Wearing your new foundation and powder today for the first time….love it on my 78 year old skin. Thank you Wayne! xo patti
You're gorgeous Patti ❤❤💋💋
We love you Rock Star Mom!💕
Going to do a clip and show us how to use it ;) I tired to purchase yet out of stock
I agree Patti. I used it for the first time and love it on my 67 yr old skin. I ordered the powder today.
How much are the products? I'm always searching for "the" perfect foundation!
Gosh I love how you just get right into it and you don’t talk about irrelevant topics with an annoying voice and an intro and blah blah THANK YOU for being who you are and staying that way!! I just love you, Wayne!!!!
Love that too. Some of these beauty influencers make 40 minute videos which could have been reduced to 15 had they not talked about literal nonsense for almost an hour.
I too just got my foundation bundle today, 70 years old, OMG you NAILED IT Wayne with the formula. #10 color and it’s a perfect match. I am truly amazed at how natural it looks on my skin. Speechless. Just did 1/2 of my face to see the difference and boy oh boy am I in heaven. No more feeling self conscious about how my foundation looks! I’M SO HAPPY! And the powder, can’t even tell it’s on, doesn’t make my face look dried out. Thank you, thank you THANK YOU WAYNE!
Judy, how did you decide on 10? After looking at the choices, I think I think I am the same number. Can you compare this with another foundation you use so I can make a decision?
Has anyone bought that lightest color as a brighter?
Thanks in advance for your help🥰
70 years young , you mean . 😘
@@ejbooks normally I wear La Mer 12, natural. Wayne's 10 looked very close so gave it a shot. Couldn't have been any closer. I also use Shiseido 260, cashmere and Wayne's is also perfect match. Hope that helps..
So jealous, I wanted #10 but was sold out! Enjoy 😊
@@judygebhardt1964 Thank you so much!!! It will help me ❤️❤️
I'm 59 years old and my mother taught me this technique . I've been doing it since I was 18 years of age, I do mine with lipstick for some reason It looks more natural. My mother used to do it with lipstick also, i guess that's why I do it also. Just recently one of my customers told me I love the way you do your makeup, all you see is how radiant your skin looks.
Oh Wayne, I adore you. I swear you're the most consistent presence on UA-cam. I've been watching you for over a decade and you haven't changed a bit 🙂 thank you
100 💯
Love this! Weirdly enough, this is a fantastic technique for people who wear chunky glasses. I wear big dark square frames a lot and doing that straight line of blush across the nose and top of the cheeks, right underneath where the frames hit, is perfect for cancelling out the dark, cool shadows from the glasses. I do it straight back from the temples too to kinda neutralize the shadows from the side pieces and it’s a game changer. 🤓
Great tip!
Genius!
Thank you for this!!
Oh wow thank you for this great tip!
i am so glad you are still doing this on youtube!! you're one of the OG makeup gurus and we need talented people like you who know what good makeup looks like
I used to “drape” my blush back when I was a teenager- in the 80’s. This was VERY on trend throughout the entire 80’s. It wasn’t called that tho lol.
I’m sure one of my older sisters did that too!
I have always wanted to do blush draping but thought I would look crazy. Glad it’s trending now. It actually makes my under eyes look less dark.
Hi Mary how're you doing today?
"New" blush draping! Yeah, I first started wearing makeup in the 80's, back in the olden days when blush was Big and Bold. Kids these days...
Thanks, Wayne, you're great and I love your channel.
I do this with my blush, and I'm happy with the results. Wayne, you always give good advice, and make me laugh!
When traveling… I’m almost always using only blusher, for most of my “color” makeup…. even on the eyes. It’s so versatile and looks “fresh” and more “natural”, than other kinds of color makeup. Top it off with some liner in the upper waterline (only) and some mascara (also only on the top) and done. (As a base, I’ll wear a tinted sunscreen moisturizer and a light coat of loose setting powder.)
Hi Tanya how're you doing today?
love that you use your brushes, it really educates us on how versatile they are!
I love this! Years a go when my mom was teaching my how to do make-up, she taught me to do blush much like this. With the different trends you see pop up on youtube, putting blush on like this felt outdated, but you're proving it's a timeless beautiful technique.
You, kind sir, are the reason I started using blushers! Watching your videos and seeing your infectious love for them just can't be ignored! And it rubbed off on me! So, thank you! ❤️
Love your tips. I always get compliments on my makeup. I am 69 years old with olive skin. I follow your advice all the time. Never fails. Love you.
Wow.. 63.. lifelong makeup lover.. didn't think there was anything i had left to learn.. this was eye opening.. loved this tip..
Just to share a tip.. Wayne mentioned mixing blush and highlight for a shimmering blush.. went to lunch years ago with my mum who was in her 70s...who had a shimmery blush on her apples of the cheek..
Her skin looked amazing..
Made her whole cheek area look plump , juicy and youthful..been mixing highlighter and blush myself ever since..
Eliza Doolittle also used to say 'loverley'!
Thank you for the video.
I love this technique! I’m 46, and my grandmother explained this blusher application in the 80’s, and I still use it! It’s beautiful on everyone. 💕
My dear Mom use to say “loverly”. It made me smile to hear you say it.♥️
Draping is my favourite method and I learnt that from WG a few years back, but just on the cheeks. I'm the type who just spot conceals followed by brows, mascara & blush. Maybe a wee cateye if I happen to have time. It will be interesting to try this allover method. Thank you Wayne for showing us ways to apply makeup in a natural, everyday, look kind of way xxox
Love this! I’ve followed you for so long and you’re the most consistent person I know (virtually of course) I feel like we have aged at the same time too so your tips are always relevant 👏👌 please don’t ever change ❤️
I’ve draping my blusher for a few years now…having learned it from Wayne. It’s so flattering. Makes my face look su kissed and fresh.
Somehow I’ve missed this in the past. It really gives a beautiful, natural glow to the face!
I love you Wayne. I've been following you since my twenties and i'm 43 in a week....I feel we've grown together!
Wayne's Wisdom Wins Again!
Sitting here having a wee giggle at you because 1) you always make your tutorials go like a breeze explaining what to do simply 2) you relate to us all that makes us feel like friends and lastly, going to slap your face at the end cause you said your words wrong makes you human! 😀
I can't wait to try this, it's the look I've been longing for, a natural, lit from within glow. Thank you!
I love(erly) adore the way you get excited when changing up application techniques. 💓
Wow! I just tried this-very happy with the results.
I love how you touch your hair ❤
I have been following you since I was in high school I have always loved your energy and you helped me build my self steam growing up. Love from a far far land
There was a woman makeup artist years ago who taught this method. I’ve always loved it. Looks so natural!
Oh, Wayne… You’re so PRETTY!!
💖Truth.
Yes you are right on! You showed this technique way before it became trending and I have been using and loving it. You are awesome Wayne🥰
The foundation brush #2 is The GOAT! Total unsung hero of brushes … one of my favorite of all time.
Because I am very fair, so Ihave used blush to cover along hair line or chin or nose etc. This cuts the paleness of my skin to create a more natural look. Was taught by my grandmother how to multi task lipstick. (She had small children during WW2) Thank-you Wayne!!
I LOVE "draping" my blush!!! I've nvr tried it the way you did... putting foundation on after blush... but, I just love wrapping the blush around the perimeter🥰, it just looks so natural and youthful!!
I've been doing this for years. I always felt that only having blush on my cheeks didn't look quite right, so I also apply it on my forehead, nose, & chin. That kind of brings it all together. I have gotten many compliments on my complexion.
Hi Wayne. I’m 46 years old from up North. I’ve only just started to use makeup in a more sensible way. The 1980’s/90’s have finally gone.
I found you channel at the weekend. Already I’ve learnt so much from you to the point I’ve gone out and bought new products and sponges (never used a sponge before) and I’m loving it.
I can finally create and feel more confident thanks to your tips and tutorials.
Thank you!!!
Thank you Wayne for re-educating us. We sometimes forget the tricks we use to do. May I say, you also look "loverly" today. 😍
I’m in the US but I agree..you’re loverly! Can’t wait to try one of your blush palettes. Love you sweet boy!
Oh Wayne, you’re so talented! Thank you for sharing this- I will be trying it! ♥️
I like your red ear 😍 *Ding Ding Ding'* and I appreciate your work. Especially the minimalist Make-Up tutorial for us men 🌹 Today your tutorial brings your face to a stunning look. Well done - as always. New background illumination looks great 👍
Going to try with your new foundation I love it! I have large pores, redness and scarres. All gone with just one light swipe. I could throw out all my other products and still be one happy over 50 lady. Thank you!!
Haha this is what I do understand powder foundation! It looks nice in warmer times especially... It's not a new trend at all it just makes sure you don't have a flat skin with the makeup. Nice work x
Absolutely ! adore you Wayne
Your videos are so awesome.
Your new make up products and brushes look fantastic I just wish I could afford them all at once. I Love ❤️ you Wayne Goss you are so talented in the make up industry and also very HANDSOME you are a absolute professional.
All my love from Australia 🇦🇺
Pammy 😘❤️🥰
So… I will be adding blush to my throat now. Thank you for keeping me looking stunning. 🖤
I love the easy just as some lashes (and eyebrows for me..) and go out! I've been using blush wherever my face needs color forever. Love it!
Wayne Goss, you are absolutely beauty-full!!
Sending tons of love from California.💖💖
Thank you for the wonderful technique delivered with warmth and charm. Best wishes to you.
Lol...been doing my blush like this for years. Glad to know it's an actual makeup technique.
Thank you for the video
blush... my favorite makeup! I'm with you Wayne, it makes the face come alive!
Hey! I wanted to update you:
I got undereye PRF recently. It's totally worth it, in my experience.
For those who don't know, he asked about recommendations for under eye treatments a while back. I personally got PRF and may go back for another one at the end of July, since results are cumulative.
How long have the results lasted so far?
@@ellaa3776 I just got them done on April 22, 2022. It's only been a few days. I can tell you however that every morning I wake up my eyes look smoother, brighter and the lines are slowly receding. I'll see what the full results are at the end of July. Apparently it takes between 1-3 treatments to fully heal an area. I'll be getting my one petpeeve fine line done soon too lol..I only have one line on my face, and the doctor says it can be fully healed with PRF as well. I'm thrilled about PRF so far and can't wait to see the full effects.
Already I've gone from needing a full concealer and extra coverage powder under my eyes to just my favorite medium coverage foundation and a little powder like before. That's after 4 days!!! Of course I quickly took the makeup off because I need to rest my skin for a week, but that test told me a lot about the truth of how the treatment is actually working or not.
How exciting. i am thinking to get it done too. My under eyes circles dark. And nothing else cant be done, because of thin skin and deep set eyes. So i am very interested, but havent found provider, here, in SF . They try to push PRP and i know that doesnt do much. Could you please tell me what was the cost of one procedure? Thank you so much🙏Have a blessed day 🙏🧡
What's PRF please?
Can we PLEASE keep the term :
FACIAL DRAPING?
I think it's a wonderful way of describing this technique - in fact it's .... "lovery" 😊
Going to try this in the morning. Makes such sense!
Hi Laura how're you doing today?
I didn’t realize this technique had a name! Thanks Wayne!
Wow you make every makeup technique looks effortless. I’m uncertain how I would manage will have a go at weekend 😊 overall look felt naturalistic . I use to do something similar when in my late teens with Mary quant cream type blush under fair foundation then as it was the 80’s I plastered other colour on top which was fun and on trend at time . Although now older and wiser I would have been better off skipping the other blush products and just leaving the blush under my foundation to gently luminate my cheeks and bone structure.
I thought I was seeing things! I walked down the street the other day, and I was like why do they all look like they've been beat up!😂🤣
Thank you. Cannot wait to try this.
BTW I did not jump fast enough and now am waiting for the foundation to be back in stock.
Thank you so much! Again and again you show how easy and natural makeup can be. I have been watching your channel for many years. And actually lived in lovely Somerset for a year back in the days. Greetings from Denmark.
I love this technique! I’m from the States and my siblings and I always say loverly!!!
Hi Melanie how're you doing today?
Wayne watching you makes my day, always!
I'm also obsessed with blush!!!
90’s clothes are back, with 80’s makeup!
I miss the 80's and 90's . that is when I was a spring chicken . ... LOL
Love this I’m going to try it by the way congrats 🎉 on your foundation my colour is out of stock at the minute but soon as it’s back I’m going to get it
My Grandfather’s was from Somerset I recognised the accent best wishes 🌸🌹🌼
thank you, loverlie
Hello! I hope you had a joyful day! I went plant shopping with my youngest daughter and we had fun, Now, I get to watch your video. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Thank you for this video and your talent.
Your blush products are lovely! Absollutely love the application of the highlight on the collar bones and shoulders. Yes Wayne! Your line is wonderful! What's next???
Not to be a drama queen but this tip changed my life. I crudely drew your instructions on a piece of paper and viola. Thank you
‘All I want is a room somewhere
Far away from the cold night air
With one enormous chair
Now wouldn’t it be loverley”
Yes I got the My Fair Lady vibe as well. We had a record of the soundtrack when I was a kid in the sixties and I used to sing along with all the songs.
Oh. My. Gosh!!! Brilliant! Thank you for sharing this!!!
It's fantastic that you're in such a great place Wayne 🙂. I mean you are downright adorable! I love that you don't bother editing out your flubs, it makes you that much more of a real person lol. I'm sitting here cracking up each time you let out a "GOOD LORD"
Absolutely loving how healthy that color blush looks after you've stacked it. I never noticed your ears, you're too cute LMFAO 😆

Your cream foundation came today. So fast I think it is going to be a really good match. Will wear it tomorrow!! I will have to try the draping method.

I like this community as the women are kind, helpful , mentally mature and generally very nice women 💖💚
About 3 years ago I was subbed to another very popular MUWA ( as well as being subbed to Wayne) . This MUWA has a tiny scar on his eyebrow . He covered it up with foundation ONE time to show how to cover up imperfections like scars ( which I have too ) . And grown women were telling him he didn’t need to do that & they loved his scar & were saying they were upset he’d covered up his scar . WEIRD . All I said was that it was okay for him to cover up his scar . I got a lot of abuse from several women . Two of them harassed me for months . And they even told me that they wished I’d have a heart attack and die . The MUWA saw what was going on and did nothing . Of course I unsubbed
(These were mature women not girls ) .
So I really appreciate the women on here ! Thanks ladies for being so lovely 🥰❤️
Omg I love this look. Thank you, Wayne! And now I’m going to get the gorgeous blusher palette of yours ♥️🥰♥️
