the latest model.
good video! i have a question. i heard that in galaxy book pro 2 pro, we can see flickering with slow motion camera. can you check flickering with slow motion camera?
Thank you so much! Oh my, I'll check that out in the next couple of hours for you. I didn't even know that the camera could shoot in slow motion, ha ha. I saved this for follow-up, I'll get back to you ASAP.
Hey, thanks for stopping by! It's pretty good, but certainly not the best option out there. I used for my edits using Davinci Resolve for over a month while my desktop PC was down, and it worked pretty good. You'll definitely want to use proxies with 4K content though, it will chug along pretty slow otherwise. But all in all, it's pretty good.
Just picked this up for $1145 on the Samsung web site. they had $500 off this week plus more for trade in.
Damn I want this deal tooo
My compliments for your review. This is how it should be done. So glad you compared them to eachother and not to other brands.

How is your battery holding up ? I’ve seen reviews saying that the battery life sucks. But don’t you have different energy settings on the laptop ?

You are an amazing reviewer! Thanks for the great video.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kindness and you stopping by!
Cheers.
@@jetmartin9501 Thank you so much Jet. I sure did, about a month back. Here's a link to it - ua-cam.com/video/gKp-P-u3sGw/v-deo.html

I know, not what you were probably expecting to hear on a Samsung related channel, but I'd choose the LG :)
great info on video...Thanks,my question is: how do you charge the S-Pen.

@@RADERTECH on Amazon internal M2 SSD 2230 1tb=230€. That would transform the 256gb to 1tb.
Nice video, keep it up like this og🔥💯
Thank you so much, I really do appreciate it!
Just wondering which to go for between the 15" Vs 13" models, any insight for clarity would be greatly appreciated.

You think Samsung is fragile, he can broke easily?
I think it comes with Gen 3 PCIe SSD, but it actually has Gen 4 interface. You just need to upgrade it yourself when needed.

@@RADERTECH oh....that's a bit unfortunate. Hopefully they'll update the pen on the GBP3 360

There are hardly any detailed reviews on this and this isn't available in Samsung stores of many major cities in India lol
I'd like to go with the 15.6 i7 version but it's unavailable (currently on their website but available on amazon) even then I guess I still have to opt for the i7 13.3 ( since price diff.
(when they moved from 30wh to 75wh on the Notebook 9 from 2017 to 2018 the weight increase was just 200gr....)
I would honestly take more resolution over OLED any day...

Hello, do you now there is an option to upgrade the storage inside with an 1 TB M.2 (2230) SSD? Regards from Germany.
Hi, thanks for watching👍 Yes, the second open slot is 2230 size, only available on the wifi version of the 15" model.
I just got this and my screen stopped auto rotating :( . The Rotate lock is off. Any suggestions?
Hi, thanks for watching! Hmm, that's odd. It should let you auto-rotate anytime it's in tablet mode since you have Rotate lock off. Try opening up Device Manager, and make sure this doesn't have a yellow exclamation mark beside it - Intel (R) Integrated Sensor Solution. Happy to help further.
Awesome and quality video 😊
For common users who want a laptop that can last for years and will still work fine for long run. Would you recommend this model or the new MacBook air M2?
Thank you so much for watching, and my apologies for the slow reply. For longevity, I'd lean on the M2 MacBook air. It will be relevant for a longer time frame than the galaxy book2 pro 360.
Do you also habe problems with overheating or Do i just have the wrong settings with the pro2 360 i7 512gb ssd 16gb ram
@@RADERTECH thanks for you generous help and guidance! I’m really looking forward to your latest video
@@bc606 You're very welcome, I should have the alternative laptops video out later today 👍
Should I use a screen protector on this Laptop and if yes what kind?
I don't think that's needed, I haven't used one on this year's or last year's, and both screens are holding up just fine. Thank you so much for watching!
@@RADERTECH thanks for replying😁
@@ElazigFighter23 You're welcome, thanks again for watching!

Can you get screen recorder to record internal sound with picture? Like the iPhone you just press screen record and that's it. It comes out perfect. Thanks
Hi, thanks for watching! Yes, both galaxy phones and this laptop allow you to record the internal sound, as well as external sound (like you talking or something like that). Once you set the options, they'll stay the same the next time you use it.
@@RADERTECH Ok thanks. Yes I've seen the record option on the Galaxy phone. So I'll just have to work around the recording on the laptop. It recorded picture alright. Thank you again.
@@colmflaherty3963 On the laptop, type "Screen Recorder" in the Start menu, and the Samsung screen recorder with audio recording options will load up.
My new Sumsang Galaxy Book 2 Pro 386 screen does not turn on. What went wrong?
Thank you so much for watching, and also for your insight as an artist! I really appreciate your insight, I'm sure many will find this very helpful 👍
Hi, i am on the fence of returning it too....The resolution is borderline dreadful to me when reading text.
I am giving it a few days before deciding.
About the Samsung keyboard, I also have a 14" lenovo at work , it s probably because i am not used to that large keyboard with the numpad...
Battery life not sure about it yet
Dolby atmos for me was enables since day 1 :)
About the pen, i will look into that pen issue...but i have the first Galaxy Book (12" tablet), the pen pressure sensitivy is customizable
Hey guys,
Lenovo yoga 9i is out of stock in my country.would you recommend galaxy book2 pro for machine learning(which I am willing to learn in near future) .I am also doing a lot of illustration and photo editing(& web + android development).I am torn between macbook air m1(16gb ram) + wacom and galaxy book 2 pro 15"(mac with wacom and book2 pro cost pretty much same here).
Nice in depth review, I am waiting for delivery of the exact same laptop.
Great video just subbed.. do have question .. Does the laptop support esim ? Thanks
Hi :) please can anyone tell me if the S pen for the computer is compatible with the tab S8 Ultra ?
Hi Joanna, thanks for watching! Yes, it will work fine with it, except you won't have the bluetooth features of course. But outside of the bluetooth features (of which I personally rarely use), it works as expected. I have both, so I know first hand.
@RADER TECH thanks so much for your reply, really appreciate this :)
@@MsPinkcat7 You're welcome!
Hey Rader Tech I was planning to buy does this laptop heats a lot?
Howdy, thanks for stopping by! No, not really. It does stay pretty hot the first couple of weeks while a bunch of updates happen in the background, but it's pretty good after that. Web browsing, working docs, stuff like that doesn't get it hot at all. The only tasks that will get it really cooking is gaming and video rendering, but that's to be expected.
@@RADERTECH Thanks for the info
How can you switch it on in tablet mode? Do you have to fold it back first?
Hi, thanks for watching! Thankfully, the fingerprint scanner button remains available when in tablet mode, it's the only key like this. When you rest your fingerprint over the reader, it will wake it up and log you in. No need to unfold it.
@@RADERTECH Thank you, these are good news!
Have you ever installed a screen protector on these
Hey Justin, thanks for stopping by! No, I have never put a screen protector on a laptop before. I've always good luck in not getting any scratches on the screens, knock on wood, lol. I'd be a bit concerned with it interfering with the s pen input, but it may not be an issue at all, just guessing really.
Thank you for this great review! Does anyone know if the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 should be used with tempered glass?
Hi, thanks for watching! As long as your careful, you shouldn't have to worry about using a screen protector on this machine. Just be carefeul to not grab it in the middle of the hinges when picking it up, grab it off to one of the sides near the hinge. Folks have been getting cracked screens from grabbing it that way. Otherwise, you shouldn't need one, s pen marks wipe easily away and don't scratch the screen.
does anayone know what the max. size microsd card for this unit is?
Hey, which laptop performs better according to you in general? M2 Air or this? Do you see any heating issues as of now?
I have a strong feeling the M2 Air will destroy the galaxy book2 pro 360. I think it comes out in like 2 days, right? We'll have a better idea real soon.
I do like the galaxy book2 pro 360 a lot, but it does run hot when pushing it at all. Gaming gets it extremely hot, almost too hot to touch.
Thank you so much for stopping by and watching!
I'll pass this if it runs hot (without reason makes the fans run and also the batteries will die quick imo). I need a clean ultrabook that's not a Mac but does the basics stuff right.😶
What about the screen reflection? Is it bearable?
It can be tough at times, it really depends on the lighting situation around you. It's definitely bearable if you keep the brightness turned up in those situations. I don't have many issues with visibility around the house, but there have been times when my ceiling fans will reflect on it, which can be annoying. It's not bad, but you'll def notice reflections here and there. Since it's a 2 in 1 and I touch the screen often, fingerprints become a thing, but I just wipe it down often to overcome it.
Thanks for watching, appreciate you!
Intel Arc GPU is only available if you buy through a business account.
Does it overheat with the amount of work you do?

Hey is SGB 2 Pro 360 i5 good for video editing?
Hey, thanks for stopping by! It's pretty good, but certainly not the best option out there. I used for my edits using Davinci Resolve for over a month while my desktop PC was down, and it worked pretty good. You'll definitely want to use proxies with 4K content though, it will chug along pretty slow otherwise. But all in all, it's pretty good.
