This was the most chaotic but well put together/edited video I've seen come out of this channel. Truly a magnum opus of frogman. The short clip regarding "pain" and a mason jar next to two hairy feet gave me some early Internet days flashbacks 🙃
Mart has another 5864km to go. If he drives for 8 hours a day at the in-game speed limit of 100km/h, he would clear the remaining distance after 7.33 days. A little over a week. And this is assuming the conditions of: - Martin doesn't slow down, stop, or go afk at any point in his playthroughs, - Martin focuses SOLELY on driving, and not other in game activities, - The Satsuma doesn't break down/crash/need maintenance at any point while driving, - His subscribers don't add any more kilometers to his remaining distance. He's got a LOOOONG drive ahead of him.
Considering how much time was spent on crashes and restoring the car, I’d guess it’d realistically take another 3 weeks before he finishes it distance. …without the chaos made by further donations/subs.
The stream was insane, I checked the stream late at night, went to bed, gone to school and came back to find him still driving that car with even more distance he had to drive.
Holy shit- this man just looked at the largest landslide of money ever, and thought “yeah- imma donate every cent of that to charity” You’re the best Mart
He got a bunch of money but failed to deliver on his promise (which I don't think he can be blamed for considering how much the distance kept ballooning). I think Frogman (as he hinted at in this video) truly felt bad about the cash after realizing the sisyphisian nature of his goal. He probably felt like he inadvertently scammed people out of money and wanted to try and right it.
@@jerico1299 Yeah, but I don't see that as the case. Imo, he should keep it or atleast 50% of it, he suffered (actually suffered) mentally and physically for our entertainment, just as content creators you know, often do. It's just like working a job. So he earned his money rightfully.

The Children's stream was glorious. Half the time was spent rescuing the car/looking for 1 unpurchaseable engine component/fixing the car, the other half was spent desperately trying not to flip the car as a $100 "left" donation kicks in while he chances a 120km/h spring (didn't work). He got to 1,000km by the end of the stream barely, and then he fucking murdered Peena.

The Fins have forgiven you, Mart. But they will not forget.

I really hope Martin makes another longer episode like this for the rest of the challenge at some point showing off other funny moments in classic Martin style
martin is seriously a G for donating all that money to charity. there's no way i'd donate ALL of it. it's super generous
Edit: guys, he's donating to charity. it's literally giving money to charity. HOW do you criticize that? use your head lol
He deserves the success he Is having
I mean technically is you who are donating your money for charity he is just a middle man
@@alphaenterprise2232they did give him the money with no expectstions that he would do something noble with it, so I think its still mostly on Martin for donating it to charity
He’s donating the new streams to charity not this one. The money from the first is his.

He says all proceeds from the big first stream goes to charity
This was the most chaotic but well put together/edited video I've seen come out of this channel. Truly a magnum opus of frogman. The short clip regarding "pain" and a mason jar next to two hairy feet gave me some early Internet days flashbacks 🙃
nah, taking on america is still the best
nah the ksp trilogy imo
the deduction to make an already hard/painfull challenge even harder is impressive

My Name is not Michael... I am not afraid
Mart has another 5864km to go. If he drives for 8 hours a day at the in-game speed limit of 100km/h, he would clear the remaining distance after 7.33 days. A little over a week.
And this is assuming the conditions of:
- Martin doesn't slow down, stop, or go afk at any point in his playthroughs,
- Martin focuses SOLELY on driving, and not other in game activities,
- The Satsuma doesn't break down/crash/need maintenance at any point while driving,
- His subscribers don't add any more kilometers to his remaining distance.
He's got a LOOOONG drive ahead of him.
So like one LOOOONG stream a week maybe?
Bear in mind that he still has to nourish the bog.
Considering how much time was spent on crashes and restoring the car, I’d guess it’d realistically take another 3 weeks before he finishes it distance.
…without the chaos made by further donations/subs.
Sniper is looking absolutely gorgeous there, can't blame Mr Pants for looking at him through a walk on the countryside.
Satsuma for smash bros
6:48 He learned the hard way on how pressure works.
The icy grip of Finland is at ease for now.
Do not let it happen again Frog Man
The stream was insane, I checked the stream late at night, went to bed, gone to school and came back to find him still driving that car with even more distance he had to drive.
2:21 I cannot express the fear I felt when he said my name
Good luck Michael. Not many can outrun Martin
You wont Be missed.

15:20 the funniest moment, change my mind
Holy shit- this man just looked at the largest landslide of money ever, and thought “yeah- imma donate every cent of that to charity”
You’re the best Mart
He got a bunch of money but failed to deliver on his promise (which I don't think he can be blamed for considering how much the distance kept ballooning). I think Frogman (as he hinted at in this video) truly felt bad about the cash after realizing the sisyphisian nature of his goal. He probably felt like he inadvertently scammed people out of money and wanted to try and right it.
@@jerico1299can't agree, those people paid to see him drive more and so he did
@@jerico1299 Yeah, but I don't see that as the case. Imo, he should keep it or atleast 50% of it, he suffered (actually suffered) mentally and physically for our entertainment, just as content creators you know, often do. It's just like working a job. So he earned his money rightfully.
@@Tstahl962 "So he earned his money rightfully." and he willfully made the decision to donate his earned money, and will most likely keep the money made from his next stream since he changed the way the donations affect the gameplay

This series (and consequently, the game) has taught me more about vehicular mechanics than I've ever learned otherwise in life. Good educational content.
I literally made a mechanic career because of this game😂
The insane amount of editing that it took to put this together is incredible. Never played My Summer Car but loved this!
Right?! It's insane. There in so much editing in every second. The always something happening, so quickly paced but it works out perfectly. And all that for 40 whole minutes!

Coming back to this after he finished the entire distance. Congrats Mart its been a long ride
I fucking lost it when he yelled out in pure fear "THE TRAIN IS HERE", while he proceeded to not slow down and crash into said train.
“martin, the train is here.”
13:32 THE TRAIN IS HERE!
im not sure he COULD slow down, he had about 2 seconds to react before becoming a statistic
No matter how gently you hit the train, it's instant death in this game. Besides, the car's too light for the locked-up wheels to stop it.
You're like a reverse Valefisk. Instead of torturing others, you do it to yourself. Keep up the good content. New Space Exploration Video when?
He valefisk'd himself
Would love to see a collab between the two
it's been only 11 months, still way too early for more factorio
Hey. Martin. Despite my usual cheeky comments, I'm quite proud of you for driving more than 1,000km (and raising over $20,000USD for charity) in the first of many long, grueling, sleep-depriving livestreams. Hang in there, mate!
Definition of Suffering from success.
All the attention you draw to this game with your videos gives me hope my winter car might actually be released one day

For anyone wondering the song at 21:48 is the ending part of Palladio by Karl Jenkins.
What a sublime video mate. It's one thing to do that challenge, but the added thing is that you manage to condense the 20 hour footage to a lovely 40 minute film. You're one of the best out there at the moment.
This story wasn't about accomplishing such a long distance by satsuma, it was truly about him becoming stronger and stronger by every road bump, and a rivalry between mart and watch guy.

I love that he started with something easily do able in a stream or two, and decided to make it torture by making the distance increase. It could have been so easy and yet he chose to let it keep going up until it hit the same distance as is the radius of the earth
Can’t believe how much of comedic genius Martin is. This is great
