Believe me or not, even though some people well prepared these topics still hesitate to attempt in exams. Only they will solve if they have time and felt confident in that question.
In mains if you don't know miscellaneous questions how the hell do you clear mains paper, do you think they are going to ask about percentage, ratio proportion and average based DI in mains,
And in most of the time it's even hard to solve quadratic and number series questions, We are talking about SBI Po mains here.

Fun fact: you cannot clear maine without arithmetic. Even DI requires concepts of arithmetic. It is not different. If he had said that he left two or three topics of arithmetic it still would have been acceptable. But this is way too much.

Actually you can clear mains of sbi po even without arithmetic beacuse you just have to score additional marks in other sections; the sectional cutoff of 2017 for quants was "0-marks" but it doesn't work in other banking exams & you should not do this also but it's not impossible.
@@mannered_brat only sbi po doesn't have any sectional cut off. Rest all banking examinations have sectional cut off. Plus, reasoning is quite unpredictable and tough. Can not rely on one or two sections for clearing the paper. Otherwise it would be like gamble. If you are lucky you may get in but if you are not then forget about any other banking examination.

That's exactly what I said that it's possible only in sbi po and may b in clerical exams also because I have been in the waiting list of ibps associate 2021 & in merit list of ESIC UDC without doing* actually I sort of did main 4-5 topics but it's not a good strategy though 😅
