I put some panels on my wall to take away the reflections. Not expensive used double-sided nana tape as they are easy to remove. I'm able to mix vocals better and the speakers are accurate and translate well. Not expensive but worth it if you need mixes and music to sound like something that a consumer would pay for. Wish I had done it earlier, to be honest.

When should you record rap close to the mic compared to further back? I typically record close since I’m not usually very loud
