    I got an email notification 4 hrs ago for the jeffsy core 2 in both silver and black. I was lucky enough to randomly check my email 2 hrs after the notification and I was able to purchase one(silver like yours) even though the status said “ships latest may 16 2022”. Whatever that means. Oh well. I’m glad I was able to purchase one. The black one was already sold out when I checked!

      Excellent! Glad you got one ordered! The black is nice but it shows every scratch. I'm happy with the silver. I 3M'ed the whole bike recently and it really glossed it up and made it pop.

    Why does this bike already have the new Fox Float Damper? On the Page of this bike it‘s photographed with the old damper and the old damper is also mentioned in the Specifications.

      From what I read they were switching over in 2022. Since YT moved away from yearly models and instead update them along the way I guess they ran out of their old stock and switched over. Lucky me!

      It's "Tubeless Ready" so it comes with tubes installed but it's all ready for the swap. They include tubeless valve stems and it's already taped. I just recently switched to tubeless and it was super easy, just need some sealant.

    Hi. I’m about to order Core 2 today and was hoping you could advise on something.
    1) the colour - not sure to go with black or silver. I know black may show scratches easy so was thinking silver is more practical. What you think of paint job?
    2) Size - they only have XL left on order and I’m 182cm. On their size chart 174-183cm recommends large and from 183-193cm XL. So I’m kinda in between. How does the size of the bike feel? Do you think XL will be too large for 182cm?
    3) NX Eagle Drive train - finally what is the NX eagle drive train like? I would have rather preferred Shimanno SLX which is their mid lever drive train but bike comes with entry level Srams NX. So not sure if it’s any good. Definitely don’t want a something that requires upgrades.
    Would appreciate your feedback. Btw I would like to order 29er.

    • @travisadventureprojects4578
      @travisadventureprojects4578  3 роки тому +2

      Congrats! I had the exact same dilemma with colour. I went with sliver because, like you, I figure it'll show less scratches plus it would show up 6 months earlier. It seemed like every review online the bike was in Black so it's nice to switch it up. Plus all the black Fox suspension is really nicely contrasted by the silver.
      Sizing wise I'm 5'7" so I fall right in the middle of the medium range. The bike feels pretty perfect so I think the sizing chart online is pretty accurate.
      As for the drivetrain it shifted incredibly well right out of the box. Like anything I think you get people looking down on certain drivetrains online. I've never ridden the higher end scram stuff. All I know is this thing shifts like a dream and works really well. Don't let some of the negative comments online get you down, it rides really nice.

      @@travisadventureprojects4578 Thank You for replay. I am 182cm so will go for XL (hopefully not too big). Think I will also go for silver colour. Is the colour gloss or matt as it is hard to tell. I been having a hard time deciding if i want to go for cheaper Polygon T8 or more expensive Jessfy Core 2. There are some things that I like on T8 (like SLX drive train) but definitely there is more that I like on Jeffsy (Like Fox Performance suspension). Watched every UA-cam video on these bikes but can't 100% decide. PLease can you share your experience after you had a good blast on the bike. Will probably put down deposit on Jeffsy as they only ship in April 2022 so will have time to make my mind up.

      I flip flopped back and forth but ultimately like the climbing efficiency and rollover of the 29. This is my first 29 and it handles just as well as my 27.5 XC bike and my old 26 all mountain. Pretty stoked on how confidence inspiring the 29 feels.

      @@aaronreiss3903 Excellent! I think bike geometry has come a long way over the past few years. The 29 is easy to pop and jump plus you get all the efficiency benifits of the 29. My other thought was the higher end core 3 and 4 only come in 29 so the new Jeffsy frame design probably has more R&D into the 29er.
