The documentary on Gilbert’s life was surprisingly warm and made me see him in a different light. He seemed so happy with his life, wife And kids that I am glad to know he enjoyed his life RIP

He was so old school about the family too….always protected them, never mentioned them publicly. You’d only hear from/about his wife after the podcast started since she produced it. As much as everyone goofed on him about being stingy and weird he seemed like a very stand up dude.

It made me smile seeing his young ones and especially how "cheap" he was IRL. Free samples all the way baby! He is asking God for more mints, toothbrushes, and soap now!

Definitely old school, I would think he worried about his family having money when he was gone as opposed to blowing through it…which is not many people these days.

the “norm and Harvey Weinstein” story is hilarious. Apparently Harvey was holding court and had a bunch of people around him. At one point Harvey goes “I think Mathew Perry is a genius, what about you Norm?” And Norm goes in his legendary style “….is he really good at math or something?” From that day on apparently Harvey Weinstein hated Norm with a passion and that makes me like Norm that much more
