i had a c30 running a bar of boost on my golf r32 and it was awesome when it worked, but boy was it sensetive! i ended up with 2 new charger because of failures

why does nobody put those kits into corvettes, seems better to me then big blowers like vortech ysi or procharger

who said you only make 60-80 whp? these systems are making over 500+ whp on some engines. for a good quality complete kit without all of the bad qualities of a turbo. sounds good to me. 1500 to build a turbo setup? from ebay or costco maybe

Was wondering if you guys make a sc kit for the 2jz-ge either a mkiv supra or a Lexus sc300 or gs300?
I was planning on using one of these superchargers but the thing that has changed my mind is the oil service. Too damn expensive
Typically the gains are somewhere along the lines of 60-80whp depending on the exact engine.

hey kraftwerks, i have a couple of questions, 1: what size would be optimal for my car, 2003(actual build date Feb/02) toyota corolla ZZE122r with 1zzfe engine? (not looking for too much power only running on stock internals for now!) 2: do you make any kits that would fit my car? 3: is it possible to run a extended shaft design on this like the trd s/c kits that came out on the scions (cause of lack of engine room this would be optimal for my car)?

Do you have to run a blow off valve with a Rotrex? does it damage the units not having an air escape, when slamming the throttle shut? thanks :)

Until the input bearing becomes compromised (inevitably) and tilts the input shaft off center and causing the impeller to snap off at 20k miles. Anyone reading this, I highly recommend you to stay away from anything that includes a rotrex unit.
love it. has anybody ever installed a rotrex on something with a Weber carburetor. I want to try it with a 74 bummer?
I want a kit that will get my 00' S2000 to around 350 HP. Would this SC be an acceptable option for what is my every day driver? Are these SCs mostly geared toward track use?

@Kraftwerks : Reg C38-92 which I am buying at the momt. How do we control the boost at part throttle? Does the supercharger come with an in built bypass valve ?
I have heard that these units fail on K20A Hondata controlled cars due to no soft rev limiter .

Yes. It also used it's own oiling system. No need for a cool down period after a hard run.

Historically speaking every boosting device I've seen over the years with components that spin at over 50,000 RPM will demostrate the catastrophic delight of circular motion changing into straight line motion. Spinning at 200,000 RPM will get you there 4 times faster. The Manufacturer or End User will make it happen , just give it some time for something simple attached to the power plant to be neglected.
Lack of maintenence will ensure catastrophic failure.Boosting a stock engine with 6lb of boost = something expensive on the driveline will fail prematurely.
