Alright y'all, 2023 is off to a bit of a chaotic start... it's okay though. 😣 WE MOVE! Get ready with me while I update you guys on what's going on in my life. I've been dealing with rejection from an opportunity I was excited about, financial insecurity from being an unemployed girlie (traditionally), getting a brand new car (which I am so very grateful for), and of course my hair is getting on ALL of my nerves. always deeply appreciate your transparency, I've just turned 26 and I feel very...out of sorts a bit? like I am here for my growth, wellness and new experiences --- I just feel that soooomething somewhere needs to shift for the next level so to speak
Thank you Winter! Sometimes I feel like I could go more in depth and be even more transparent, but you know... the Internet. Either way, I know exactly what you mean about feeling out of sorts. Something's off and I can't quite put my finger on it... yet. I am trying to be more present because I know part of my "problem" is being too worried about the future, which is causing anxiety, which is making me enjoy my everyday life a lot less. It's ... weird.
It’s crazy how I’m 22 but we’re currently on the same journey. I look up to you because of your openness and authenticity, as well as your consistency and drive (even though you might think you’re not consistent). Just know that you’re not going through this alone and you’re doing way better than a lot of us. You’re making big moves on social media and you’re doing the damn thing. It’s obvious that your biggest enemy is yourself. Please just love yourself as much as we love you and believe in yourself like how we wholeheartedly believe in you. You got this sis❤
Thanks for being honest & transparent about your experience with how life is lifing’ especially working as a creator or even a entrepreneur. I love how you still keep pushing presenting your best with your best attitude and making what you would deem a “weakness” look good. time > money 🙌🏽 I'm BIG on work life balance now, especially as I get older because I just want to spend more time enjoying my life. I don't want to stress about money, it's uncomfortable. This year, I hope to truly pivot and change my mindset and relationship with money. Sis is tired of being broke.

Listen the job search is real out here and it does hurt when you're rejected from a position you applied to. I'd be lying if I said I don't go from feeling like I have everything figured out to wondering what I'm doing too - motherhood, career, etc. Sending you lots of love as you navigate a new season and praying that God has a role just for you at a company whose values not only align with yours but truly values YOU🥰

Sometimes God introduces us to opportunites and guides us through the process of applying ourselves to show us that we can apply ourselves and so when that rejection comes it is protection but it is also, yes, acknowledgment (I believe) that although we may not yet be ready we have been prepared and will be when the aligned opportunity presents itself.
I love this! Thank you for providing this perspective. I'm going to reflect on this whole thing and take notes on what I learned from it all, because it was a whole process fr lol and it showed me what's possible.

I’m so intentional about work life balance. My job is not gonna drain me and I’m not taking it home and it won’t interfere with my with my life.I just feel out of whack with my friendships and relationships, just such an awkward stage. I feel like I’m starting over at 26. Even my hair ain’t acting right, I’m over it
