    Thank you to the tree for his sacrifice
    The tree sacrificed his life so we can watch a grown man hit wood with a stick

    Great video. I like the P24 polycarbonate batons. They won't malfunction etc.

    AWESOME video, Josh! Loved the detailed assessment of the various batons and your opinions on each. Appreciate the shoutout, too! Happy to support the channel.
    Looking forward to the next one!

    Josh, you should check out the S&W "air" (aluminum) 16" expandable baton. Been carrying one for years. It's very lightweight, very strong, fairly cheap, and fits in a jeans pocket or jacket pocket when collapsed. I think it's the perfect balance of portability, price, weight, and reach. However, I'm not sure how it would fair against a tree. However if you had a punching bag, or a 1 gallon milk jug full of water, I think it would be fine.

    I'm sorry but the 24" baton at 10:10 looks so much like a pepperoni stick hahaha. Thanks for this video! I'm gonna try to make my own on a lathe so I was making sure what I was planning would indeed be my preference.

    Great testing. You should definitely check out the ESP Hardened expandable baton. Which is super durable. You'd be surprised how strong it really is compare to the smith and wesson baton.

      The way the world is going today.
      They really don't want to hurt people with batons. Because it is a bad look for policing.

    So it's actually called the pr-24 baton not p24. Or a side handle baton. Also with that 12in baton the keychain one I've had those break like the segments come out. And with the Smith & Wesson one yeah the problem with it not staying locked is a thing. I wish I could carry a non expanding full size baton but I can't anymore rules came down I can only carry an expandable or something that can fit in my pocket. So at the moment I have pepper spray.
    If possible you should get some different tire Thumpers from Amazon and maybe you compare different ones. I don't know I'm kind of curious if different ones would hold up better. I do know that road Pro is a brand of tire Thumper you should stay away from. They break really easily.
    Kombativ a sister website to karate Mart sells some 12in batons that are made from aluminum and steel. Might want to check those out.
    Also there's a company that makes an unbreakable umbrella might be something else to try out. That thing gets expensive you're paying like a hundred and fifty two hundred dollars for an umbrella.

    Only why the billy club broke because it wasn’t a person so if it was a human it wouldn’t broke😐😐😐😐

    • @techfrank2431
      @techfrank2431 Рік тому

      Nah it would still break if you use it too much on a human being. Metal batons are the way to go. Same with the pr 24 polycarbonate baton. That's good too

    Who is the gold standard for pr-24 batons?

    You’re not hitting properly with the truncheon!!! The metal weight in the end is what you’re supposed to be striking with. You hitting with the mid point of the truncheon basically created a fulcrum for a few milliseconds. Which contributed to it cracking. Next time strike with the end of the truncheon not the center. Also, the spring baton and truncheon are created to interact with flesh not hardwood… even if you hit bone, it’s flesh to cushion the blow; and most bones aren’t as hard as a 2x6 board. That truncheon could easily crack 8-900 skulls without so much as a nick in the wood. 😂 I’d rather get hit with that polycarbonate material any day of the week as opposed to the truncheon and spring baton. Those things have killed countless amounts of people throughout history with little to no training people will intuitively use these properly.
