      angelique little - could also be a side effect of all these vitamins, minerals and drugs he recommends if you take any of them. Who knows if all these things he sells are really even necessary. I feel like when you fix some something with these “deficiencies” we have, we break something else

      @@Soundwave-F7Z Thank you. I agree with on that. I must admit though I haven't yet started taking the vitamins and drugs he recommends, But I have as of late been indulging in the wrong foods that can aggravate some conditions in the body ( namely inflammation in different areas of the body). I am seeing more of a connection between the foods I've indulged in and the effect on my body.
      I'm about to do an herbal cleanse and eat only raw or steamed veggies. Also eliminate all the foods that are known to be inflammation causing. I can't wait to see how my body responds. 😀

      @rocknblues81 - and tbh, i don't want to sit here and act like I'm a scientist and I know what I'm talking about....but at the end of the day, we don't really exactly know what's happening to our bodies when we put all these substances inside of it. And I'm also not saying Berg is wrong at all - he has great, informative videos and I watch all of them.

    Six years ago I had to have ulnar nerve repositioning surgery on my arm/elbow (**Ulnar Nerve Entrapment - 4th degree, I had to have my bones in my elbow smoothed out to prevent further tearing**) due to pressure of me resting my arms on the table while using a computer (for DECADES). I wound up shredding the nerve sheath and it caused damage and pressure on the nerve, essentially making everything from my elbow to my fingertips to be numb/asleep. The last straw for me was when I sliced my pinky finger while cooking, bled everywhere, and never realized it was MY finger bleeding. I had lost 85% of the feeling and movement in my hand and fingers. Six years later, I have movement back in my hand, but my fine motor skills are still low and my ability to hold things (or detect that I am holding things...) is very low. Nerve damage cannot be repaired, only protected. I now have a 6" scar on the inside of my elbow that reminds me every day that I really need to protect my body from damage ;(

    Number 7 - Low B12 - cause could be a vegan diet!

    • @Vitatalks
      @Vitatalks 4 роки тому +1

      @Op Hs I'm familiar with all that you just said. However healthy individuals eating good levels of animal products are far less likely to be low/deficient in B12 than Vegans. The vegan diet (without supplementation) is virtually devoid of B12, the only viable source of this nutrient being certain seaweeds e.g. nori.

    Dr Berg, what about dialysis? I never had a problem with numbness until I started dialysis. It started in my toes only. When I asked me GP about it she just looked at my feet and said :"Hmm? Neuropathy?" But offered no advice other than ask my nephrologist. My A1C was between 4.9 and 5.2 back then by the way. When I asked my nephrologist he acted like he didn't know what could cause it either and told me to see my GP for some Gaba. I didn't. I'm not in pain. I don't need pain killers.
    In the meantime it's spread from the toes to the rest of my feet. I feel hot or cold, they look perfectly healthy. Some days I can't wiggle my toes after treatment it's so bad. They're not just numb but stiff. I've tried ALA bc it worked in German studies for diabetic neuropathy. It didn't help me. Benfotamine made no difference. I can't remember to eat nutritional yeast regularly. I do take my b vitamins in the form of my renal vitamin.
    My calcium is 8.3 and I'm told that's ok. My pth is higher when my calcium is on the lower end. I'm sure my vitamin D is low even tho they give it to me thru IV. They don't test it so I don't know why they reduced my dose from a 5 to a 1. Now back up to 4...finally after I've complained I can't get my calcium up to at least a 9 or 10 no matter what I do. Do you have a supplement to help with numbness btw ? I'm taking your sea kelp. You mentioned it had 10x the calcium. I feel good on it but it didn't help with calcium either. Not that you claimed it would. I know it's not a calcium supplement. I still thought it might help some.

    • @Kleinochsenfurter
      @Kleinochsenfurter 4 роки тому

      I'm on 60mg of sensipar and I just looked at the manufacturers website because I've asked the dietician that prescribed it before why they would give me a medication that reduces calcium when I'm struggling to keep my calcium up. She assured me several times that it works by removing calcium from my blood and pushing it into my bones. The website warns not to take it with low calcium levels and one of the side effects would be numbness if you do. Instead they upped me from 30 to 60 mg of sensipar when my pth is up. It's up bc my body gets calcium from my bones.
      They never test patients vitamin D levels. Mine were low when I had them tested. I was upped to 5 units and taken back down to 1. Now upped back to 2. Vitamin D can lower pth.
      I think I'm beeing bamboozled because somebody is getting kickbacks. My chair neubors pth was high and dietician upped his sensipar rather than vitamin D as well. Both of us telling her sensipar isn't working in reducing pth.

    Question: If you eat more fat than your body needs, that extra fat is stored as bodyfat? I mean while being on keto.

    • @desiree2086
      @desiree2086 4 роки тому

      How can you store fat? You can only store carbs as bodyfat right??

    • @JoyfullyOrangeDeborah
      @JoyfullyOrangeDeborah 4 роки тому

      I know you can actually gain weight and still be doing the keto diet. I've watched videos from Dr Berg & Dr Berry that say you can eat too much fat but your body should let you know it's had enough.
      Get the free Carb Manager app & try tracking macros of carbs, proteins, & fats as best as you can. It's a very substantial app with ever growing database of products plus you can make your own recipes for tracking what you create. Make sure you set up your profile for kero diet with your age, weight, height, weight loss desire & such so it can help you with appropriate macros. It has worked very well for me & hubby (he's not full keto but I am).
      Also do a video search for "Too much fat on keto" and watch respected Dr's & coaches. Stay away from Get Lean After 40, all they want is money & I got sucked in. He starts off good, but soon starts feeding you info about keto being bad & you should carb up every other day & on treat meal weekends like eating white rice.... yeah... NO!

      I have chrohn's which is a autoimmune disease and is just told that your body attacks itself. I believe it may be bacteria or viruses thar are deep imbedded and seems like the body is attacking the walls of the intestine. These are just some of my thoughts on it and may change them as I learn more and understand myself better.

      @@saltyprepper5513 You're right about that but I have MS and have never had a root canal ever. So my root cause has to be something else. I think it is EBV plus the removal of my tonsils at 4 yrs old plus a lot of built up toxins and perhaps a pathogenic infection be it viral, bacterial, fungal or parasitic, or more than one of the above. Lonnie Herman on UA-cam, check him out. I think he has the answers.

Like for exemple the last couple months i ate gluten, some junk food, sugar and i crashed. I had adrenal fatigue back and the spot is "awake"- tingling, burning. Anyone have a clue what it is. What can we do to get back his skin to the way it used to be. We tried to fix his autism but haven't been successful till now. I feel if we can fix the skin maybe that will help with his autism as well.
